Hidden gem. Looks like a corner shop in a back street, but the food is great. Don't expect five star decor, it's plastic tables and chairs but we've been twice and both times we were the only people in there who weren't Chinese- always a good sign if you are looking for something closer to homemade.

Been here several times … Used to be the best & Most Authentic Chinese Restaurant in Teesside area! Now the owner changed and also the chef, everything taste awful now … no longer authentic 😢

I suspected this place would be good when I walked past and saw a group of Chinese student eating there. Really glad I ate here, I was too much of a wimp to try out the chickens blood and feet on the menue but the shredded chicken and honey and chilli special were superb.

Great Chinese food, pork braised belly is nice and beef offal soup is a must.

Undoubtedly, this restaurant serves the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Middlesbrough. However, if you crave chop suey or house specials, this might not be the ideal place for you, as they specialize in more traditional Chinese dishes. They also have a standard English takeout menu, for delivery, but its only ok. However the sit in menu is extensive, featuring various unique dishes such as beef aorta, jellyfish, offal, and chicken feet. During my visit, I ordered the Mongolian lamb, and my partner opted for the braised tofu dish. Both dishes were exceptional.

Really bad that I ordered food through foodhub they took my money then said the restaurant cancelled my order. When I called the restaurant they hadn’t turned the machine on for foodhub, the girl was lovely and tried to help but said she would turn the machine on and I could order through foodhub again. Foodhub will not refund my money for a few days so I would have to of paid twice today. You should be made aware before money comes out that restaurant not accepting orders through foodhub. I cannot comment on the food but it seems to me that the system Needs to change and that foodhub is at fault not the restaurant.

Brilliant authentic Chinese food I really enjoyed the bone beef soup with noodles ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Some food is too salty but some ok. The waitress also didn’t really pay attention to the customer, have to shout or come to them

Good food, kind service and big portions

Whenever I go here I order Honey Chilli Chicken and Spring rolls. Now this has set a bench mark for the taste 😍 At first I also ordered Chicken Chow mein and steamed rice with some egg soup, but I did not like it. May be the flavour is unfamiliar. Atomsphere is normal, plating is sometimes good. People are nice and friendly.

I would love to go to guli noodles but the Hygiene rating is 2 at the moment. Please can you try to improve the rating as I would love to try some amazing foods.

The food was delicious, but very very disappointed with one of my meals, Honey chilli house special king prawns, £8-50, But only 2 prawns in the dish ,the dish was all chicken, not happy at all.

Absolute gem of a restaurant serving really traditional Cantonese and Sichuan dishes - ate here 3 times in a week as it was so good! Can’t wait to work our way through the rest of the menu.

This restaurant has table service, take-out and delivery options. Authentic dishes that taste great. The only Chinese restaurant I go to in Middlesbrough...have tried others this one is legit.

Amazing beef broth noodles. A must have for me after gym. Authentic, high-protein Chinese dishes. Flavourful and tasty (ask for chilli oil for spice). The staff is always accommodating and even closed 20 minutes late for my friends to stay longer. 5/5

Service was too slow when I ordered today,when I ordered takeaway today it was expected to be ready by 6:30 but it didn't arrive until 7

First time trying, i ordered chips, egg fried rice with a sweet and sour special, very nicely cooked and seasoned, i enjoyed it and would recommend anyone to give them a try.

Ma Po tofu, zha jiang mien, lu rou, mi fan. Very nice, mapo not that spicy but still nice. Lu rou was really really good! Will come back

Was a bit disappointed in this today . Ordered the family deal . They brought the chips 1st followed by the 3 main courses . Half way through had to ask for the rice and noodles. We got the noodles .then was expecting the rice to follow but no .so had a meal with no rice . I asked where the starters where she said oh . So these came after the main course then asked where the platter and duck was to she brought the duck but no platter . So asked again then got told it's either one or another .. asked to see the menu .Nothing to say that .. so we had an upside down meal . Cone on guys the food we had was ok but get the orders correct and in the right order ..
