Really enjoyed the experience.Pleasantly surprised by the covid measures on way in.Made to feel very welcome. This is probably the smallest restaurant I've ever been to, but the food and service were excellent. If ever back in Darlington will definitely go back.Highly recommended.

Lovely pasta, lovely team! If you like fresh pasta, you're going to love this place. Veronika the owner Is so nice and does the best pasta. It's definitely worth a visit, I'd recommend the Joe's as it has lots of lovely Veggies in it, or the chicken/bacon tomato pasta. Mmm.

What a delight. I was introduced to this fish and chip shop last Thursday by a friend, Cliff Carter. Best takeaway I've been to in Darlington and apart from Seabreeze in Redcar and Potted Lobster in Bamburgh I've never found another as good anywhere I've visited in the world. Superb quality fish, beautifully cooked and really nice chips too. Our regular from now on. Thanks Cliff

My daughter took me for mothers day afternoon tea. We were disappointed that the cups we were given weren't very clean and also the pastries and tiny bits of quiche were cold and cheap quality, the cakes weren't much better, it included croissants that were really dry with nothing on them and Battenburg cake. Nothing very special unfortunately.

This morning I decided to try the coffee shop at the top of Waterstones. I approached the service counter in an attempt to purchase coffee and food. Two the two employees were working and talking about there social life. I stood there awkwardly for almost half a minute. They made no attempt to communicate or make eye contact. This is incredibly rude behaviour and unprofessional. I do not suffer this kind of unprofessional behaviour from my employees, and decided to not suffer it from them, so I walked away to find an other place to have my breakfast. If I had seen this level of disrespect from my employees, I would show them where the door is.
