The best restaurants in Amble Northumberland North East

We ordered a take away from here. My goodness it was delicious. We specifically chose things we had never had before and were amazed at how different it was to a usual anglicised “curry”. The flavours and quality were out standing.

Horrendous service. Asked 3 times to be served. 3 team members stood around the bar area disinterested. Ordered a coffee which was bitter and burnt. Never asked if we wanted to dine. Paid, left, never to return.

Really disappointed. Food wasn't up to standard and very overpriced. Made to feel unwelcome by locals and staff

Found this cafe quite by accident but went in as it was full. Soon got a table which was quickly cleaned by efficient staff. Good menu, proper home cooked food at very reasonable prices. All staff very good and friendly with visitors and locals alike. Hope to return again.

An ideal place to grab a delicious coffee at the harbour in amble. Great to carry on and enjoy a walk around the pier.

This family run guest house is ace. Guests are made welcome, room was functional and comfortable, bed was as good as I've experienced in any hotel. The breakfast was very good, well cooked and presented nicely. In all difficult to fault.

I liked the fact that the staff were willing to bring our drinks through to the restaurant. My partner thought the food was exceptional & well presented. The Scottish breakfast was fantastic&we got 8 slices of fried bread for 2 people! I would urge anybody going to amble to try this place.

Such a cozy, wonderful place to eat. My other half and I went on a last minute Sunday dinner date here and it was such a great experience. Honestly, some of the best seafood and crab I’ve had in my 33 years on earth. The local gin we had was great too. Phenomenal service as well. 10000/10

Sunday lunch with a difference for sure, a range of Indian style tapas, 4 different mini dishes, 2 onion bargis, rice and a chapati, absolutely delicious and very reasonable, around what you pay for a traditional Sunday lunch , service is 12 until 3 , I would recommend this restaurant.

AS always, on the first night of a week away, we go for Fish and Chips for dinner. This one happened to be less than 5 minutes from our holiday house. There was a queue on a Saturday Night - with a passing local stating that this outlet was the best in town. She was not wrong. Crispy, fluffy chips. Crunchy batter. White fish. Good portion size. Friendly service. Happily use again. Good price as well. Well done all.

Chose this as a budget option which looked ok from reviews. It was every bit as good as promised. Our room was well-appointed and very comfortable and the bathroom excellent too. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. The staff are warm and friendly and nothing too much trouble. I certainly hope to return for a longer stay.

The food cannot be beat and the dude who delivers goes out of his way to let you know when he's arriving with your grub. Great job, great food. Worth every penny.
