Works Xmas night out. Bottomless brunch. Fantastic food and service was amazing! Top quality cocktails. Georgia was as a star and looked after our group now 10 amazingly 👏

Popped in yesterday afternoon for a couple of drinks. It was busy so took a while to get served at the bar. We managed to find a table so ordered on the app (as encouraged to) thinking it would be easier and seeing 2 tables doing bottomless brunch with constant drinks being served, thought it would be quicker. Took 20 minutes to bring our cocktails (2 cocktails ) and were the wrong ones. Took another 10-15 minutes to bring the correct ones. We then ordered a pint which after 30 minutes still didn’t turn up, we couldn’t find anyone to ask and had a meal booked elsewhere so had to leave. There was no option to cancel on the app so we were out of pocket. Do not use the app to order in here as it seems you take last priority over everyone else.

Visited mid afternoon and ordered nachos and pizza food was well presented and very reasonably priced Will xefo visit again nice atmosphere and friendly staff

I attended here to do bottomless brunch for my birthday. We did the festive bottomless brunch and tried all of the new drinks which were outstanding. The food was outstanding and huge portions. The staff are so friendly especially the man who looked after us throughout our brunch. I would highly recommend this establishment and it’s bottomless brunch.

Recientemente tuvimos una gran reunión de alrededor de 150 personas en la biblioteca. El equipo hizo un trabajo increíble manejando un grupo tan grande con facilidad. Fue increíblemente organizado y servicial. El servicio de comida fue impresionantemente rápido, con todo el mundo servido con prontitud, lo que puede ser complicado con un grupo de nuestro tamaño. Tanto los niños como las niñas del equipo se lo pasaron muy bien, y apreciamos lo bien que el personal manejó todo para que nuestro evento fuera libre de estrés. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que planee una gran reunión o evento de equipo!

Estábamos en Durham para mis amigos 30 y tenía brunch sin fondo reservado aquí. Absolutamente fantástico servicio de principio a fin. Mención especial a Georgia que se aseguró de que todos estábamos bien atendidos. Muy recomendable.

Ordered loaded beef fries, had a tiny amount of beef on and all of the chips were undercooked and soggy. Small portions for the prices. Drinks were also pricey and flat tasteless cola. Came to £20 for loaded fries, side of garlic bread and two cola's.

Called in with friends for food, we were made very welcome by host Denise who couldn’t do enough for us. Excellent service, friendly staff, lovely food and drink at very reasonable prices in a welcoming and comfortable environment. We will be back.

well first of all, the waitress Georgia was breathtaking xxx. best in durham after jack. drinks were sufficient. however our glass of prosecco turned into 6. would like cheese on pizza to be more crispy. the georgia special was spectacular. 8/10, less ex more jaeger 🫶🏻

The Library in Whitley Bay is a great spot! It's got a relaxed vibe, and the quiz night on Wednesdays is a highlight—good fun and a nice mix of questions. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the bar has a cosy atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit midweek!

Favourite pub to visit in Durham. Staff are always so pleasant and friendly. Can get very busy but plenty of seating and tables. Lovely place for drinks and some scran.

12 of us went for the bottomless brunch for my daughters hen do 28th September and I've got to say the service was fantastic...Georgia was our drinks server and she was amazing we literally didn't go 1 second without a drink (I blame her for my hangover haha) and the food was lovely too I would 100% recommend this place

Been here a number of times in the past for bottomless brunch and had a great experience. Not this time chose here as the menus had been expanded.... the drinks were not as good as previously not sure if other brands had been used. We were left waiting for drinks a number of times too, it appeared only one lad left to to all the taking orders and serving which he did his best and when we asked other staff members for anything were just told we were not their table not a team effort at all. One group member chose the what she and others thought was a chicken burger which wasn't so very misleading and two chose the boss benedict as hoping for a decent portion size as had in the past with various other food options only to be very disappointed at literally one sausage cut in half and one poached egg. We will definitely be going elsewhere in future as portion sizes are better in your competitors establishments.

Went in for £6 lunch , chicken burgers are 😋 ! A lovely lady called Denise was interacting with everyone, that's how I noticed her.She came over to my table & pointed out deals n offers etc in such a friendly manner😊 Was great for recommending , answering queries .She was so, so friendly(dunno how she hasn't been poached 😉) Twas a breath of fresh air . Went for Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday morning, overall exactly what you want with good drinks and quick service. Staff were all really lovely and friendly. In our 2 hour slot we managed 8 drinks each without really pushing it. Two in our party had the full English which was really tasty and well cooked. Requests for slight changes were also accepted no problem. Main downside was the meal I ordered which was the nachos. Not sure why they’re advertised as serving 2-3 as the portion was quite regular. There was only a small amount of guacamole/sour cream and some bits of tomato the cheese was also not melted. They were topped with rocket which was all wilted and slimy. I wasn’t sure if this was because the rocket was past its best or if it had been sitting under a light. Regardless, they still tasted fine - especially 4 cocktails in, just not the best. I would also say the table we were on as a party of three was quite small making it a bit tight fitting the food and drinks on. Overall, good value for money but some of the food could perhaps be improved.

Absolutely fantastic bottomless brunch, the staff were so accommodating and lovely! Best brunch we've ever been to, both meat eaters but highly recommended the cauliflower wings (even if they wont give me the recipe) Denise was absolutely golden, lovely woman and a pleasure to be a part of your team 🧡🧡🧡

Had a bottomless brunch here and the standard of food and drink was great. The service provided was exceptional and way beyond any other please I have been to globally. Georgia was our host and she went above and beyond from the moment or arrive to the moment we left. A member of our party was particularly demanding and she managed this really well. We went in at lunchtime midweek in the height of summer. The place is huge, from the street it looks small but it expands out back with views over the river. Food choice was huge, and it came fast. Decent prices for just down from the castle too. Staff Denise and Adam were sooo friendly and looked after us.

What a lovely surprise! We booked here for bottomless brunch a nd we wasn't disappointed! The choice of food options left you studying the menu as spoilt for options! Decided on a pizza and boy it was delicious 😋, my friend tried the burger and raved about hers Best variety of drinks on a bottomless brunch we have ever seen ! Extra spritz available due the summer months ! Our server Amy was very polite and helpful! She really looked after us ! Thank you for having us and making our afternoon! Definitely a young person's place. Was quite busy with very large groups of 20-30 year olds. Beers selection was Beaverton ales. Food was ok. I had an Onion bhaji burger that wasn't bad (when the bhajis showed up way after the burger). Wouldn't be rushing back.

Staff are ignorant. I understand it can be busy with young people but staff were just ignoring questions, one just included where the napkins were.

It serves cheap and large bowls of veggie breakfast all day long, which is quite delicious and rivals Riverside Kitchen. A hypoglycemic killer, suitable for me who just came out of the library and was so hungry that I went crazy.

Great place, very near the castle. Excellent lunch deal on weekdays. Staff are friendly, food is good and there is a good range of drinks. It is also family and dog friendly unlike other places in Durham we tried to enter that have ridiculous restrictions, turning away our party as my 17 year old son was not allowed in. No such problems here, highly recommended.

Excellent place. Called in for a coffee, sat on the outside terrace enjoying the miners gala. Then the rain came still sat outside and had some food & a beer, nice friendly place atmosphere superb. Would recommend.

Unbelievably slow service at the bar. Counted 9 staff and still had to wait almost 19 minutes for my drinks order to be taken. Should have walked out. Get it sorted. Queues are lost revenue.

the service was slow for bottomless brunch. had to call over waiter to ask to be served numerous times. the other brunches her given a bottle of Prosecco to start and we were not. quite short staffed and only got 4-5 drinks in the 2 and a half hours. was not worth the £31

The darts are inhumane and the pool cues are wonky, plus they nearly lost my id. My visit was despicable and I shall not be returning.

We came after my final psychology exam and lovely Mary (a psychology student) was fab she chatted to us and was so lovely!!! Really made my day

Lush pub hidden away in the street, we nearly walked past. It's got a lovely beer garden and staff and all the food looked amazing.

Was enjoying myself until I was told I couldn't buy any more drinks because apparently I was too drunk after only 2 pints?? Very wierd bartender who singled me out and barred me for no reason when I was very clearly sober, and gave no reason when I asked him why. He then tried to tell me I'd been there for 6 hours when I'd been there for 2?? Was a nice place but wouldn't recommend because of the staff unfortunately, seem to have wierd power trips.

This was the best bottomless brunch I've ever experienced. The service was excellent, with staff ensuring our drinks were always topped up, even though we were seated outside. We never felt overlooked. Would highly recommend. I blame you for my hangover😂

The wife and I popped in on Saturday as it was a hot day and thought we would get a cold drink. We got 2 shandy pints which was a shocking £11.70 we did not purchase any food as the place was very very busy and there were very few seats available, the staff however were serving at a tremendous speed which was impressive having to navigate some serious steps up and down to the kitchen for the food . It is a very nice welcoming place and a lot of the tables were pre booked so must be good food.

Visited Durham during the week (Tuesday), it was absolutely fantastic, found this place on the way back from the Cathedral, sat down and a lady spoke to us who was absolutely brilliant, we ordered the 6 wings with bbq and burger, I got a cocktail as finally didn't have to drive home, Food was tasty, wouldn't order the cocktail again even though it was 241, at the price didn't really feel any alcohol in it, but lady said its half price on Wednesdays I think (I've slept since) on Wednesdays and Thursdays they have half price drinks, cocktails and karaoke on which would be super, but we were just visiting. The toilets were being repaired at the time of visiting but you coukd use the disabled one which was opposite the bar a bit, but if you were going to the actual toilets the floor is a bit wonky, added to the character of the place. The staff, especially the lady who seated us, served us and chatted was bloody fantastic and the barman too. Will definitely pay another visit bit maybe stick to my usual pint or go wild and see what Wednesdays or Thursdays are like.

Just finished our bottomless brunch and Acacia couldn't have been more attentive. We didn't sit with an empty glass the whole 2 hours! Food was amazing and Acacia made sure everything was perfect!
