The best restaurants in Allerdale North West

Despite the Latin name, I’d guess that this takeaway is more Turkish in origin than Mexican or Spanish. But that doesn’t matter a jot. What matters is the quality of the food and I must say that our chicken kebab with salad and mixed sauces was fantastic. It was perfectly cooked, substantial and delicious. Service was friendly and quick. This was our first visit here and we will certainly use it again when next in Cockermouth.

Food, staff, setting all excellent. The lemon posset is to die for. Great location close to high street. Very reasonably priced.

We visited this Greggs today for a couple of pasties and coffees.The manager was serving on her own , with a queue out of the door.She was fabulous, full of chat and humour, upselling and recommending the app. Great work.

Excellent customer service! Delicious food! Food was ready on time and served piping hot. Helped carry food to the car. The dips were lovely and salad was super fresh.

I recently visited Bismillah Balti and was truly impressed! The restaurant has a comfortable, five-star hotel-like atmosphere, with sofas to relax while waiting for your order. The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, well-cooked, and served quickly. It’s also halal, perfect for Muslims looking for a halal meal. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal at an unbeatable price. 10/10!

Great hotel right in the heart of the town. Rooms were great, and a good, hearty breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.

Best pizza and best kebabs in Keswick

Best and cleanest Chinese Takeway . Everything is cooked fresh and to order . Always busy and sometimes a bit of a wait if you want a delivery but can't be helped . Staff are fab too

The food from this takeaway is the best in Workington and the service is always 10/10. The kebabs are fresh and delicious. The pizzas are also great.

I orderd my delivery at 7:43pm and it said it would be an hour and still had not arrived at 9:38 we were still waiting at 10 we ended up just cancelling our order and ordering else where

Rough as f#*k. Avoid unless your a local looking to hand over your dole to get smashed and or fight. Pretty sure people don't even try and use the urinals, they just p*#s in the middle of the room (toilets).

Fabulous! We got a brilliant chicken kebab - one of the best I've had. Great sauce n salad too. Hubs got hslf pound cheese burger. Very tasty. Highly recommend. Thanks
