I should have walked out as soon as I walked in when you look at the front of this place. The food was very poor quality with very little effort put into it.

Got some food from foodhub, absolutely spot on

Arrived on time and there was a lot for the price paid! Curry sauce wasn't for me, but that's just my taste!

I would give 0 stars if I could, duck was just fat, curry was like water and tasted disgusting, omelette was ridiculously greasy along with the chips...the lot went in the bin, worse Chinese I've ever had! Waste of £30 DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE 🤢

Wasn't happy at all as we ordered a salt and pepper munchy box and it as came with no salt and pepper on at all man yack

Ordered 1/4 duck and pancakes, I've had it a few times and it's been lovely, but tonight it was nothing but grizzle and fat, very disappointed hopefully it's just been a one off but it's definitely put me off ordering the such again

Disappointing. Didn't notice that most of the reviews were nearly a year old. Ordered online and was quoted 45-60 minutes for delivery. Turned up about 75 minutes later, which would've been bearable had the food been decent but it was barely average: chicken balls were okay but the sweet and sour sauce was very watery. Kung Po chicken was spicy, but again the sauce was thin and a bit bland and the chicken pieces were tough and didn't taste very good with the exception of one or two bits. Prawn crackers were decent enough but won't be ordering again. New Peking Express is better despite the lower rating on Google, wish we'd stuck to our regular.

Terrible, went in for a meal as it says it's a restaurant to be greeted by kids playing , toys everywhere all over the counter and staff using the restaurant as a store room and lounge.

The food is always good I accept this but I get overcharged every single time by the delivery man even after confirming the price. I do ask for mor spice and that never happens but it's the quoted price vs the delivery man price that's knocking this down

Orders chicken cow mein extra bean sprouts and chips, person taking the order miss heard me asking for portion of chips but when I called they were brilliant and brought the chips straight away. will definately order again, very tasty food

Go to regnant court regularly but the last few have been poor had one tonight and decided to try something different went for the Munchy box sounded good but come in a pizza box with everything just chucked in could not eat it like this so split it up on doing so 4 bits of chicken lots of chewy dried chicken about 4 portions of chips to fill the box 3 spring rolls tasteless and full of water and for £14.50 a absolute joke want be back 🤬🤬🤬

I don't like giving poor reviews 😕 regent court was recommended by a friend, we don't do takeaways very often so thought we would give regent a try. We waited 1hr 45 minutes for our delivery but thought if it's good then will be worth it. I had chicken curry which whilst tasty was only luke warm and contained diced chicken not fresh chicken. My wife had chicken and ham egg fried rice with sweet and sour sauce. The chicken seemed different from mine but the ham was either out of a packet or a tin. All very disappointing and unfortunately we won't repeat the experience which is a great shame. Sorry for the review but It was an honest opinion.

Could do with more prawns in king prawn chow main but the beef mushroom oinion and gravy was gougous. Plus all the extras delivery was early and price was good will deffinatly be ordering again. Job well done :)

Very good food! I have worked in Chinese Takeaways for pretty much my entire life and I believe this one matches my expectations on standards. Honestly was blown away by how nice it was. The service was excellent also. Would recommend this all day if you're in the area.

Called here on sunday.had phoned order in and I admit I was about 20 minutes late on collection.rather than be pleased I turned up to pay and take food the man who met me was so rude and miserable just held out food no attempt to speak took money brought change not a word of any sort .very rude.food was not very good 5, prawns in curry.been here before but won't be back.

Ordered tonight, turned up cold. Missing items off order. Sauces were like water and food very bland. Tried calling over 25 times but number was constantly busy. Would not recommend at all.

Well, after after usual, and brilliant Chinese is closed, we decided to give this one a try. Wish I’d done without and gone hungry. The food was barely warm, and I’ve never tasted so much salt in my life. My meal went in the bin, and I ended up eating chips and fried rice, both lukewarm. My wife’s meal wasn’t any better. Needless to say we will never go back. Given the choice of going hungry or going here, I’d go hungry!!

How this place got 4.9 rating is beyond me , it is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Absolutely rotten 👎👎👎

When it's from Regent Court!! Sooo disappointed with this meal. Ok perhaps i can't say the chicken wasn't chicken, but it was poor to say the least. I got lemon chicken and the batter was far too thick and when the sauce was poured over it was just a soggy mess. My partner got chicken curry, how can a chinese restaurant make a mess of a chicken curry? But somehow they managed it. I would not go back and wouldn't recommend it.

We were a group of 11 children and adults wine we ordered off the menu they didn't have and largers on menu they didn't have. The desserts we ordered off the menu they didn't have. Despite this the food was tasty and plentiful. We were not charged for our second choice desserts. Found it quiet expensive when not ordering the banquet food. The one and only waitress was very polite and helpful. I would only recommend if you want a basic no frills meal.

First time to Workington and was looking for somewhere to eat. Choice in town seems to be poor so we ended up here at Regent court. We won't be going back albeit cheap the table cloth was covered in the previous dinners rice and sauce stains. Also the fishing rod propped up on the table next to me and the clothes on the back of a dining chair gave an unwelcoming informal feel. Also the owners child playing on his laptop in the middle of the restaurant added to the overall depresssing atmosphere. Place was dirty and in need of an update we won't be going back. Also just read a hygiene rating of 1. Oh dear!....... But the waitress was friendly.

Absolutely disgusting, myself and my wife went here for a meal a few weeks ago, the beer was flat and so was the coke, when we requested fro something with a little more fizz we got the same, the food was bland and full of salt, the restaurant itself is dated, and has no vibe it looks dirty and un hygienic, the waitress wasn't helpful and was running off to play on bingo via a laptop computer, altogether absolutely poo.

Been here on and off as a change but we order the same dish and nearly every time it is different. Would really help if you got want you ask for. Still its always a nice meal.

Después de un desliz con alguna carne de res en un plato vegetariano en otra para llevar chino, yo y unos amigos decidimos pedir desde aquí. No está mal, no me malinterpretéis, pero no es el mejor un workington chino tiene para ofrecer. Las patatas fritas y eran tibio y muy pasada, pero nuestros platos estaban bien. supongo que eso es lo que resume este lugar realmente- tibio. Era nuestro último recurso, que suena realmente ofensivos, pero solemos ir a otra para llevar que es mejor calidad que éste. No he comido en el restaurante, así que no puedo comentar sobre eso.

Fast delivery service, excellent phone manner and never had a mistaken order. Food always arrives piping hot and is always good, recommended if you fancy a chinese.

El servicio era pobre y parecían llegar irratated por el hecho que no habíamos pedido tras 3 minutos, no importa pero éramos los únicos. La comida era sosa y sosa, no lo recomiendo pero he oído que llevar no está mal.

Food was appaling!! No idea what they gave us and tried to call it meat. Chicken was certainly not chicken..or the pork. Never ever reorder from this establishment.

Friendly service and the food was delicious. Agreed there is no atmosphere, we were the only people in and the waiter moves the portable heater to your table to keep you warm, but personaly I can't fault this place for quality, service and price.
