The best restaurants in Delves Lane and Consett South County Durham North East

Found this cafe a couple of weeks ago and I have already been 3 times. Food quality is excellent and always great service.

As a customer with a really sensitive gluten intolerance which can be triggered by the slightest cross contamination i have to say i have eaten from this chip shop on numerous occasions for over a year and I've never had any issues. If you're looking for good gluten-free choice from a chippy this is the place for you. Always a friendly welcome and lovely food.

Came for breakfast here yesterday. Served by the friendliest staff - so welcoming. Ordered the full English and asked for no black pudding - so was asked what I’d like to replace it with!!! Very impressed! Came out quickly, piping hot and delicious. Called into the shop on the way out for pies and cakes - too lovely to resist. First visit - will not be the last.

Came here for breakfast with my son, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, very nice coffee and delicious milkshakes, the staff were very helpful and so welcoming, we will be back very soon! 😁

I love coming here. Always made to feel so welcome. I've decided they have the most delicious selection of cakes in all the North East! Not open all week is probably a good thing for the waistline as I'd happily visit daily!!!!!!

Worst Sunday lunch I've ever had me and the wife got the small dinner £8.95 and by god it was small next to no meat my son got the large £12.95 and his was not much better, never again!

Probably the worst Sunday lunch I've had in a long time. Ordered the three meats yet all tasted the same. Beef was poor quality. We were given a grand total of 4 carrots to share, boiled veg fully of water, mash splat on plate. Absolutely no flavour at all such a shame as it's a lovely pub. Also please don't cover dinners in gravy it's a massive give away that it's not fresh. Yorkshire puddings poor and soggy

The best night out in Consett. Cheapest around. Safety is the key. Best clientele in the area.

Have known this family bar for many years.... Wonderfully traditional bar... Great Ales and spirits.. Smashing bar staff.. ®Recommend DJMcG 🇮🇪

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Vegan breakfast is really tasty and price is decent value.

Food was lovely I did order a bottle of cola but did not receive it but would order again

They didn’t have an item they tried to call and I missed it so I got a note to advise what to do. Fab service
