First time ordering on a friends recommendation. The food was absolutely beautiful, hot, tasty, and aromatic with substantial sized portions! We all had a different main dish, and all four of us agreed how lovely the food was. I had the king prawn puri as a starter, and it was, by far, the best one I have ever had ( and I've had a few in my time!). Not going to lie, we were a little sceptical having read some of the negative reviews, however, when you read them fully, it would seem that most centre around delivery times and food arriving cold. I can not comment on this as we collected ours. We will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended.

Best curry house in town and we've tried them all. We order weekly and we've never had a bad meal. Garlic nan 😋

Sign outside says open until 11pm. Went in at 10.40pm only to be met by a very blunt old man saying, "No closed!" and making hand signals to leave. I won't be going back!

Ordered At 6:30pm. Came at 9. Food was absolutely shocking, was expecting a a usual Indian but instead got a pile of mud on my plate. Naan was doughy, curry was like sewage water and my curry dip didn't come. I got a message at half past 7 saying 'Sorry for delay, too many order'. Would not recommend would expect better than this.

After failing to find a restaurant that was open we decided on a takeaway to take back to hotel. When we returned to collect our meal the owners had plates , napkins and cutlery for us and invited us to eat on there premises. The food was lovely, and their hospitality was excellent. Very kind of this lovely family. Thank you. X

Chicken tikka balti ask for madras hot. They always ignore my request and make it very mild to the point the only thing that has flavour is the marinated chicken which isn't the best either tbh. Onion bhaji is just a solid lump. This used to be the best Indian in town but over the last couple of years om my opinion has gone downhill.

Ordered my order through foodhub ordering a chicken Tikka, 2 naans, samosa and vegetable rice which came out to £24.10. After I placed my order I rang the takeaway to add chips onto the order. A very very young boy answered the phone singing the name of the takeaway, I then asked for chips to be added onto my order, he then proceeded to say that I didn't order chips, after about 15 seconds of explaining that I wasn't chips added on not taken off he then went back and told the staff. I then waited for the food. The food came and the kid who was about 7-8 years old was at the door (Throughout my whole interaction I didn't come in contact with one adult member of staff) saying my order was £24.10, I handed him the exact amount, he then counted it and then said it was £27.10 which I then have him the extra £3. I dished out and started to eat. They got my curry order wrong and the curry I was given was bland and disgusting, the samosas had what felt like a vegetable paste in them and the cheese in my garlic cheese Naan wasn't great at all either. Personally I wouldn't recommend this takeaway at all to anyone.

Little girl taking order over phone mix the order up to be told we would have to wait 1 and ahalf for the meal they mixed up on salad and sauses missing and came to 42.50 for 2 meals rice chips and 3 nan all the food was cold and dry meat in it definitely wouldn't go back

Food took ages to arrive and when it did, my meal was missing. I called up and I got told, "She said she put it in the bag." No idea who 'She' is but she was mistaken. I then had another wait until I finally got my main dish. I don't think I'll hurry back any time soon. There was a young delivery boy who was working hard and deffo earned his pennies tonight, he was lovely and polite.

use this restaurant all the time .Totally dissapointed madras was well below parr, and the lamb byriani was disgusting hard stale lamb and the veg was sour .....never again would rather starve.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews but this is the worst not just Indian but any food we had in our entire life… we have ordered so many varieties and tried to see at least we have one good thing to eat but the food was so horrible no one wants to have a second bite.. Sadly we have to dump everything in the bin and went for a toast in our holiday night… never recommend to anyone!!!

This is the worst I have experienced the food arrived and was splattered all over the bag and wen I complained they just send to get a refund of just eat that would not be back in my bank for a weak staff were rood and the delivery driver was an idiot

Food arrived 20 minutes earlier than requested. Ordered a chicken korma thinking it couldn’t go badly. Arrived cold and clearly fresh out the freezer as sauce was split and watery. Kebab for starter was tough and dry. Rice was warm though, that’s a bonus. Won’t be back

My food was ordered at 19.50 with a delivery time of 20.50 at the latest. My food didn’t arrive until 21.20. No communication from the restaurant. The food was lovely but I won’t order for delivery again

Stopped ordering from Agra some months ago as food was poor but couldn't fault tonights meals spot on.

Me and my partner order from agra weekly and it never fails. Food is beautiful, delivered in reasonable time. Tried other Indians when we've been away and nowhere comes close to agra.

Doesn't look the most inviting from outside but the food is definitely the best Bangladeshi cuisine in the area in my humble opinion

No apology was given but I guess the delivery driver doesn't always know when delivery is late.

First time trying the food was pretty tasty and very value for money.

Disgraceful excuse from restaurant staff, saying too busy to fulfill order on time! I have never had such poor service from a restaurant, they should not have accepted our order if they were aware of problems. I got a text stating it was on it's way, when in fact it hadn't even been started on. Called twice to be told that no one knew how to give a refund. Dreadful.

Took 2.5 hours to deliver. When contacted after 1 hour 45 we were told 'another half an hour, sorry too many order'. They shouldn't accept the order.

Took 3 hours to deliver. We called after 1.45 and were told 'sorry too many order'. We were sent a text update saying it was on its way, and could confirm after calling that this was nowhere near the case.

Stating that the food has been delivered but still not arrived and shocking service from start to finish and this is not the first time this has happened when ordering food from them.

Got the same order a few weeks back and was perfect, Sad to say this time round was not the case, The Chicken Tikka Masala tasted completely different, The chicken was tough, burnt tasting, way over cooked, The masala sauce was completely unlike previously, it was disgusting and inedible, The garlic naan was cold, The Pilau rice was more plain boiled rice than pilau. Will not be ordering from them again and cannot recommend. There's obviously a reason my food was delivered way quicker than expected , It was rushed and no care taken over the quality.

Ordered from here a few times and unlike some of the Indians I’ve had it’s full of taste and the meats spot on. Other Indians are just full of dye and chilli. Can’t fault, on time every order. Can’t go anywhere else now. Definitely order from here you won’t be disappointed. Well done!

Over three hours late. The food wasn’t what I ordered and was cold. No point in contacting them because they hang up if it’s about an order. I called three times during the three hours it was supposed to have been delivered and got told it’s on the way every time. Finally arrived and it is the wrong meal. I understand it’s New Year’s Eve, but tell someone it’ll be several hours so they can look else where. Never again!

I had to go collect myself after being told several times on the phone it would be another half hour. This happened a couple times. They then rang me back and told me they were talking about the wrong order and hadn’t actually even started cooking mine by that time. I eventually had to give in and go collect it myself. The food was alright I guess, but was difficult to enjoy after such a miserable experience with the delivery.

I never review anywhere, but I am due to the fact I had phoned Agra about the food and the person on the phone wasn’t interested in the slightest. We’ve ordered from here loads of times with no problems at all, I ordered chicken tikka jalfrezi and partner ordered chicken dansak. As soon as we started eating it both of us said the chicken tasted funny, he carried on eating his (he’s a pig 🤣) but I couldn’t, the texture and taste of chicken was vile. I phoned up and explained we’d ordered many times before with no problems but this time the chicken didn’t taste right and the texture wasn’t like chicken, it was gooey and rubbery. All I got was “we haven’t changed anything, I don’t know” so I said okay that’s fine but there’s something wrong with the chicken and all I got was “I don’t know, I can’t help” and put the phone down. I personally won’t be ordering from here from now on. Really disappointed.

Brilliant food. One of the only Indian takeaways in the area I’ll go to. Beautiful. Swapped my Bombay potato’s out for another naan bread even though I only really wanted a pashwari instead of a plain. So they did more than required and expected. Can’t fault them. Can’t wait to re order.

HORRENDOUS Ordered food via Just Eat. Arrived 90 minutes late - cold. Phoned them 3 times. They were obviously busy and couldn’t handle the work load. Phoned to speak to manager. He was unavailable. Still waiting for him to phone back. Paid £30. Got rubbish. NEVER EVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN.

I am absolutely disgusted tonight ....my son ordered a curry at 6.20pm and it has just came at 9pm and it is stone cold!!!!! He has phoned 5 times inbetween these times to be told his food is on the way ,I appreciate places are very busy especially at this time of year however,upon phoning I was left on hold for 6 minutes and then the phone was put down on me ,I rang again to be told any complaints don't bother coming back....well believe me I will not be back I do not usually put negative reviews on any small business but tonight I feel I must due to the rudeness of the owner and the way he spoke to the girl who was on the phone to me ,who may I say was very nice.... not like her boss!!!!!

Used many times and never had an issue, would recommend the butter chicken and the lamb madras. Owner is also very friendly and if not to busy will have a chat with you when serving.

Had some lovely meals from here lately. In particular chicken tikka saagwala and chicken tikka vindaloo. Keema pilau and peshwari naans are also very nice options. Call early on busy nights as delivery can take up to an hour or more

Food was ok, not very hot but edible. Took 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive. Rung to query where delivery was and staff were pleasant but no apology or reason given for delay so unlikely to order again.

Only giving 3 stars for this particular order. I got The lamb Tikka Masala and my goodness the lamb was so tough and rubbery it actually started hurting my teeth to eat. The sauce was tasty and the order was delivered quickly and piping hot. But something like what I recieved just wasnt on. Meat i wouldn't give to my dog without fear of it choking! Shame because everything else was good. Do not think I will be ordering from again. Possibly if its not a lamb dish! lol

ordered food and was given a 1 hour delivery time, the delivery was then 45 minutes late and the food was cold and was missing 3 items. so I waited 1 hour 45 minutes to get half my food order cold.

No salad with the starters no onion salad except for the one I ordered. Will not use again. Expected one salad and one sauce per starter but got one sauce and one salad per whole order. Expensive for what actually arrived

Part of the order was missing and when we called we were informed it would be sent out soon but nothing came. Called back and was told by an extremely rude and argumentative man to just call just eat to complain. No refund for what we did not get. my tandoori chicken 'half spring chicken' was actually just 2 chicken legs. usually when ordering this from a takeaway I have the breast & the dog gets the leg.. tonight: happy dog - hungry customer (don't like leg). won't order again. They should specify if you're getting the bottom 'half' of the chicken.

Still waiting after nearly 2 hours after placing my order. After trying 3 times to ring they finally answered, then put on hold for 5 minutes to be told it will be delivered in 15 minutes time. Put 1 star for taste as all iI've had while I've been waiting is cans of dark fruits. This is the worst Indian takeaway I've ever had. It took a ridiculous two hours to arrive, two dishes were completely wrong, it's the most oil I've ever seen floating on top of a curry and the aubergines in my bhaji dish were so undercooked I didn't eat any of it. On top of that my "bombay potato" dish had three measley chucks of potato swimming in a midst of oil and mytery sauce. Monumental waste of money. Avoid at all costs.

Brilliant tasty curries, Chicken Madras and Vindaloo. Although only negative was no potatoe in the Vindaloo this time. Would be nice to have consistency when ordering.
