Star Of Bengal in Darlington

Ordered food and collected..... Got home and there was no rice which I paid for, and once we started eating it we found big black hairs in it.It's got some good reviews but it's gone downhill.

As I pulled up in the taxi I was cautious feels like back street.Warm welcome though and as we are the prawn starter I was very surprised the quality of the food was totally excellent.Warning: the portions are large we ordered way to much. Everything was really really good totally recommend this restaurant. The staff are great to engage in conversation in particular about the paintings on the walls - absolute delight.

We visit here most weeks and have done for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Food excellent...do not agree with previous review as have always found the staff very polite, friendly and respectful. Newly decorated, spotlessly clean and even air conditioned for this hot summer. Will be back again soon for the wonderful chicken tikka dansak!
