The best restaurants in University Middlesbrough North East

Once again absolutely gorgeous food we have oder many times and food always the same outstanding quality thanks team zesty bites

I love Kung Fu Panda! My family comes here often and I’ve been with them twice. Today we celebrated my birthday and everything was great as it always is :) the staff are very friendly and patient, and were happy to bring out a cake with candles that my family had provided. The food is great, very varied so perfect for groups with different preferences, and with generous portion sizes. My only small complaint is that the restaurant is a bit too cold. Otherwise I am looking forward to coming back next time I’m visiting my family :)

Excellent food and service. Lamb fillet skewer was tasty and delicious and very tender. Baklava and ice cream was perfect. Thank you.

We were really impressed with this place and would recommend, found the staff friendly, the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was cute and authentic, and mainly the food was great and reasonably priced.

Well let’s just say I’ve got food poisoning and have threw my guts up for 9 hour straight….

Two course lunch gifted to us as an anniversary present. Arrived on time, no one there to greet us for five minutes. Lunch was nice especially the starter. Unfortunately there wasn’t much atmosphere, though I think that was because it was early 12.30.

Bought a birthday cake on the day added letters on for me and is the best cake we’ve ever tasted! Would use again

I been here previously was ok but sorry today was not good my starter looked like frozen rubbish you get from a cheap shop the main was totally drowned in I would say a bottles of chilli sauce you had in kitchen chicken wasn’t 100 per chicken that also tasted cheap wouldn’t go here again must say though staff are the only good thing sorry

Was a quiet Tuesday evening but still the atmosphere was good with music and a few groups of people. Bar staff were not only friendly but helpful and the cocktails were great.

Visited Guli Chinese on a chilly evening and found the perfect comfort food—Pork and Prawn Wonton soup. We also tried the Chicken chowmein and Chicken Sweet Corn Soup. The flavors were comforting and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend!

Just tried this fir the first time . WOW WOW WOW . Got the Licuous double mash burger. Came with 4 x 3Ounce patties. Has to be the most delicious burger I have ever tasted beautiful flavour and the fries are cooked really well nice & crispy fries . The sauces are amazing too. And sooo resonanably priced . A credit to them for this fine Establishment. One of the best burger & Phily Steaks places to eat local to the North East 👍

Very reasonable prices and a good atmosphere.

Really lovely food. By far the best in the area. Keema bhuna and fish pakoras are excellent.
