Excellent coffee and cakes at a reasonable price. Only place to go for coffee in Durham from now on.

Strange place - quite quirky - can't decide if it wsnts to be a pub or an antique shop! But the food was good and the staff excellent

Stopped here while on holiday in July and visiting beautiful waterfalls in the area. Best lunch ever! We were stuffed after soup, sandwich and tea, all a delicious treat for the tastebuds, and still had to take a couple of yummy scones for later back at our caravan lodge at Wild Rose. Yum..yum..yum! Lovely service too and worth every penny.

First visit and will certainly be back again and again. Everything was great and not too much trouble for the staff or too expensive.

Sunday dinner was very nice ..staff are really helpful...defo recommend and will be going back ...

My coffee was served quickly & by a lady who was on her first day. She was polite & cheerful Thank you! The coffee is always good & so are the cakes etc etc. I was good on this occasion & just had a coffee.

This is a great little chip shop that I would recommend and very filling with leftovers for tea after. Very tasty really good and cheap

Very good food. Decided to give this place a go the other week. We had a box meal and salt/pepper fries. It was tasty. The place inside doesn't look the most advertising, reason for dropping a star.

The venue was lovely, and the staff were polite. The steak was beautifully cooked and full of flavor. I recommend one of the sharing boards, whichever appeals to you. We had an early dinner, so the restaurant was very quiet as it had just opened, which was perfect for the children. There was a great selection of drinks, and the bartender who worked the day the King and Queen visited the Cathedral was exceptional.

Went for a bottomless brunch on Easter Sunday with my daughters. We had a fabulous time and were very well looked after by the lovely Mikey (aka Lee! 🤣 - which for some reason we thought he was called). Think we tried just about every cocktail on the menu, we all had our favourites, think mine was the "Spring fling". All the food was delicious and freshly prepared. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the staff, but especially Mikey for putting up with us x
