A super, atmospheric, friendly, old-fashioned type pub. And long may it survive!!! Extremely welcoming hosts, good beers and friendly locals to drink amongst.

A local pub for local people. Still a good welcome for passing trade.

Excellent atmosphere. An actual pub. Reasonable prices and a fantastic jukebox. The staff are all friendly and so in fact is everyone else I've met in there. I highly recommend this place for an enjoyable drink any day of the week.

Excellent pub. Good old proper biker bar with plenty of atmosphere. Bike nights held every third Thursday of the month with free tea and coffee. Superb

The Railway Tavern is one of the oldest pubs in Darlington, If you love trains this is the place to go as I was amazed at all the different train models that were around, They do have bands on, which may not be music for every taste, but well worth finding out

Proper pub with a warm and welcoming feel. Log burner in the bar for the cold nights, nice pint and reasonably priced and a pool table as well. Wooden interior adds to the cosy feel.

Proper, friendly, local 2 roomed pub. Always a warm welcome to regulars and strangers alike. Wood fire in the winter, seats outside on front and beer garden in the back for the summer. Dog friendly. Free live bands (most weekends) pool, darts etc. Wide range of beers, ciders and lagers, with at least one real ale always on a pump.

Proper drinkers pub. Always someone to talk to. Steve & Anki nice people.
