When I visit sandbach I found this place by chance and it always delivers super freindly staff and price is good chicken and rice in a box super tasty and just spicy enough for me.
Again another lovely time at the Bistro, Storrs Hall. If you are passing here , call in. Whether it be for a coffee,or a glass of wine on the beautiful outside terrace . afternoon tea, lunch or dinner. Last night was fabulous. And Erazmus made or evening. Thank you Storrs.
We had a family celebration at Kashmir, there was approx 50 guests but the staff and chef coped admiraly, the food was delicious and the quality was of a high standard despite the large party. Khan and his team ensured that the evening went well. Thank you Kashmere for making the evening very enjoyable..
I’ve just spent £100+ on food from woffle for the whole family after watching Paddy’s YouTube and they got mentioned. And I haven’t been able to say this about spending money like that on a delivery for a long time but there food is worth every penny, best burger and sides for years 👌
We both had the Sunday roast which was a nice twist. Food was beautifully cooked and presented and very friendly and attentive staff. Thoroughly recommended.
We were unfamiliar with Oldham but were getting together with a friend from down south and thought this looked like a great place to meet and eat. We had a couple of queries before gong so e mailed and had a very prompt, helpful reply and also a very helpful phone call. The restaurant itself is in a lovely old building ( there is a public pay and display car park 3 mins walk away and the tram is about as close ). Cafe East is beautifully decorated and laid out. Would be a really great place to hold a party. The menu looks great and as a vegetarian and 2 vegans we were well looked after and had a very enjoyable meal. Food and service all great.
Thanks very much Cafe East.
Be warned that the Indian Palace, formerly Spice, is going through another transition and is currently shut while being refitted (Nov 27th, 2024). Signs on the windows say it will be reopening soon as the "House or Biryanis and Kebabs". I hope it still servers restaurant style and isn't just a franchise clone...
Below is from 2003.
Ate here the other day with the kids as a group of 3. We were well looked after by the main waiter who recommended the prawns which were fresh that day. Had the prawns for starters, a biryani, and two curries along with a couple of naan and some rice. The lamb in the curries and biryani was some of the tenderest I've had in the UK - will be back for more of that! Good portion sizes, including the plain rice, though a few more poppadom bits on the poppadom and chutney starters would be good.
After trying curry houses in Timperley Village and The India Palace in West Timperley (on Manchester Road), the India Palace deserves many more return visits.
Amazing restaurant. We were staying at local premier inn prior to holiday and found this fabulous place on Trip Advisor. Gorgeous restaurant, small but beautifully decorated. Good choice menu. Our waiters were fab, kept a careful watch and brought drinks and food in good time. I had chicken stroganoff light, tasty, beautifully seasoned, husband had carbonara again full of flavour and with a delicious sauce. Puddings amazing profiteroles for hubby and Black Forest cake was out of this world, light chocolate cake with delicious filling and gorgeous Cherries. Must visit place if your in the area.
