I liked it here. Nice traditional feel, cosy, very friendly staff. Victim of its own success, though. Too busy, and you're literally very up close and personal, squeezing past anyone and everyone on your way to the bar or the toilet

A great local pub in the centre of Blackpool. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great jukebox, plus great live music. We always head here when in Blackpool.

This is a fantastic pub with great atmosphere and friendship. The staff are so friendly and helpfully that you always want to go back There is no such thing as a stranger in The Mitre just someone you have not met before. Be back in a few weeks to taste the warm atmosphere and cold beer 💙🤍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A great family run Pub well stocked bar great service. Weekly entertainment to suit most people out for a great night out.Kerry Jay & Bobby are so warm and friendly and a pub filled with happy customers definitely recommend a night out here you won’t be disappointed. Till next time

What a lovely pub in the middle of Blackpool. Good choice of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Lots of historical photos around the walls to view. The barman was very welcoming with good tunes on in the background and not too load. The facilities were extremely clean and you could tell they were well looked after.

We recently visited on a Sunday Evening... maybe more nighttime :) Had an amazing time with my Mum and Sister, everyone was super friendly, juke was playing so atmosphere was ace with everyone getting along and dancing together :) I would highly recommend 5 stars

Stopped here for a quick pint before a gig, and ended up missing food and going straight to the gig. What a fantastic place! DJ on Friday night played an awesome mix of tunes on request, and we could have stayed all night! Bar staff were great, landlord was very welcoming, and it had an excellent vibe! Might be the smallest pub in Blackpool but of the several we visited it had the best atmosphere!! Would go again.

Old school music. Real slot machines ! £9:80 for a gin and a beer. Not that cheap really. Nice inside, clean and tidy. Worth a visit, but it was very quiet

Whenever we get the tram into Blackpool to go for a drink this place is always first & sometimes last stop. Mixture of tourists and locals in the summer with regular 'sing-a-longs' to tunes of the Juke Box. A little quieter in winter and does very good quality beers on draught.

A small but very welcoming pub not far from the front. I only sampled the TT Landlord but it was in excellent condition. The lady behind the bar was in control, and even interrupted a local when he carried on interrupting me mid-story! There was some very interchange of experiences between old "gits", in a most agreeable atmosphere. Near the front but away from all the flash of the seaside!

Nice little pub good atmosphere but don't expect good service later in evening seemed like couldn't be bothered, waited while bottle washer was emptied so gave up went elsewhere

We go in here whenever we visit Blackpool and it always has a decent pint and is usually very friendly.

We popped in here for a drink on our last visit just over a week ago. We visit Blackpool often but have never been inside. We realised exactly what we have been missing as the place had a lovely welcome, great drinks prices and a great atmosphere

warm atmosphere , clean and tidy......would visit again but did not rate blackpool so it will probably never happen

On our four day trip to Blackpool we visited many pubs and bars ,one of my favourites was undoubtedly The Mitre Pub. I loved the look of this pub ,the interior is as traditional as it gets ,lovely decor and furnishings, a cute looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy streets around this pub ,to me what made our visit so memorable was the lovely lady who served us called Louise ( Louisa ) who after my twin brother Stephen and I had track and traced and sanitised our hands and been allocated a table took our order of a Fosters lager each ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers had a good chat with us ,made our visit so nice, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub and socialising again. We really enjoyed our beers in here which were really nice and we loved the vibe in here ,had a fabulous time before we moved on and for a first time visit to The Mitre Pub we had a great time. The Mitre Pub is easy to locate along West Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 10.30pm till 1am. ( I think ) . A great pub ,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Mitre is the best pub in Blackpool and one of the oldest.Tucked away down a side-street and a short stroll from the North Pier this superb pub on West street looks a very inviting pub to visit. With a traditional old world pub exterior with two period lanterns and a great outside seating area it stands out from many of the pubs we visited on our three day trip to Blackpool. The Mitre is the smallest pubs in Blackpool with a traditional pub interior and superb seating areas and many interesting fixtures and features which relate to this area and the pub inself. The Mitre is without doubt the best pub we went to in Blackpool as it had everything that we like in a pub.With bags of character and excellent staff and a great drinks range. On entry we gave our track and trace details and took a seat in this excellent pub.We where served by one of the best pub staff we have met in many year's a lady called Louise who made me and my twin brother very welcome in her pub. When here we had a couple of glasses of Fosters brewery lager which where perfectly served and well priced. The Mitre is in my opinion a must go destination for anyone who likes traditional pubs with bags of character and history as I think the Mitre pub is celebrating it's 100th year.The staff are superb and there is a fantastic atmosphere in here and if I could give this pub a six star rating I would.Very easy to locate from North Pier tram stop it's over the road on West street.(This is my first review of the Mitre). me and the wife love this pub always a friendly welcome being over 60 like to go in a pub and feel safe never seems to be any hassle well not when we have been in and the beers top notch

Small pub, big atmosphere, lovely relaxed cosy pub just a stone’s throw away from the Tower. Very relaxed music. Decorated nicely for Halloween. 2 nice real ales available, so good came back the next day as well especially to try some more of them. Friendly staff & locals. Pub became licensed in 1902. More jovial on night time visit than my early after noon visit. Will seek this place out next time I am in the area.

Popped in the mitre with partner asked if they do local prices the barman asked me for my address and postcode told him still charged us full price well over 7 pounds for two pints of fosters rip off they should look after the locals especially in the winter months when the town is quiet

good pub, good beer, would recommend the Theakstons mild, even tho the bar gets busy the staff are really good +++++

We were looking for a real ale pub and found The Mitre just off the prom. It's a small but welcoming pub with great music. It was a mixed age group and part of the L,G,B,T scene.

We had a few drinks here over our weekend stay in Blackpool😁the atmosphere was brilliant and I loved the music 70s 80s 90s ECT some music for almost everyone 😁 will definitely visit next time we go to Blackpool

Not something that you get in many pubs these days as it is so out of fashion. A nice little pub with a good range of bears close to the Tower and just off the prom.

Great little pub friendly and a warm welcome however £13 for two doubles is far too much for a pub in blackpool not worth it considering Wetherspoons round the corner is much much cheaper!

Enjoyed here we were made welcome the pub had a good atmosphere and had 2 real ales on and they were reasonably priced

For some reason it chooses terrible. This place is far from that , its like New Years eve on the nights I've been. Will definaytely vixity again n again. The music and the barstaff are brilliant. Keep up the great work you guys.

Fast friendly service and great music. The music was older music from the 70s but we had a great night. The pub is small but a great atmosphere.

Stopped in here for a quick pint till the rain stopped...only a small pub...jukebox had plenty of choice...5 selections for £1...it seemed popular with the locals

We went there following a ghost tour of Blackpool, which mentions The Mitre. Although the ghost story didn't bear much credibility, the pub was very welcoming and had a great friendly atmosphere.

The best Landlord and Landlady by far the Staff are brilliant and always up for a laugh,we have used this Public House on numerous occasions over the years and rarely use any other.A big thanks to everyone for a cracking Easter 5 great dinner and Night times.

Went in after sign outside said smallest pub in Blackpool. Was made to feel very welcome and had a couple of great quality pints of fullers London Pride.

The Mitre is by far the best little boozer in town, especially at Northen Soul Weekends, great selection of lagers and beers and served by excellent staff managed by Kerry.

We are locals and would not hesitate to recommend the Mitre pub when you are in Blackpool. Its a quaint and an unusual place - small but perfectly formed - with friendly warm welcome from bar staff. You'll not be disappointed!

Always have a hour when in Blackpool in this pub,everyone wants a chat and good beer and jukebox,try it! Not posh but nice.

Called here after hearing it was the smallest pub in Blackpool. Was very disappointed. My husband couldnt drink his bitter and My lager was an average pint. Worse thing was the smell of sewerage.

This is a lovely little friendly pub to visit The beer is kept perfect and the john smiths was the best we had sampled in Blackpool - very moreish.

Great bar as jukebox has superb choice of songs. Staff very nice. Drinks average priced. Everybody has a great time and joins in with the songs

Went to Blackpool for a couple of days break. We found this pub while out for a walk, it has a lot of charm and history, staff very good and welcoming. We will definetly be drinking there again.

Went to Blackpool shopping called in to the mitre for one and stayed for to meny great staff and atmosphere highly recommend it will definitely call again

this must be one of the smallest pubs in the area. A tiny bar hidden down a side street, very much a local style pub, good beer, fair prices and nice atmosphere.

We always visited on our stays in Blackpool and always found it to be a very popular and friendly bar but it seems to be under different management and it has lost a lot of its character. Probably wont go again.
