Dirty tables service took 35mins when turned up was disgusting as if sitting too long under heat lamp. When left the table next to us still had not been cleared away after about 1 and half hours half menu not available no stock

Some great value drinks and service is very good. Would recommend.

We were staying in Blackpool for a few days and went for a drink in the Counting House. Really loved the pub everyone was so friendly and in particular Craig behind the bar gave exceptional service. He was so welcoming, friendly and very efficient. A real credit to the pub. We enjoyed it so much we went back in there the following day to watch the England game and what a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Very Poor, not our first time in the Counting House however it will definitely be our last! Gammon was terrible, we had to send it back. The Fat rind was excessive at best, chips were warm, service was poor. Sausage and mash was dry. Again service was less than good. We are a fan of Greeneking and we are Blackpool natives however this experience was extremely poor. Pub looked tired staff were not attentive and in our opinion didn’t really seem to care. All of which gives a bad impression of Blackpool.

Great atmosphere, cheaper drinks and food unlike most. Attentive and well mannered staff especially Jade, will do banter if you banter with them which is good. Got a DJ on the weekend who's brilliant, quick and affective security. Can't fault the place. ☆☆☆☆☆

Thought I’d try out the menu today at 1 at the counting house and it was absolutely spot on. The food was amazing. Definitely recommend and the service from James was great. Checked on us to see how the food was and if there was any issues

They sell non alcoholic beers which is good, they do need to sell non alcoholic wines though too which would give more choice to customers, other than that a nice little pub with friendly staff 😊

Love this place, it's a dog friendly pub and the bar staff are really nice guys, they were friendly towards me and my brother and gave my dog reggie water and treats, a very welcoming place to visit, will definitely be back.

Amazing food & staff - place could do with abit of a freshen up like the seating with rips. Great menu choice, even a doggy station! Food was piping hot and large portions. Drinks were a great price. Staff were lovely and not phased by my toddler running about!

I went to the counting house at the weekend for something to eat and a few drinks with friends, I was pleasantly surprised about the overall experience, we went to the bar and was served by a lovely man called Craig he was very friendly laughing and joking with us and made us feel really welcome, we ordered food and drinks and the price was very reasonable, the food came quickly and was hot and very tasty and the drinks were perfect to wash all that delicious food down with, the bar was clean and the atmosphere was very good we will definitely be visiting again soon Thankyou for a lovely evening Craig and the rest of the team

Not much for this the toilets were not very good they were very dirty there were broken plates in the ladies and the disabled toilet was not clean

Attended the pub today, told there would be a 35 minute wait for food, howevwr it arrived on the hour mark. Not very busy in there, so would dread to think how they would be on a busy day. Food when it arrived was ok.

Most of the staff was friendly. Some wasn't so much especially when my 2 kids meals wasn't right. The only thing that was good was the drinks because there meant to be cold. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't visit again

Called in yesterday afternoon with the wife for some food and drink… 1st impressions whilst stood at bar - pure filth ! I should have know.then to leave but we ordered our drinks and sat down ( behind the bar it was absolutely filthy and that amount of junk had not accumulated over a bank holiday weekend ) the menus where sticky , the tables the same, gum everywhere , dirty walls and carpets , toilets filthy - the whole place is the same no matter where you look. I get they was probably busy over the bank Holiday but that’s no excuse as the place was empty with staff stood about , there’s no way the premises had been cleaned to a high standard that morning. We still ordered food as we was hungry but that to was disappointing - all frozen ! Cutlery was dirty and no check backs, just staff stood about like they didn’t want to be there - whoever the manger is should be ashamed of themselves. I know reviews like tho hurt but im Afraid its the truth. Go there tomorrow if you don’t believe me and take a look for yourself. Used to be a decent bar a few years ago but it’s definitely gone downhill - I’m sorry but I will never set foot in that place again !

Expensive pint and not that good table's on side but non out front that's a shame fast service and friendly staff load of tabends all around seating area and been there some time

Pure filth, dont wear your new shoes as your leaving them behind on the floor, stuck in the filth and grime, tables the same dont touch them or your there forever, place needs a jet wash ,its disgusting at best,

I didn't eat but the menu looked good and was affordable. Fast efficient service and I was happy to see a good range of Lily's cider 😊. It was quiet but for a Wednesday night to be expected.

Food and service were excellent, only thing that let them down were the ladies toilets,not very nice and every toilet was missing toilet seat which was on the floor ,not clean I'm afraid .

We went in as a group of 6. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food(cooked fresh) came piping hot and well presented. Fantastic value for money. 100% recommend

Came in last night for food. Had the scampi which was lovely. Felt a little rushed as I came in at 7 with my teenage daughter and was constantly told children must leave by 8.30 repeatedly. We left before 8pm and had no intention on staying later. The service let them down

Where to start.. well, I guess the first thing was the mini waterfall that greeted us pouring through the smoke detector above the main door. God knows where the water was coming from as it was an usually (for Blackpool) sunny February day¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ The food we ordered (two pies) were dry and barely edible although to be fair our son had a burger which he said was nice. We've been on this pub a few times over the years but this was definitely our worst visit. The staff were all helpful and apologetic about the leaky ceiling, so I won't direct any criticism at them.

What a cracking night staff are amazing and DJ had everyone on a good mood

Food was cooked lovely and the staff were helpful, only marked down from A 5 due to some customers clearly too drunk and not being removed or asked to leave, will likely return but would definitely make sure it’s earlier in the day.

Nice friendly pub near to North Pier. We were staying in the Premier Inn and ate here one evening. The barman helped to seat the 6 of us even though he was very busy. Good meals and drinks at excellent prices.

Went in tonight for food was cheap and very good service. Dj was on and he was a d head lol but very entertaining and great music selection and maid all the people happy and dance.keep up the good work all of you .

Whatever you do don't go here when it's farmers weekend because the prices they charge you for a simple drink is ridiculous!!!! And it even comes in a plastic cup! Felt like I'd been mugged!!! Atmosphere is good but unless you have a healthy bank account stay far away from this one!

Piss take 3 drinks 1 pint 2 singles vodka, £23, i ask why so much and they said they put the prices up cos its farmers weeked wow 👌

Great location in the heart of Blackpool. Visited three times in November and enjoyed the service and drinks but the food was disappointing. Maybe just an “off week” but the quality and value was not good for us.

We had a few meals here during our stay in Blackpool. Really enjoyed the lasagna and the salad was really fresh and crisp. This was the night of storm Debbie! Called again and we got the kabbab and stake and ale pie, plus desert which was the fudge cream and ice cream cake, very delicious. Staff are polite and helpful. Menu has a lot to offer, some good meal deals and reasonable with the price. I would definitely call on this venue again for food and drink

Not been here for years but it still has the same vibe. Good music, good selection of drinks, decently priced and varied age range of clientele. Wish they'd put a toilet downstairs though!

This year (2023) we made 3 visits to Blackpool. We always come to the Counting House for lunch as it's located in a great place near the North Pier and shops. Conrad and his staff are extremely friendly and customer focused. They want you to have a great experience. Like our previous visits we were not disappointed in the quality of the meals and all served piping hot. Yes the place it crying out for a bit of redecoration, but there has been some improvements since our two visits this year in March & June 2023. Overall we enjoy coming to the Counting House, as fantastic value meals and drinks and attention to customer service. Conrad makes a mean Cocktail so we recommend highly trying one. Yesterday we had a lovely Blue Lagoon.... today we are going for a Long Island Ice Tea.... Great place for couples and families with Live sport screens and gaming machines. We revisited the The Counting House Blackpool Thursday 9th NOV 2023 for lunch. It was our 2nd lunch visit in the week. It' a Greene King Pub Restaurant, and we know the menus from visits to other places under the Greene King brand. We both ordered from their Senior Citizens 2 courses menu from Julie at the bar, which was fantastic value. Even their other menu choices are priced well, so lots of choice if dining as a couple, friends, family & with children. After a short wait Julie and Danny (Assistant Manager) brought our meals on a nice hot plate Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 courses, and surprisingly it only cost us an extra £1 each to upgrade from 2 to 3 courses :) We had a lovely afternoon in the Counting House, especially as the weather outside was quite windy & wet. Julie was just fantastic, checking to see all was ok with our meals. Friendly & Professional with a lovely warm smile. Julie really wanted us to have a great customer experience. She has been working there for 4 years. She was just brilliant, just like Danny the Assistant Manager. Thanks again Julie & Dan for a really lovely afternoon. Still filthy. Unfortunately we didn't read the reviews before visiting. If we had, we might have expected improvements to have been made, but my husband actually barred me from going to the toilets...disgusting

Sunday lunch of roast beef or turkey was good value for money but had to remind them of our order until they got it correct. Nice quiet lunchtime meal before going to the tower ballroom.

Never been before but was passing so we thought why not give it a go and we were pleasantly surprised, clean n tidy and the atmosphere was perfect, we ordered drinks then decided to have food, very reasonably priced and was very tasty too, we went in the day time which if you want to talk n eat is the best time but if you want to party then the evening is for you

It is much more noisy in here than it used to be ten years ago. Just an observation, not a complaint.

called in on the evening of the fire works, got food. quite busy not a lot of places to sit. also quite dark couldn't really see what we where eating. very average food.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the breakfast menu as the place wasn’t open even though it states 10am opening on Sundays. We arrived at 10:20am exactly and the main doors were closed and locked. No sign of anyone around even after knocking.
