Food is great and they are always really friendly

Made a last minute booking here following a day out en route home for a late dinner last Saturday night and glad we did! The staff were all really nice and welcoming, making suggestions on what to order and all of us enjoyed the food, and it was reasonably priced. We ordered a shared platter btw us to start, this was standard satay chicken, spring rolls etc. The highlight was the mains, we all enjoyed different dishes, I personally had the chicken green curry with coconut rice which was nicely spiced and flavoured. We ended up the last table in but weren’t rushed out etc. and I’d return if passing again for a meal 👍

We booked a table for Rooftop and I can totally recommend this place. Food, amazing, drinks amazing and the view was quite nice. Of course, the biggest plus for us was that they are doggie friendly.

Great little cafe. Free parking, picnic benches and a lovely walk.

Stayed here in car park in our camper for the Night as it was on an app called park4night. Have read a lot of reviews and disagree with a lot of them and have to give my true reflection as bad reviews can really do harm to someone’s business if they don’t get what they desire!! Like I said stayed one night, brilliant park up. Owners..brilliant! Restaurant..could do with an update to be honest I won’t lie however…food!!!!!! Wow just wow! Someone has wrote “came out of a tin” what an insult!! In no way shape or form did any of mine or my wife’s food come out of a tin. This probably sounds a bit much but I/we have never eaten food of this kind of quality in our lives! I will enclose a picture! And portion size wow!! That’s a bit of me! And we also had our young daughter with us too and was recommended by the owner just to share with her and not to order something separate. How right he was! So in that respect he had the decency to tell us this rather than let us spend more money in “his” restaurant which I thought was very good. So it’s a thumbs up from us!! People please do try and take peoples reviews with a pinch of salt. Again many thanks to the owners for letting us stay.. free of charge we might add Thankyou

Excellent cafe aimed at cyclists. Safe bike parking and good food. Their coffee is especially fine, (as many cyclist would expect).

Great place for that intimate evening meal or family special occasion. Weekend in the summer they have an out door area serving pitza, chips and other snacks with a play area for the children great wines and beer selections.

We went for Sunday roast dinner, the food was first class, great service and good atmosphere.

We come once a year to the Village of Kirby Lonsdale. Platos although a restaurant/bar have amazing rooms which are always up to standard and they also take dogs.... sadly this was our first time without the dog. The food was lovely as usual and service was great too.

Really disappointed tonight. Expensive takeaway and fell far below the usual standard. Won't be risking it again.
