Absolute joke got the whole order wrong payed £75 won’t ever be going back shocking customer service and the food was awful

We had a take away, I rang the order in and collected it at the correct time. The girl went through the order as she passed it over and I paid. When I got home the curry sauce was missing, the fried rice was boiled , the satay dish wasn’t satay and was more like a tasteless black bean dish. They gave us 2 portions of chips when we asked for one. The whole meal was just a disappointment. Paid £56.50 and felt totally ripped off.

Very crispy chicken balls which was over done and inedible and salt and pepper chicken more like crispy over cooked chicken again was not editable .. Chow mein didn’t taste like chow mein should taste. Just watery Avoid

Called in for a takeaway on Sunday night and ordered salt and pepper chicken. Travelled home and opened it up to find shrivelled up bone dry tiny strips of chicken which were inedible absolutely disgusting!!! The worst salt and pepper chicken I’ve ever seen in my life. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Absolutely useless girl on the phone , incredibly rude & blunt. Failed to mention that it was cash only so drove to collect my order and had to go without as she stated “it’s only cash” &” what do you want me to do about it”

Lovely meals tonight. Two vegetarian meals with a different selection of vegetables in each and an excellent meat dish. Awesome salt and pepper chips too!! Thank you

We were staying with friends close by and ordered a variety of dishes, we ordered 1 hour before closing time. When I arrived the place was very clean and the two staff that I met where super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was absolutely delicious not a fault could be given and we will definitely use them again when back visiting.

Not sure why their are negative reviews. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes good. If you want gourmet restaurant food then go to a big city China Town. I for one would visit again for a value for money takeaway !

We ordered chicken rice and curry sauce, and breast of chicken chow mein which turned out to be pork, as I can not stand pork, I called them and they denied that it was pork, they don't know difference between their mets or was it PORK!!!!?????

We were looking for a Chinese restaurant in Carlisle on a Monday night - couldn't find one so looked further a field. Called Pearl Palace and they said yes their restaurant was open, yes they had high chairs. Great! So we drove to Wigton with the family to get there and they don't have high chairs. It's okay we will manage we went back to the car to get the pram. They then came to take drinks orders - they only had tap water!! I was furious we had two small children very hungry by this point but we were leaving I said they should have explained all this on the phone rather than lying and making us drive all that way for no reason. I said could we take some prawn crackers to pacify the children and she yes for £1.50!!! Disgusting behaviour, they do not deserve anyone's money!

More of a takeaway than a restaurant although you can eat in there if you like but for me would be fairly atmospheless. And you would be the only people eating in there. Food tastes good and is average for a Chinese. On time takeaway... always get the order right. In line with chinese prices. Spicy spring rolls are nice.

We were staying nearby on holiday and used this place for our final night.... the food was really good, very fresh and tasty. The only downside is finding somewhere to park!

Visited the takeaway on a Saturday the shop was small but u can see your meal being cooked The meal was freshly prepared and can safely say their Lemon chicken was the best tasted along with my husbands curry source. The portions are ample and come in plastic containers that can be resealed. The price was bet reasonable

Ordered a take away took a while but was hot and tasted ok when we eventually got it , small portions though

He tenido llevar desde aquí, tardaron 45 minutos y no valía la pena la espera. 15 minutos después de que pedimos y pagamos, clientes en la zona llegó 15 minutos más tarde consiguieron su comida y finalmente 15 minutos después de que me dieron la mía - no hubo disculpas por el tiempo tomado. De alguna manera, que me dio la impresión de que valoraban los clientes, sentaron/restaurante. Llamé para reservar recientemente, pero después de que dijo uno de los otros para llevar estaban cerrados, que sería ocupado, siendo dictados a qué hora podía ir a una mesa de cuatro y los otros comentarios que pude ver que estaba perdiendo mi tiempo.

30 minute wait for slightly warm food. I ordered Hong Kong style chicken to share between 2 kids. It contained 7 small pieces of chicken , I called to compliance the the girl that answered the phone said 'yeah that's right, theirs nothing I can do about it' no apology nothing. Going further on to the other meals again very little meat all the meals were bulked up with veg. Never used to be this way very disappointed won't be back.

Fuimos allí durante unas vacaciones recientes a cerca de Anthorn, aunque parece ser principalmente una comida para llevar, tiene una pequeña zona para las personas que quieren comer. La comida era de buena calidad y se sirve rápidamente. El personal era atento pero no demasiado, una experiencia muy agradable.

The menu is big with a wide range of dishes including thia meals. The portions are reasonable and the prices to match. Would recommend.

Wanted to dine in but was turned down and they only accept takeaway. I guess they are probably short of staff and only has resources to cater for takeaway. Nevertheless the food is reasonably delicious.

Order here regularly, food always fine, just on two occasions an item was missing which is very annoying especially when it's a sauce si you have to eat a dry meal.

It's a takeaway and restaurant - most business seems to be takeaway. Food decent enough and reasonably priced. Service friendly, but not always accurate... if you are ordering vegetarian then make sure it hasn't got meat in it BEFORE you take it home!Have never eaten in, but it seems reasonable - in fact it's the only chinese eat-in option in Wigton

Unfortunately we cannot comment on the food as we were told it wasn't possible for us to sit in. Empty restaurant and turned away. Very disappointed.

We went on NYE for a chinese takeaway, service was alittle slow, but staff was great and once we got the meal home it was delicious! We were more than happy than when we went to the other one in Wigton. We will be back! We had peking spare ribs, which had plenty of meat on them!Prawn toast, which was delicious and fresh,King Prawn sweet and sour, Special fried rice and mixed meat Hong Kong style sweet and sour all were delicious!

We opted to sit in because I had taken unwell.I was told by my partner the food was amazing, he ordered salt & pepper crispy chicken for the first time. The weather was really bad & the young girl serving, couldn't have done more to help get our food quickly & try to get us a taxi, she even rang her dad to pick us up. Excellent customer service. The restaurant came highly recommended

Great menu, unfortunately the take away collection service is really slow but this is due to the popularity of the place and then cannot turn orders around quickly. Lovely food

Most delicious Chinese food! No matter how hard I try I have never found another Chinese with such lovely food! There can be a long wait for food but surely that just proves how freshly made it is! Don't let the bad reviews put you off it truly is one in a million!

This is primarily a takeaway. But there is a small restaurant in what appears to have been a wide corridor leading to the rear / kitchens. The review relates to the restaurant.The staff are very pleasant - the food and ambience less so. Our egg fried rice was lukewarm and served on cold plates. The chicken balls were like rocks and virtually inedible. The beef / cashew nuts were more palatable but I have had (much) better. Not a good experience. Hopefully the takeaway side is better.

Put in huge order for collection the girl said pick up in 25 minutes. Went down after 25 minutes and had to stand and wait another 35 minutes for it to be ready, no apology for the wait. Prawn crackers were soggy like they d been made days earlier. Chicken balls like rubber balls.

Fried rice soggy, chicken bland, prawn crackers tasted like they had been hanging round for days ... Soft and chewy.Not worth the effort in my view.

We stopped at the Pearl Palace for a bite and wasn't sure what to expect as have read a few bad reviews. We were pleasantly surprised to enjoy friendly service and good food (with no unreasonable waiting time, apart from what you'd expect it to take to cook a Chinese meal). Would definitely use this restaurant again and would recommend it - you need to pre-book on a Wednesday though.

The food is always decent here, but you don't always get what you ordered and paid for and my record is 3hours waiting for an order, that is not a lie..........which sort of puts me off ordering chinese really, but if you do get your order in the same day and its all there, you will enjoy iy!

Turned up to order food and was a 45 minute wait, as it was a 30 minute drive from where we were staying we had to keep ourselves busy until it was ready. Not sure if it was so busy because of the wigton carnival that was happening that day. Lovey food though, don't normally rate any Chinese compared to the couple I use back home. Was very nice an worth the 45 minute wait and the hour drive. Went during happy hour and was very cheap.

Order takeaways all the time from the Pearl Palace in Wigton. Really great food and reasonably priced, definately the best chinese take-out in Wigton.

I've been here a number of times and although very quiet, the food is amazing. My friend and I often have a couple of bottles of wine with our meal and after the firs, the staff know which we are drinking and fetch over the correct one - great staff! The price of meals is fair, and you get a lot for what you order. Although there is no actual car park you aren't far from water street which is a 5minute walk.

Always use this takeaway if I want to have a takeaway. Always good service and lovely food! It is good value for money and always been clean enough when I have been in.

We tried Pearl Palace whilst staying near Wigton.We had wanted to eat in the restaurant but found on arrival that it formed part of a busy takeaway and seems like an afterthought.It wasnt possible to have a pleasant atmosphere for having a meal as the only seperation from the takeaway was with a child gate !The only staff we saw were two younds girls who were polite but had to keep running up and down past the seating to get takeaway orders. They said we would have a long wait for our food as there was only one chef on. This along with the loud pop music being played meant that we decided not to eat in and got a takeaway instead !Not impressed.
