I wold never go there anymore,as she charged me twice £20 extra,1st time i missed it was to late when i so it ,2nd time i got my money back,i was lucky as I’m receiving texts from my bank,otherwise i will never had known,be careful when pay by phone,always check.!!

i am a regular here and i cannot fault the dinners - the liver and bacon all fresh vegetables all cooked to order. lamb chops well cooked and fresh vegetables. knocks pub dinners out or the water and they cost twice the price - staff friendly and happy to serve you. try it and you will not be disappointed

Friendly staff , great food , great location , prices are good . Also cater for children and types of meals and drinks . Well worth a vist8

My local cafe and what an absolute gem it really is! Busy during peak periods which goes to show how fantastic the food is. Great selection on the menu and paired with the friendly severs it really does make for a great experience. Highlight recommended the breakfasts, burgers and roast dinners.

Popped in New Year's eve for breakfast. Fantastic service, great quality ingredients. The bacon and sausage were several levels up from the norm for a cafe breakfast. Lived in Romford all my life and only just found this Gem. Will definitely be back for breakfast and to try some other menu items

I been to many cafes in my lifetime and this place is amazing it is clean, freindly staff and has best sausages i ever had in a cafe. Most cafe have cheap bland standard sauages but this place has such flavourfull sauages its just perfect and amazing.

Very nice all day breakfast, very clean cafe and friendly staff, only problem they don't let you chop and change items on set breakfast.

Trip advisor is where I found this place. Very good food and ideal for breakfast. One post on trip advisor suggested that this cafe was racist. Well, on my visit there was several tables occupied by Muslims so that post was very wrong. Next time I'm in Romford I'll have breakfast here.

Lovely food friendly staff but only 4 star as cash only.

For ages I've struggled to find a good breakfast in Romford. I'd tried several places and all seemed a bit like a Spanish hotel's vague interpretation of an English Breakfast. You know, a deep fried German sausage, streaky bacon, wierd potato puffs, etc. Then I found North Street Cafe. At last, a great breakfast with lovely sausages and bacon. Everything was beautifully cooked. It wasn't greasy at all. Lovely bubble. And the coffee was great too. Service was quick and friendly. I'd highly recommend them. I've finally found my breakfast place 🙌

Went today with my family. After us 3 more customers came. We were ignored no one took our order but took all the new customers. When we then asked if our order could be taken they took it with few other customers that came in. Then everyone in the cafe had their food even people that ordered after us but not us. There was no single table left without food apart from us and we were the only muslims and asain there. Left wihout anything wad told they are too busy but i think it was more than that!! Dont go, racist for sure!

Was very early for hospital appointment so decided to stop and have breakfast. Unfortunately I could not finish it as it was so big and very good value for money. If early I would stop off again, but this time, for a smaller breakfast. I highly recommended this place. Must try!

Best place for breakfast in Romford

Nothing special at all and expensive for the quality of food

I had an English breakfast as a visitor to the area and can recommend the Cafe to any one else in the area.

This cafe is ok with a wide selection of dishes. When you go in and sit, if you are on the right you will see, looking to your left a whole mirrored wall which makes the place look huge. Staff are friendly but sometimes slip up when charging you. All in all good food, staff friendly and prices are reasonable.

Been going for a few years, fish friday only .Went today the fish was awful the batter was like it had been reheated and my hubby's was a piece cut in half,with one part empty of fish ..disappointed to say the least

stopped here and parked over the road in matalan. ordered breakfast and an omelette and chips. very impressed bacon was cooked to how we wanted it - eggs done to perfection - no grease - proper thick bread - coffee decent. toilets and cafe clean - service good - prices fair and average would definitely recommend and will use again

I've been to all the cafes in romford. This one is by far the best. Service, value for money, and portions are superb! Heathy options like chicken and rice then theirs the the goto fried breakfast too :)

Great and quick food, and HUGE portions, reasonable prices and very Friendly staff, always smiling, and chatty, And they take credit / debit cards. The staff are always cleaning when I arrive, and by the time I sit down my coffee is on the table, perfect every time.

The North Street Cafe is a brilliant place to get breakfast! Every time I have business down in Romford it's my number 1 stop. The staff are amazing and the food is great. I feel a lot of the time it's under priced and they don't go easy on anything. A truly exceptional place to eat!

Really good food. Quite reasonable prices too. This is the only Essex café I go to now. As the food is tasty. I would recommend the lasagna meal and there fry up especially the English breakfast.

We have been using the cafe now for over a year. 3 to 4 mornings a week normally have coffee/hot choc and toast and sometimes ommlette which is lovely and you get a large portion. Prices are very good. The cafe is also very clean. Staff are great too.

Great little place opposite matalans in north street. Means you can normally park in matalan and pop over there for breakfast pre splurge . I think there's new staff/ management there since I last visited a few years ago. They were chatty and funny. 9 o clock Saturday morning so I chose individual breakfast of eggs bacon mush and Tom's . Dd had egg and sausage baguette. All in with drinks was £10-. My plate was massive ,couldn't eat it all. I am wheat intolerant so can't eat bread. Choosing the items in my breakfast was better than chucking the toast away. Every thing clean and tidy , lots of staff. We will b back

Popped in here for lunch and ordered the Friday fresh fish special. Enormous, succulent fish with chips and salad way exceeded our expectations. Delicious and excellent value at £6.00. Will return when we're in the area.

Nice place, clean and friendly We're vegetarians and have plenty of options here. There's two set vegetarian breakfasts plus loads of other options

Caught out in traffic and fancied a quick bite. Bacon and bubble to start the day with a strong coffee.... Wow best coffee in ages just beautiful and bubble was s meal in itself. I looked around and found the "builder bunch" tucking into a mountain of food. It looked gorgeous and smelt devine so if you fancy a Breakie to die for go for it !!

Nos asista a este café cada par de semanas, la comida no es genial, pero qué se puede esperar de su cafetería. Hemos visto otras personas tienen problemas por no conseguir su comida pero no nos había sucedido hasta hoy. Nos sentamos a pedir sandwich de salchicha y una tortilla y patatas fritas. (no el más duro del mundo) comida mía llegó después de 10 minutos nos acercamos al personal después de todo el café había conseguido su comida alrededor de otros 15 minutos más tarde. Es cierto, viene fue la respuesta agitó. Una nueva multitud llegó y de nuevo todo el café se servía la comida. De nuevo pedimos la comida, cuando no puedes pedir? Cuando llegamos, no nos hemos preparado! No hace falta decir que nos fuimos y nunca volveremos. Hay muchas otras cafeterías de la zona. También me gustaría decir que las personas que estábamos sentados allí cuando llegamos era la última para ser servido en comparación con gente nueva entrando y no parece contenta en cuánto tiempo hubieran esperado, pero al menos les dieron su comida.
