Was a quiet Tuesday evening but still the atmosphere was good with music and a few groups of people. Bar staff were not only friendly but helpful and the cocktails were great.

Lovely place, staff are great, but really disappointed the disabled toilet isn't accessible despite having a radar key and disability access card as the toilets are up a lot of stairs so inaccessible for those with mobility issues

Amazing staff. My bag was stolen and my phone was discarded behind Macy browns. Bar staff found my phone, charged it and returned it. 10/10. Cocktails are amazing too

Absolutely outstanding customer service jack one of the bartenders was unbelievable at his job I have never received such fantastic customer service anything we asked he did from making us special off the menu cocktails to our tastes to making my fiance birthday perfect and then to top it off out the blue brought us all over birthday shots honestly can not fault this place one bit Jack is an absolute diamond and I can not thank him enough for making my fiances birthday so perfect will 1000000000000% be returning 👌🤙

From the outside does not do it justice for what it is it's very nice inside, food brilliant very large choice of drinks and nice ones too staff very friendly definitely recommend will be coming back

Nice atmosphere. Cocktails can be expensive but you get what you pay for with some really nice drinks

We visited your Middlesbrough bar last night asked for rhubarb and ginger gin with ginger ale the bar man put the gin in the measure then missed the glass throw it all over the bar and wanted me to pay for it I tipped it out into a shot glass that was on the bar it half filled the shot glass the barman was ignorant trying to make me pay for half a measure i told him that's illegal he didn't give a dam it was disgusting I want something done if not I'm going to trading standards i would lke the manager to get intouch

Worst customer experience tonight. I purchased three drinks and after 5 minutes of standing at the bar chatting to my friends, I was asked by the bar man to move away from the bar so He could serve people. I thought this was a wind up as me and my two friends were the only ones stood at the bar. He insisted we move away from the bar. I didn't finish my drink and left. Why ask someone to move away from the bar so you can serve customers when you have no one to serve? Just plain rude!

We went to Macy Brown's Cocktail Bar in Middlesbrough on Saturday 5th May for my sisters hen party. We had not been drinking when we arrive and are not a group who drink regularly or heavily. My sister had really wanted this bar for her hen do. I had tried to book via email and phone calls and had not gotten a response. I complained about this on Facebook and was messaged privately, where they confirmed our booking of two booths and a prosecco package. When we arrived at nine, we were told there was no bookings for the night. I showed the confirmation I had, and the bar staff went to get the manager. He told us we could not have a booth. I explained the situation, having to raise my voice due to the music, and asked for it to be rectified. He said no, and a bouncer came over and aggressively told us to leave. This really upset my sister, who had just wanted a nice hen do with her family and a couple of friends. We asked again if they could do something for us, and the bouncer and manager started to swear at us and trying to force us to leave. At one point, the bouncer grabbed my aunts arm to physically remove her. We were a group of 9 women, who were not drunk or disorderly, and several were older women. This appeared to be seen as acceptable behaviour by all the staff. I enclose a screenshot of the message confirming the booking, and I do have a photograph of the bouncer who forcefully ejected us, should you wish to take this further. I will not share that on your page so as not to make him public enemy, as I'm a civilised person. That's more than he deserves.
