The Jones Family Kitchen in City of London, Westminster

Came here before a play near Victoria Station. One of the best value for money steakhouses I’ve ever been to. All of our starters were fantastic. The fillet and rump steak were both incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the lamb chops as well. Overall a 10/10 experience. I am not usually a fan of steakhouses but would come to The Jones over and over again!

Had a wonderful pre-theatre meal here to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday. The food and service were excellent and they went above and beyond to make it special. We were treated to an Aperol Spritz and a chocolate brownie. As an added bonus, all the staff had signed a birthday card in all their different languages. You don’t often get this level of personal service in London. Well done The Jones Family Kitchen!

We had a fab time For starter spicy fried squid with sourdough bread , trout and tuna tartare, absolutely delicious For the main: perfectly cooked steak with charred green beans, fries and rocket and Parmesan salad. Desert was lovely too. We opted for apple crumble and cheese cake. Thank you for the lovely service, everything was perfect.

Lovely terrace, quiet spot off the main road. Good menu and great food. A little pricey.

We booked to visit on a Sunday night after researching the best place to come near Victoria station. This gorgeous restaurant blew us away - fantastic service, super friendly, attentive and careful about my coeliac disease. Delicious margarita cocktail and a quite simply divine Porterhouse steak with perfectly cooked truffle fries and chunky chips. Will definitely come back!

We have randomly visited to grab some good before the theatre. Was a great surprise to discover this place! Food was really tasty, atmosphere is nice and the staff is so friendly.

We booked a meal here on Sunday prior to a show ; it was a special occasion for our family and we could not have been more delighted with our choice. We had a quirky version of a roast dinner which was absolutely delicious, generous but not overwhelming portions ; lovely glass of wine and bright, airy environment overlooking a quiet courtyard. The service is first-class, the restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is good, the location is convenient, but the price is slightly expensive.

Delightful lunch outside under a heater. Food was delicious and the staff attentive and charming. I’m gluten free and always excited to see a decent range of gf food. Thank you for looking after us. I’ll be back soon.

We were looking for somewhere to meet our friends where we would receive good service but not be rushed out. We were truly impressed with the quality of the food and drinks provided and the level of service. Additionally, as someone with a food intolerance I felt this was taken seriously and I felt confident that I could enjoy my meal without worry. A great choice of restaurant and would highly recommend.

Pre-theatre meal - I saw this restaurant while researching the area and booked a table. Warm welcome and very nice staff. Not overly attentive but friendly and engaging. Spot on. Food was very good (went for 2 course pre-theatre meal) and it started filling up with more customers which added to the overall positive vibe. Lovely furnishings, low lighting and great music made it a pleasurable experience.

Really good food and good staff

Food average and overpriced, pork just a little meat and the rest only fat, steak dry , bake potato undercooked , fries oily so the must be old one just reheated,mac and cheese tasteless.There were only about maybe 3 tables the whole time we were dining there but we still had to wait for someone to come and clean the table after our starters and to order more drinks .Waitress that was clearing our plates after the main course asked how was everything but we didn’t answer she just took plates away not concerned why we left a few items almost untouched.Payed over £250 and left disappointed and still hungry.

We had difficulty on the tubes and were late and with a theatre show afterwards at 7:30. Service and kitchen were amazing., Turning us out in a little over and hour for two courses cooked to perfection. Best steak this year. We had the porterhouse to share. And pinot noir was a perfect pairing.

Absolutely exceptional service, food & ambience. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. One of the best.

Unfortunately, we found the restaurant to be overpriced for the quality of the food. We ordered the chateaubriand (£110), but it didn’t match expectations. Cut too thick, not as tender. Service was friendly, a little pushy on the drinks. Overall, we left feeling that there are better options available on the same price range, such as Hawksmoor, for a more satisfying experience. Or 50 Cheyne which remains our all-time favourite

I don’t often leave reviews, but felt that I needed to tonight, randomly picked this restaurant and I’m so glad I did, great restaurant, staff really friendly and knowledgeable, accommodating with requests regarding the food, nothing seemed too much trouble for them, and the food was fantastic, I’m someone that usually dines out at least once a week, but rarely feel the need to review, however this restaurant overwhelmed me, great job, and keep doing what you are doing

The steak was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and incredibly tender. The spicy sweet potato side dish was a real standout – hands down the best sweet potato I've ever had, with just the right balance of heat and sweetness. Clearly great ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend

Possibly the best place in London for amazing steak and wine. we went for our annual date, really lovely staff there to help us find the perfect wine to go with our food, and the food... Oh my days, it is worth every penny. Like take my money good. We had the chateaubriand with bernaise and chimmichuri, fries and the house salad and bread- and it is next level good. If you do eat meat, this is your next dining place. Will be coming back for the onglet steak next with a bottle of bordeaux! Ah, one more thing that was amazing in todays times: the music was low. So we could actually hear what we were saying to each other- a massive thank you to everyone who did not reach to turn the volume up- we need and want more places like yours!

Everything we had was good, but the prime rib was exceptional, some of the best steak I ever had! The service was amazing as well, everyone we interacted with was friendly, pleasant and mostly importantly, not pretentious. I came with friends, but I'll definitely be back with my girlfriend, as the atmosphere is very cozy and warm.

Normally best steak in town last night very poor beef was dry tough and lacking flavour .Either a bad batch or the steaks cooked direct from the freezer -disappointing as its our go to place

Really average, overpriced food. Pork chop was overcooked and the butter on top was still frozen. Service was pretty poor too. I have eaten here a couple of times now and each time it’s a disappointment - I won’t be coming back again.

Four of us had early evening dinner before getting train home from Victoria. The quality of food and service were both excellent. Much nicer than the huge chain places in the new Victoria developments.

Nice steak restaurant near Victoria station in London. A bit expensive but I suppose that's London in general compared to my home city of Glasgow.

A pretty decent meal. Pumpkin soup was nice but some bread to accompany it would have been nice. Well cooked steak and veg. Cheese was disappointing: expensive supplement was charged for 3 rather underwhelming pieces of cheese with 5 small biscuits and some grapes. I dined with a work group and on that basis it was OK and the service was good given they were dealing with 20 of us. I admit to being a grinch as I tend to feel I eat best at home, so most places struggle to compete with that. It was OK.

Restaurant is half empty and lady at reception says no tables available! Disappointing for local clients

Lovely environment. Friendly but young staff, seem to be more interested in clearing tables than serving. Food was average pub grub at best. We had calamari, cauliflower and courgette starters, all quite bland. Burger was ok. Cauliflower cheese was good, but too salty Filet was cooked well, but sauce wasn’t great. Please go eat at black lock to learn about flavour…. Or even Roxie steak house. The dessert tasted like it had zero sugar in it. Fundamentally the flavours were not balanced at all. How you got your ratings is a mystery!! Try harder….

I had dinner here with friends last night and was reminded how perfect this place is for a meal that is delicious, reasonably priced, a great location (the courtyard is charming and conveniently close to Victoria station) and professional service. The steak was excellent but the vegetarian options were pretty good too.

Went for a works Xmas meal. There was a large group of us. The staff were excellent and service second to none! Couldn’t do enough for you. Food amazing. Cannot fault this place, would definitely go back.

The steak was way too charred and just tasted of burnt meat. Wagyu was not as buttery as it should have been and the sides were bland.

Very good place to have a Sunday roast. We came here from the United States and our cab driver said we had to try a Sunday roast somewhere and this was our place and it was incredible.

Came here on a whim to meet my friend for my birthday meal, however my friend cancelled last minute. I decided to stay as the wait staff were so lovely and the food was amazing. They brought me out a decorated dessert and card from the staff; honestly one of the most touching moments I’ve ever had from a day gone wrong! I can’t even recommend this place enough as the steak was perfect and the truffle fries were the best I’ve ever had. An extra shoutout to An & Riccardo, they are a credit to the business and I’m actually planning to tell my friend about this place for her next big event as everything was 10/10 and I will be coming here again shortly <3

Was turned away from this restaurant after a group of men were given a table. Me and my wife were told to come back in an hour for a table and when asked if we could sit at the bar we were told we could not. We asked why the men in front of us were offered a table and we were told they were only getting drinks and when we said we would like that as well we were told no by the host. We felt ostracized and disappointed by this establishment and won’t be returning back.

We were a party of 5 last night at Jones Family Restaurant. We have been to this restaurant several times before but last night was a huge disappointment. 2 of our party ordered main course Steak Tartare, when they arrived they were so dry without any of the normal seasonings/capers or other ingredients. We sent them back and the kitchen prepared 2 fresh Steak Tartares which quite frankly were not much better. We have had Steak Tartare at the restaurant before and they had been delicious but this time they were very disappointing. The other 3 of our party had the Sirloin Steak which was well cooked - Medium Rare but presentation was non existent, White Plate with just the steak, no garnish whatsoever again disappointing. Our waitress was as helpful as she could be. For the price I personally expect better. I will certainly think twice about returning to the restaurant.

The Italian owner is friendly and advises you on what to eat.. very nice place and excellent meat.. Too bad the bill was €210 for two steaks for 3... without wine and without desserts just a potato as a side dish.. it could have been a little more sincere..

The stake being undercooked is not a big deal but chips being undercooked twice is truly a feat the chips are advertised as triple cooked . They were soggy and raw both times . And while the manager was doing his best , the waitresses scurried around almost shy to speak to guests . I do have to add the drinks were terrible the spicy margarita was a Luke warm cup of tequila which was also forgotten .all in all other than a star manager who was great. paying a full bill when my entire meal was a series of mistakes, makes no sense to me at all . Somehow even the desert was a disappointment which yes was complimentary. Oh and I forgot to mention dirty bathrooms . There’s only so many times you can complain to a manager about things before it becomes annoying.

My friend and I happened upon this place when we didn't have a reservation dinner for the evening. What a great surprise and experience it was. While the martinis flowed, we enjoyed a delightful service and delicious steaks and sides. The interior of the restaurant was carefully curated and well appointed. The food was the star of the show though!

Needed to fulfil my need for steak while visiting London from Canada. Found JFK close to our hotel and we are glad we did. I’ll start with service. They were so wonderful from the second we entered until the moment we left. Appetizers were amazing. Steak main was the best we ever had, both cook and quality of meat. Drinks were on point. Our first visit I had a beautiful perfect cook medium rare ribeye, my wife a perfect medium tenderloin. Accompanied with an outstanding red wine jus and bernaise. And a side of truffle chips. It was so good that we had to return a few days later. We started with sourdough bread and the squid that I cannot recommend enough. I had the 32oz Prime Rib cooked to a perfect medium Rare. Which may ruin steak for me going home. It was so delicious. Highly recommend visiting The Jones Family Kitchen of Belgravia

Had breakfast meeting at this beautiful place during my visit to London. It turned out to be a lucky place. Had salmon on toast. The salmon was overpowering with too much horseradish which made it difficult to eat other than everything else was superb!

Average food, overpriced. Meal infested by bees. Service ok, attacked by a rude manager. We had lunch Jones Family Kitchen, explicitly asking to sit outside to enjoy the limited sun London gets and mentioning some of us were in a rush. They waitress (who was at least very kind) took ages to come ask us for our order, so much that some of us had to leave. As soon as our starters came out to we were attacked by a swarm of bees but decided to stay outside rather than moving inside (note the staff didn’t ask us if we wanted to move inside). To be able to eat we decided to catch some of the bees with our glasses instead of killing them as the waitress suggested and other tables were doing. We caught about 10, managed to eat our meal and planned to free them as soon as we finished (all still alive!). As we paid our bill we asked multiple waiters if they wanted us to free the bees or if they wanted to do it later so that other people could enjoy their meals. They all asked to please not to free them, and so we did. As we are walking out of the restaurant the manager abruptly stopped us and demanded we go back to our table and give him back the glasses we used to trap the bees, apparently the waiters were “afraid to free the bees and being attacked”. When we explained that we had already asked the waiters if they wanted to free the bees, the manager replied that he didn’t care about that or about our “silly games with bees”. Once asked what he thought we should have done he replied “you could have killed the bees as far as I’m concerned as far as you let my staff do their job”. We kept arguing for a bit and then decided to leave. Being treated like this when you are trying to be considerate towards both other customers and the lives of bees is really unacceptable. Even more so when you pay £80 pp for average food, mediocre service and an overall unpleasant meal. Would not recommend

We were there for a quick meal before a show and had a lovely experience. The food was incredible, the service was thoughtful, and Vicky especially went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed. She truly enhanced our experience. We would come back anytime and are looking forward to our next visit.

We were looking for a restaurant with showers to be able to have lunch in peace. We found it. The dining room staff were really helpful. Among other things, the manager, Riccardo, is professional and at the same time makes you feel at ease. If we return to London it will definitely be a next stop. Congratulations and good work

The steaks were sublime. All the sides were great, I really enjoyed the spring greens. The chips were a bit average in my opinion, I like them super crispy, but I enjoyed the rest of the meal too much to care. They have some great wines.

This is a lovely restaurant located inside the Ecclestone Yards. When our 4-year old son wanted to have a dinner in the city, we chose the place based on proximity to Victoria station and reviews. I am glad we did so. Both times ee have been there the food was great and staff was very friendly. The second time we couldn’t get the table our son wanted so he was a bit fussy but our waiter, Ersin, really helped our son settle and allowed us to have a wonderful evening.

I've lived in this area for almost 20 years and never knew about Eccleston Yard. What a hidden gem...and within this hidden gem is another rare find: The Jones Family Kitchen. The restaurant is beautiful, and the outside seating area has all the right ingredients for a lazy summer's evening meal. The service was impeccable; our waiter Ivan was friendly, personable and very helpful with all of our choices. When the food arrived, a Chateaubriand to share, it was melt-in-the-mouth. A faultless dining experience from start to finish!

Walked in for lunch and had a pleasant experience. I picked their preset 2 course menu and began with a Bloody Mary that was nicely spiced and contained a fair amount of alcohol. As the appetizer I picked the soup. It was somewhat bland until I reached the feta cheese which added a nice sourness to the flavour. Would recommend more generous amount of the feta in the soup. For the main, I ordered the steak which came out perfectly medium rare with a nice sear and an appropriate amount of salt. The service was attentive and kind. 4.5/5.

We had a lovely lunch. The Mac & cheese was outstanding! The food was surprisingly good value for London. What made it really stand out for us was the service - the staff really engaged with us and wanted us to have a good experience. Defo would go again.
