Dropped in here Easter weekend evening for drinks ….partner was really ill after drinking Guinness here. Be. Cautious drinking here as don’t feel the beers and pipes etc are looked after properly. He was really ill from the Guiness here.
Horrible customer service won’t be back.
myself and a friend had went to siloth for a ice cream to find the shop was shut so we came here instead and it was a wasted journey, went in and the place is dated, went over the the ice cream section and the selection wasn’t that great.. the old man behind the counter had an attitude problem and seemed rude to both of us, when my friend asked for sauce and sprinkles he handed her a pot with sprinkles and sauce separate for her to put on her self, I'm surprised he didn’t ask her to get behind the counter and put the ice cream in the cone her self. Then we had both got back to the car and put the sprinkles and sauce on we started to eat them. The ice cream was flavourless and the cones were soft and weren’t very enjoyable.
Terrible, young kids on the floor that don’t care, ordered at 5 pm for 6pm pickup to be ready at 6:45, they expect you to stand and wait forever.
When I queried I was simply made out to be argumentative when all I was going was asking where our order was,
No understanding in timings and what they can manage, they just expect you to stand there all night.
Terrible and we won’t be returning or won’t be recommending
I have recently visited this Establishment Twice and received Disgusting , Dry ,Salty and just awful.
Speedy Wrap
Garlic Mushrooms
Cheeseburger
Donner Wrap
They only take cash which is very bazzar in 2024 don't waste your hard earned money here the service was crap aswell will definitely not be returning.
Order took over an hour and a half to arrive. Food cold and frozen chips. Staff rude when calling for an update on the whereabouts of our order.
Absolutely awful avoid.
This was the worst Takeaway I have had. The food hub system didn't place a full order and I Indeed shish kebab and git beef instead of lamb, it was disgusting, I threw it all in the bin!
Ordered Senior roast beef Sunday lunch with roast potatoes instead of mash or boiled.
When it arrived there was one small roast potato, frozen peas, frozen sprouts and soggy carrot sticks. Roast beef was Ok, stuffing was tasteless and Yorkshire pudding was acceptable. Really disappointed as have visited in the past and enjoyed.
It's OK & what you'd expect from a Chinese. The portions are massive & to be honest I'd rather have smaller ones with better quality ingredients. The main compliment I have is how fatty & greasy everything was. I mean the chowmain was shiny & there was more fat than duck. I couldn't really recommend it as a high quality takeaway, the price is rather on the expensive side too.
Couldn't rate this zero so gave one star - never encountered more ignorant, unhelpful and rude staff in my life. Arrived at 11:55 from breakfast, the bartender (skinny lad with cropped brown hair, don't know or care what his name is) just looked at us dead-eyed when we got to the bar, didn't greet or ask what he can get us, and snapped "I need a table number" when we asked for two large breakfasts.
Went and got a table number and came back to the bar and was stuck behind someone ordering a pint of Wainwrights - the beer had soured so he picked another, same again with the Doom Bar tap so picked another.
By the time he had been served it was bang on noon which is when they stopped serving so the skinny idiot gleefully said "we stop serving breakfast at 12" - when I mentioned he could clearly see I was next in line before noon and had already expressed intent to get breakfasts he just repeated himself, despite it not being our fault that TWO of their beers had soured making it take longer for the man in front to get served.
He did us a favour in the long run though as on our way out two tables were complaining of undercooked bacon and slimy mushrooms, and we ended up going to Main Street and eating at The Golden Lion which was really good food and the staff were lovely. Don't waste your time and money on this utter waste of what could be a beautiful building in a great market town.
I enjoyed my lunch at Mrs Wilson's. It's a very impressive room, but still feel welcoming and comfy. The manager and waitresses were all polite and friendly. I had a "half and half" of soup (tomato & basil) and toasted sandwich (mozarella & pesto), which were very nice, Then a very good decaff coffee.
Stopped off here today for a quick bite to eat while travelling. Arrived at 2.30 - Very poor choice of food: ie sandwiches, hot counter and pasties - considering it doesn’t close till 6pm, anyone would think they were closing in the next 5 minutes! Too much trouble for female staff member to be bothered - bordering being down right rude to be honest. Not the usual standard of service we get from Greggs - very disappointing. Will not use this branch again! As we sat eating our cold, dry gougons (with the only choice of dip being mayo) apparently they didn’t have any bbq dip!! And our cold corned beef pasties - as they had no steak bakes and very little else on offer, there were several other people looked what was available and went to subway next door. They lost a lot of custom just in the 10 minutes we were there! Need some customer services training for sure and to keep their counters stocked with more than 2 sandwiches and half a dozen cold pasties.
