The Bistro at Storrs Hall in South Lakeland

Again another lovely time at the Bistro, Storrs Hall. If you are passing here , call in. Whether it be for a coffee,or a glass of wine on the beautiful outside terrace . afternoon tea, lunch or dinner. Last night was fabulous. And Erazmus made or evening. Thank you Storrs.

We had a lovely experience at Storrs Hall. The food was very good quality and delicious! We were a party of 6 including my parents and our two sons ages 7 & 5. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The environment was really comfortable and stylish.

Fantastic atmosphere in the bistro at Storrs Hall last night. We had booked dinner to celebrate my birthday with my family and it was fantastic! The menu in the Bistro was excellent and great selection of starters,mains and desserts.Great recommendation from our lovely waitress and really felt very welcoming. Food and attention to detail was shared with my inlaws and husband and surprise extra pudding with sweets,chocolates was a delightful end to our evening.

Food was excellent - very tasty and well presented. The service satisfactory - although probably subpar compared to establishments of a ‘similar’ calibre. Manageress very friendly and attentive. Decor and surroundings lovely, but overall atmosphere poor in our opinion. We felt on the periphery as non residents - a very transient feel to the restaurant with residents ‘in and out’ for a quick supper. We wouldn’t choose this venue for another special occasion, but would recommend to those seeking a ‘nice meal’. As locals, we do hope to return but perhaps with different expectations.

Love the hotel and the restaurant. Me and my husband stayed here for couple of nights this February. Today we were passing by Lake District and decided to have lunch at this beautiful place. Food is delicious! Many gluten free options. Very good wine selection. Venue itself is gorgeous located next to a beautiful lake.

While staying at Stores Hall, we had dinner in The Bistro. The menu was varied and comprehensive and was delicious in all aspects. The service was attentive but not intrusive making the whole event perfect.

Excellent meal and outstanding service. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Not the cheapest, but still good value for money and will definitely be back.

Very nice food. It was a bit pricy with sides being extra £4:50 on top of a £23 meal. A side of peas. Enjoyed both main (pork belly ) and dessert (profiteroles )

Now been here twice for dinner in the past few months. Food has been amazing on both occasions. The setting and decor in the bistro is also fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend

Amazing venue, definitely returning.

After cancelling our original booking because of snow, our rearranged visit was on an extremely dull and rainy day. However this didn't spoil our dining experience at The Bistro. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. Looking forward to coming back in better weather and enjoying the hotel's stunning position and views.

This new bistro is a great asset to storrs hall. It looks amazing and the food speaks for itself. We will definitely be making this a regular eatery for us.

Nice food , menu and decor but only 3 tables occupied on Saturday eve. Needs more atmosphere but it’s still quite new to opening

We visited with the family and grandchildren just before Christmas and we were so impressed with the food and service that we have visited several times since. The Sunday lunch in the hotel main restaurant is also superb. Congratulations to all the staff involved in this wonderful hotel.
