Had my son's birthday here, really friendly staff & great atmosphere.

driver went to wrong address and when he arrived didn't know the code had to show him the order on my phone poor service from the delivery agent

Had been craving a Wimpy for a while and I was not disappointed. The quarter pounder was absolutely delicious!

Watching on screen the driver went in completely the wrong direction. Food not brought in an insulated bag therefore virtually cold. Had to heat it up.

I have received my order an hour after I placed it. The delivery driver was delivering other orders. The service is appalling . I hate just eat. The food is cold.

You forgot to pack a straw to go with the milkshake. That’s the 2nd time you’ve forgot the straw!

The food was delivered on time, but the burgers were cold and the drinks order was missing a peach tea. There was one instead of two. Given the cost of the meal very disappointing

Wow, I hadn't been in one of these in years, many years. The attention to detail far exceeded my expectation for a Wimpy. The staff obviously made the difference here, and I realise that. The staff here are a true credit 👏. The restaurant was clean and tidy with everything in its place. If like me you too haven't been in a Wimpy for many years pop into the Upminster one and be pleasantly surprised.

The driver was late and the food was cold, had to be warmed up in the microwave and the milkshake was melted. The driver appeared to have other deliveries on the way which meant our food was cold by the time he got to us.

Loyal customer. They got order wrong and long winded process to refund. Wouldn’t mind but v expensive so they should make sure they get the order right. Will not be ordering again as a result

Out of all the burger joints in the world, this is and always will be the greatest burger franchise.

Fresh, tasty like always! Can't fault the Wimpy Upminster team! Been eating there since the current owners opened years ago, will always go back! Great food, cooked perfect, wonderful owners!

Today I went into the wimpy on Upminster high street and was really pleasantly surprised. Both mine and my son's burgers and fries were on point. The service was prompt, polite and the venue was both modern, comfortable and very clean. As an added bonus my cappuccino was authentic and lovely. Well done Wimpy Upminster. Other fast food chains could learn a lot from you 👍

Standard fayre and friendly service to a background of Magic radio music made for a pleasant enough lunch in the Upminster branch. SG.

A bright, clean and well aired restaurant on the main road. Usually visit when shopping in Upminster and this visit didn’t disappoint. Menu feels as if it is becoming pricier each visit, but ideal for a quick bite.

I order a lot on uber eats and this is by far one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Still fresh and still piping hot and everything was in good condition! The chef knows what he’s doing! Well done wimpy!

Service is a little lacking but the food was excellent. Probably the best wimpy burgers we've had but the servers were more interested in chatting and had to reminded to take orders etc!

Food arrived quickly and was in general okay. We had an International breakfast and the cheeseburger with milkshakes. The service was a bit of a let down. We were near the counter and the staff personal conversations were really loud which meant that's all we could hear. No server smiled when coming over to us or greeting us and were more focused on their own conversations unfortunately.

Went here last evening on my own for my dinner. The girl who served me was nice & friendly and my food was served hot & fresh. Lovely big burger & chips. Better than those big fast food chains who serve rubbish food. Will definitely be returning soon with my family. Hope this Upminster Wimpy never shuts. 👍

Went here for lunch. The food was nice, maybe a bit on the expensive side. The service was quick and efficient.

Terrible place. The waitress is so unwelcoming. The food is a joke. The burger is so simple, and tasteless. The salad is nothing else just vegetables without any dressing. Cappuccino and the tea were good. You need code to use the toilet but they are not giving the code to it when you order. Very disappointed with this place.

I didn’t receive 2 ice creams ( paid 4 two) only got 1

I like coming here. Nice atmosphere, you can see that in burgers is actual meat, fresh vegetables and not some fake stuff, service needs a little bit of improvement though :)

I waited 8 minutes for coffee while no one was in line. and they talked to each other like it was the norm. I was also late for them for 2 buses. thank you.

Popped in this time before a business meeting and after one the previous time. We all say it “ not been to a Wimpy since I was a kid” well I must have too I guess. This is a great unpretentious eating place / burger bar offering good food at an affordable price. Very clean, good simple food with speedy service and attentive staff.

The staff were so lovely to me. Wonderful young people. I have always liked Wimpey. It was very nice.

A blast from the past. Have good memories of Wimpy from the 70s as a kid. Would it live up to it. Well I’m happy to say yes it did. I ordered the quarter pounder and the double cheese burger. Both arrived and were hot and very tasty. The burger itself seems to have retained the Wimpy taste. The highlight was the sauce though which I think is even better than the MacDonalds Big Mac sauce. I also added a potion of chips which were very large. The restaurant was very clean and the booths all spotless. Staff were very polite and greeted you on arrival to see if you were eat in or take away. Order was taken quickly and arrived nice and hot. Only negatives are the price was a little on the high side. The mens toilet though clean was Very small with just one lavatory. And the biggest minus was parking. None at all. It’s on the high street almost next to Upminster Station. Very busy and I guess a good reason for its location with a lot of pedestrian traffic . Not so good for those with cars. I had to park in a side street with a 15 min walk. All in all nice to see Wimpy back. And I very much hope the succeed.

The food was delivered quickly and efficiently, and it tasted delicious. The delivery driver was polite and professional, and the app worked well for indicating when the order would arrive too.

Great 'little' Wimpey. Food very good as far as FF goes. The staff are excellent, very friendly especially the servers, great kids. All round, spot on.

Nice restaurant, clean. Nice staff. Great quality food and really good choice. I think it is good value for money too, considering it's quite nutritious unlike the rubbish that the big chains sell. And it's always made fresh and you can eat with utensils instead of like an animal.

Chicken burger was undercooked

We went here for a quick fish and chip dinner before getting the train to London. Wimpy does exactly what it says on the tin! The service was friendly, quick, efficient and the food was just what you would expect. Very good.

Pretty 3xpensive for what it is.

Went to the Wimpy in Upminster on Sunday 30th January 2022. It was supposed to open at 11am, but nobody showed up to open it. Waited around for 20 minutes, still no staff arrived???

I ordered a take away vegan meal at the Upminster Branch on Saturday 22nd January at around 7.30 pm which cost £12.75. The coffee was fine however the meal was not. When I got home to Hornchurch the branch had managed to mix up my meal with one milk shake which was apparantly a Deliveroo order. So this meant I had to drive all the way back to the branch in freezing weather to pick up the right order. I asked for a small discount on the price £2 for the inconvenience. This is not unreasonable. The manager apparantly couldn't do this because it was a genuine mistake. Whilst I completely understand mistakes do happen when I got my food home it was of course stone cold. Since it was close to the branch closing time I didn't want another visit to the branch. The manager should have offered a discount for the error. I suppose the policy is some people try it on. However, the branch knew this was not the case here. But at the very least my meal should have been replaced with a hot replacement. In this instance I will have to regrettably take my complaint further unless the owner can offer a fair and proper solution on line.

Waited 40 mins for my food after it was sent to the wrong person initially. Watched as multiple customers came in after me but were served before me. Had to ask three different staff where my food was/if they knew how long I'd have to wait - none had a clue/none were all that helpful... I think mixing up orders is an easy mistake to make but the way it was handled was pretty poor. Won't be back anytime soon.

Sadly a big let down. Ordered a children’s meal online just after 7pm yesterday, instantly accepted. Then 40mins later the order was cancelled, no explanation, just a cancellation email sent. So my hungry child had to wait even longer while we placed another order elsewhere. Frustrating it took so long to be informed and without any further explanation. Won’t be looking to order from here again.

2 Milkshakes demolished in the bag... food was salvaged called the restaurant to ask for the Milkshakes to get re delivered or atleast a refund. None was sorted. Proper joke

Popped in after a hectic day. The meals came super fast and great staff too but the cappuccino I had tasted horrible. Will definitely come back though

I would give this full stars food fantastic come out quick but cappuccino didn't taste like it at all tasty like a normal coffee that only problem me my brother find you going to Costa she's not going to get a latte at taste like normal coffee that's why is free stars not a 5 or a 4 due that

It wasn't a 5* service. The employee seemed he wanted to be elsewhere. May just have been a bad day for him, but it didn't have to be a bad day for me!
