Fish was small. Good service friendly staff.

Finally got the opportunity to visit a UK Harry's whilst here in Blackpool completing the Elmer Sculpture Trail (June 2024). In fact this was our reward for finding them all on a fabulous day of exploration. There's a restaurant facing the promenade, but we chose the more traditional chippy to the side/rear. You could take away or sit in. Having clocked up several miles on foot we opted for sitting in. Outdoor seating was an option, but the temperature had dropped in the breeze this afternoon. You could order using the interactive screens or at the counter, my option. Both cash and card were accepted, reasonably priced. A good traditional menu available. We chose Haddock, Mushy Peas, Scampi, and a large portion of chips to fight over. Not at all disappointed. Too full for desert!!! The perfect seaside celebration.

Food was OK I ordered Haddock and it came skin off never had it with the skin off before it was OK very small portion chips were warm not hot service was OK it wasn't very busy

7 of us went early on a Friday, our server Joel was brilliant. Slight problem with chips for one of the diners but was dealt with promptly and without fuss. Thank you Joel, great job looking after us all

We booked the afternoon tea through buyagift. The staff were really friendly and accommodating they even swapped the sausages for extra fish bites. Afternoon tea was impressive we had mini fish butties, fishcakes(lush!) , fish bites, panko crusted gherkins(omg delicious!) with mushy peas, curry sauce, ketchup and mayo, onion rings, chips, banana fritters with biscoff sauce and bread & butter pudding, small pot of custard and 2 lotus biscuits. We choose to have pots of tea which was massive easily 6 cups in there, but you could have a soft drink if you preferred. Really enjoyed the experience and would return again. Stuffed!

Fantastic place. We reserved, asking for a quiet table and possibly to bring a homemade meal for one of our party due to recovery from an illness, and were accommodated in everything we needed. Our server, Tom, was brilliant and really looked after us, all the staff were lovely but he is an absolute credit to the place.

Kasia is an absolute gem for the place. Always had a smile on her face, very helpful, quick and efficient. Lovely lady, the place is lucky to have her!

This was my first time visit to a Harry's. It was my dad's favourite fish place so went in his memory. There were 12 of us and the service was btilliant. Having such a large party is pretty intimidating but the staff were amazing. The food was also superb even if the kids meal arrived last 🤔. Thank you to all the staff that made the meal special.

June 21st 2024 Absolute rubbish. Table was sticky, food was very poor. Not be going back there again. Very disappointing.

Visited with my mum (79) & visiting Auntie from Australia, who wanted a great British fish & chips experience! We were served by super-friendly and helpful Joel at the BlackpoolTower branch, and chose to sit in a beautiful bolthole area, with gorgeous warn decor and lighting. Our food was DELICIOUS 😋 with a special shout out to the healthy portions of tartar sauce and ship shop curry; which was a perfect balance between sweet and a little spice. All topped off with perfect bread and butter puddings with custard. Thank you Harry Ramsden's Joel, and the chefs 👨‍🍳 🙏🏻

Decided to go to Harry Ramsdens for a 'proper' fish and chips experience after reminiscing about our last visit (10+ years ago) and how good it had been. Big mistake, overpriced mediocre fish and chips that had been reheated once (or more) too often. Save yourself some cash and buy your fish & chips elsewhere for half the price.

Came here for a meal alone. Tom was very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Food was perfect and served quickly. I'm vegetarian and the halloumi burger was perfect.

Would not waste your money here .. luckily the manager was very apologetic , and gave us our meal for nothing , the worst fish and chips I’ve ever been served disappointed was not even close , old oil , staff eating while serving our food :( will never return :( Fish was horrible , chips were full of eyes , and gravy was like nothing I’ve ever seen in my life .. The staff member who served me was lovely , and was embarrassed 🙈 at the food her self :(

Very expensive food wasn't that great

Would not even give this place one star. We came for a family meal and spent over £100 . The manager and all the blonde girl staff were unbelievably rude . Laughing at our Aisan attire which clearly means they are racist . The manager then showed disgusting attitude to my brother. Will definitely be taking this further due to racism.

Very very poor. Very slow. Had to cancel order and no refund. Will never ever recommend or use again. Staff didn't care either. Clearly young underpaid employees with no passion for the industry.

It's a Harry Ramsden's, so there are no real surprises. We ate here early ish on a Friday evening pre a gig so didn't have major expectations. Fish, chips and peas were pretty good. Although it was quiet, they were plainly short of staff so service wasn't amazing or particularly cheerful ( we ended up ordering online rather than waiting for waiting staff ). If you want a, relatively, quick, but decent fish and chips in a sit-down establishment, this'll work fine, but you wouldn't go out of your way to visit.

I did not realise that 48 hours was needed to book with Harry Ramsden for the afternoon tea. I purchased this as a surprise gift for a family member currently on a girly weekend in Blackpool. This member of staff helped professionally, and reassured me that he would be able to resolve the problem and their afternoon tea could go ahead. Thank you so much for saving the day, and ensuring that the afternoon tea went ahead smoothly! Food looked great!

Really expensive. Felt ripped off as we watched chef take everything out of freezer.could have gone to iceland ! Had Eton mess couldnt find meringue as described on menu.went to Harry Ramsdens many years ago was all fresh.Dont bother total rip off.

The restaurant was not busy at all and we were made to feel very welcome by the two ladies on duty. We ordered using the app and food arrived quickly. Very tasty food and we all cleared our plates. Even the baby in our party tucked in. Many thanks.

Spoilt this place . Was once a busy restaurant, since updated decor the prices have gone up massively such a shame.

My family and I visited Harry Ramsdens Blackpool this afternoon as we had the Afternoon Tea booked. From the moment we walked in the service we received was fantastic. Joel didn't just serve us, he was friendly and he made our visit brilliant up until the moment we left. We truly received 5 star treatment! Really glad we chose Harry Ramsdens today for our tea.

We had a buy a gift afternoon tea, what a great selection of food including Fried frickle 1st time we'd tried it they were great and dessert was lovely 😋, the atmosphere was great and the decor lovely I would recommend this place Tom and Nacoya were very attentive and lovely to talk too.

Birthday lunch out at the branch below Blackpool Tower. Very nice fish and chips, washed down with a good sized pot of tea. All served up by the lovely Debbie. Friendly, helpful and courteous. A credit to establishment.

Our whole visit from start to finish was lovely, the atmosphere was relaxing and the booths were beautiful, we loved getting to sit in one of the booths, the food was just the right amount and was fantastic and of course the lovely Debbie who showed us to our table, took our order and looked after us through our visit was absolutely wonderful! So down to earth and lovely and she deserves so much praise, thank you Debbie.

Visited this iconic Fish & Chips restaurant located in Blackpool Tower and sampled their Afternoon Tea with a chippy twist. Their version has a mix of mini fish burgers, fishcakes, battered sausages, panko crusted gherkins with mushy peas + curry sauce, onion rings, chips, banana fritters with biscoff sauce and bread & butter pudding. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of savoury and sweet options which had a nice balance of flavours, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked plus good portion sizes. Cosy ambiance, hearty food and accomodating staff (our server Tom was very attentive), overall a great experience. Harry Ramsden’s has been serving up World Famous Fish & Chips for over 90 years (since 1928) so we can only expect the best from them. They have been dishing it up at fab locations across the country including their 420-seater restaurant in Bournemouth which is one of the largest in the world.

The food was so tasty and delicious, great atmosphere, our experience was made even better by our lovely server Chanel. Will definitely be back again.

I was served by Nacoya it was brilliant, she was really polite and gave a excellent service, my food was piping hot and was very to arrive

Service was impeccable. You don't often get service as good as this these days so it was much appreciated. This was on Sunday 7/4/24 in the afternoon, unfortunately did not get the servers name. Food all good. Enjoyed the veggie halloumi burger. Food decently priced. Would recommemd.

Had afternoon tea. A bit greasy the fishcake would have liked more nice fish in the meal somehow. Service great.

Food excellent as usual. Kids loved it as all freshly prepared. Over 60 meal good value and bread and butter pud is Fab. Shout out to Kasia she was very attentive and good sense of humour.

Had the afternoon tea in Blackpool. Food was absolutely superb. Well worth the money. Service very good and the place was very clean and tidy. I am very critical of food outlets and HR was simply excellent. I would certainly recommend the afternoon tea at Blackpool.
