The service was really good, but the beef was old and hard to chew 😢 👇🏻My reply to the staff who replied to my review: I mentioned directly to the staff in the restaurant that the beef was old, which is why I asked for extra tofu. All the beef was on my friend’s plate as I didn’t like it, and we didn’t touch it. If you have CCTV cameras, you can check it yourself. Also, I paid for everything, including the beef I didn’t like, so I have every right to express my opinion here. There’s no need to reply as if I did something wrong—what I said was fair, and you should focus on improving the food quality. 😂 Plus I did mention that the service was good, so I’m not sure what you’re trying to defend.

Karaoke on a Friday night is great fun. Steve the DJ does a fabulous job and creates a great atmosphere. Staff were trying to be helpful and friendly and I appreciate that, but the management were unreasonable and rude.

I absolutely love Boqueria, I visit almost every other month and it never disappoints, it’s one of my absolute favourites! The food is delicious, full of flavour and excellent portions for sharing, and the quality and value are phenomenal. The service is amazing, all the people who work here are always so lovely, warm and welcoming and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is gorgeous and I love the transition between day and night with the cozy lights - it’s the perfect place for a catchup with friends, a date or a larger celebration. Can’t recommend enough!

I’m reviewing the hotel based on the price I paid (below 300 gbp) and the fact that it’s a 5* Hilton which in my view doesn’t compare with real 5* hotels at 3-4 times the price point: - the rooms are spacious for London, clean, the usual comfort, mini bar with water and Coca Cola was complimentary. - check in was seamless, front desk and entrance area personnel were impeccable friendly and professional. - the concierge Tom is an absolute treasure, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Thanks for managing to get my shirt steamed in house and your many pieces of advise. - location is super central to west end , covent garden, soho , Whitehall, all walkable, easy access to underground Now where does the hotel lack or where is it a 4* not a 5*: -Breakfast service is great, staff are excellent but the service is slow. That’s due to the # of staff not the staff itself. I get grumpy waiting 10min for my coffee after I enter the breakfast area the egg order (complimentary omelette or eggs Benedict, one order) took like 20-25 min taking away valuable time from my day. Replacement of an essential like toast was slow at times. Can happen but felt like staff were just overtasked - the elevators are slow - note there’s construction going on next door(for some time) and inside the hotel (ending October 2024?) , didn’t hear a thing and didn’t bother me - the elevators are slow Tldr: rooms, staff, location impeccable, close to 5* but not a real 5*, breakfast service slow due to too few staff, would definitely stay again

This place seems to have its regulars and is popular with a slightly older and more diverse crowd than the average. This is a very good thing, in my opinion. The beer selection is also exemplary. Well worth a visit for an enthusiast.

This place is always a great choice for an after-work drink or any sort of occasion. Good wine & nibbles, various mains and sharing platters, nice & attentive staff.

Absolutely first-rate! Thai Taste has an unusually complete menu with many dishes not often found in other restaurants, and what we had was exceptionally good. We are fans of Thai cuisine, and this is one of the best restaurants we have experienced. Both dishes we had were new to us. The duck curry had ample meat, and somehow a savory quality despite the presence of a piece or two of pineapple and even a lichee. The sauce was of medium density and very complex. There are three bass filet options on the menu, something we have not encountered before in a Thai restaurant. The fish arrives at the table looking somewhat naked and bland, but it actually was replete with full-bodied flavor. We had mango with sticky rice for dessert, and even this standard dish seemed unusually good. The mango was a generous amount and perfectly ripe, and the rise, more sticky than elsewhere, had a complexity of flavor beyond the traditional coconut. The restaurant is small, seating perhaps twenty diners and is wonderfully quiet and serene. There is carefully chosen background music which is actually enjoyable rather than irritating.

The Italian owner is friendly and advises you on what to eat.. very nice place and excellent meat.. Too bad the bill was €210 for two steaks for 3... without wine and without desserts just a potato as a side dish.. it could have been a little more sincere..
