Tuvimos un pastel increíble, puré y guisantes en olivers café. Disculpas si tengo el nombre equivocado, es el café en el centro con una estatua de madera de un camarero! Vale la pena visitarlo.

Went in for Sunday dinner checked to make sure they had other options for my friend and they only did Sunday dinner also the wait time was 55 minutes even though we booked in. Portion was small and the only warm thing on the plate was mash because it was probably microwaved anyways. Carrots were ridiculously hard to cut though and chew. We got dessert and the ice cream was half melted and the Portion was also small. We ordered coke abd got Pepsi I get it if you don't have coke but they could have said instead of substituting it and also the chairs were dirty and the tables were too close together and sticking.

Very cosy environment and great service by Luciana, who was incredibly friendly and had a smile on her face the whole time. Enjoyed my spot of coffee here and I will most certainly be back!

Absolutely love this place the food is amazing value, the customer service is excellent and very friendly I eat here often i would give this place a try you will not regret it

Great Sandwiches, worth waiting for during busy periods

Absolutely smashing! The first photo on that appeared on google maps was a little off putting but it was so lovely inside. Really quaint. We had a bacon burger which was so juicy and smokey with fantastic pickles. Made the mistake of getting some loaded hash browns as well - the burgers come with loads of chips! The loaded has browns were amazing. Beef shin and parmesan. Wow. Was so full I didn't get a chance to try the croffle. Next time.

Nos pusimos en contacto con el restaurante para reservar una mesa, solo para ser informados de que no aceptan reservas. Sin embargo, al llegar en persona, nos dijeron abruptamente que se requería una reserva previa, una contradicción desconcertante. Esta falta de comunicación clara nos hizo perder tiempo, dinero y nos dejó luchando por encontrar una opción alternativa para comer mientras estábamos hambrientos y profundamente frustrados. Además de la confusión, a pesar de tener al menos dos mesas vacías disponibles, el personal insistió en que necesitábamos un grupo de tres personas, una política innecesariamente complicada dadas las vacantes visibles. Si bien hemos disfrutado de su comida en el pasado, el servicio desorganizado y la actitud desdeñosa durante esta visita fueron inaceptables. Lamentablemente, su mala gestión de la situación les costó dos clientes leales ese día.

Sandwiches and cake where superb. But that's what you expect from someone who has competed in bake off ,the professionals. Nuff said

Who puts onions on a full English?

Carruthers and Kent created a cheese tower for wedding and we couldn't recommend them highly enough! We wanted to find someone local who could make the 'cake', and having visited C+K for wine and cheese/charcuterie boards many times previously, they were an easy choice. We had a lovely tasting appointment to decide on the cheeses and were given many many options. The collection process was smooth, and all the guests commented on how delicious the cheeses had been! Thank you so much for everything!

We had lunch here today and found the staff really lovely. The lady who served us went above and beyond to find us a healthy vegan option (we don’t like “pretend meat etc”. We had a vegetable soup with some very nice toasted sourdough bread. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant. We are staying here and, thus far are impressed with the hotel as a whole.

A beautiful venue with amazing food. 1000% recommend and definitely be back again 😍

In my opinion, the burgers from Fenham Fish Bar are the best in Newcastle - with a side of chips and curry sauce 👌
