Visited here before going to the theatre. We'd chosen it based on the very positive reviews. We were not disappointed! The staff were so friendly; nothing was too much trouble. Our gyros were cooked with fresh ingredients. The food was hot and extremely tasty. While we "sat in" to eat our meal we witnessed a steady flow of business; this in itself shows what a great reputation this cafe has. The baklava was to die for; the best we've tried. We will most definitely be back. Glad we've found Taste of Greece.

Where to start! Booked table online no email confirmation so tried ringing but just a recorded message. We arrived via the back door from the car park passing an open door to the kitchen and saw a heap of Yorkshire Puddings on a shelf open to the elements. Relieved to have a table we settled in and ordered our drinks one of which arrived incorrectly. Ordered two turkey dinners minus the 'yorkies' !! It came rather quickly which in itself seemed odd. It was below average for the cost. We then ordered desserts, sticky toffee pudding with custard and a lemon meringue pie. These were not good and obviously bought in. Expressing our disappointment staff weren't interested even though they had asked our opinion. We decided not to order anything else and was then presented with the bill without us asking for it. Over the time we were there we were served by numerous different staff not allocated one waitress which would have been preferable. On paying we again were asked how everything had been and again we told them we had felt very rushed and it had not been the relaxing Sunday lunch we had envisaged. Absolutely no apology and she obviously resented our negative comments. In hindsight I wish I had read recent reviews and realised the extensive menu was somewhat dubious and probably not all prepared on the premises. Pub is beautiful inside, such a shame about being rushed with lack of customer service and poor food. We will not be returning.

The staff where really friendly. The food was delicious and really reasonable in price. Went with my daughter. Will definitely be going again

My fave Turkish in Liverpool. The Turkish wine is gorgeous 😍 staff are lovely. I had the lamb for mains and it was delicious.

How I like my bar to be. Amazing! From finish till end impeccable experience. Professionality, hospitality and mixology at the highest level.

Always amazing food, plenty of choice on the menu - service even better. Myself & my fiancée visited this evening to celebrate her birthday and we absolutely loved it as always. We love it here & can’t wait to visit again soon!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Went as a family including 3 yr old and 10 month old and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Service was quick, friendly and welcoming. Food was served piping hot and was delicious. Would highly recommend.

This was our 2nd visit to Goya Bistro and once again cannot fault it. The service is fantastic and recommendations are always fantastic. The food is amazing, so many flavours, always hot and beautifully presented. If your looking for an authentic taste of Thai food you can't go wrong here. Fantastic value for money and we also notice lots of GF dishes and great vegetarian/vegan options available. Help this business out by paying cash as card transaction fees are killing small business owners.

This place is a dream! Full of books of whatever you want, records and even CDs. There are 2 floors, a ground floor and a basement full of things and with very good prices. There are even very cheap new books. The cafeteria is super nice, the food is very delicious. Everyone's attention is super friendly and attentive. I loved the place and plan to return.

Great place, food is fantastic and perfectly priced (in my opinion). Everyone that works there seems very friendly and the atmosphere is also great. It’s a must try. Taken my mum there once and she approved. Also took my girlfriend there today and she too approved!

Came with a friend for the deal for Monday munchies, absolute bargain! The deep fried curried sausages were delicious!! Fish and chips were nice. Great service throughout.

Lovely meal with my husband, and superb service - fresh food with a personal service. Chicken and Mushroom Balti madras hot is defo a recommendation.
