Forget your highly processed McDonald's breakfasts - Crusty's is the place I take my kids for breakfast and they love it. Fresh, tasty ingredients that you can truly have 'your way'! I can't get enough of the large breakfast baps. I go for sausage, bacon, egg, mushroom, fried onion and cheese with brown sauce. Everything is super tasty and cooked to perfection. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

waited for an hour and accidentally gave the delivery driver £5.00 extra and he happily got in the car and pulled away without checking before I'd realised. Bacon was burnt to a crisp. So in essence paid £7.00 for a burnt bacon sandwich.

Crusty's is an institution in Darlington. Though it looks like a traditional run of the mill café, the food and service are anything but. Their big breakfast baps are world renowned...I've honestly never tasted anything better, and incredible value for money! The owner is a complete gentleman too...a real salt of the earth type; humble, warm, friendly and welcoming. Every trip to Crusty's is an absolute pleasure. Go and give it a try...you'll be hooked just like me!

Me and my hubby were comming back from a shopping trip to town and we were hungry .we have been to Crustys many times before so we knew that we could always get a good meal. We settled for their all day breakfast. The tea that you get is always in a mug which is great as you get value for money. The service is good as is the food The cafe appeals to the everyday person wanting a good meal. Great place.

Feeds the northgate masses - proper brekkies with mugs of tea and coffee. Even delivering locally. Bacon sarnies are best in town. Fact!

My recent visit to left much to be desired. While the oat flat white was good, the sandwich mix-up was a letdown. I received a cheaper sandwich instead of the one I ordered and paid for, and the staff's lack of friendliness added to the disappointment. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I couldn't address the issue immediately. Hopefully, improvements in service and accuracy can enhance the overall customer experience at the shop.

Afternoon Tea- Food beautiful but team keen to clear away plates before we had finished. Do had no jam or butter for scone. No offer of 2nd drink. A hot day and really unpleasant odour from staff member. Disappointed as previous visit staff very attentive. Today felt as though staff couldn’t be bothered.

Definitely the best Cafe in Darlington without a doubt, the menu choice, the food, the service is excellent top marks. I have been coming to this cafe for over a year now. This cafe should continue with same staff, service, menu choices and food. Best In Darlington by far. It would be an injustice and a tragedy if it was to close or change.

Sunday lunch today for two. Ive had several Sunday dinners in the last year including high end establishments, and can say the food here was superb, cooked to perfection, and sufficient for the biggest appetite. Staff attentive and quick, the food delivered to our table in record time, and value for money top marks.

Ordered two cheesy chips and the top layer was cheese when I opened the boxes. Under the cheese was chips swimming in some sort of watery sauce. Absolutely was not cheese.
