Absolutely first-rate! Thai Taste has an unusually complete menu with many dishes not often found in other restaurants, and what we had was exceptionally good. We are fans of Thai cuisine, and this is one of the best restaurants we have experienced. Both dishes we had were new to us. The duck curry had ample meat, and somehow a savory quality despite the presence of a piece or two of pineapple and even a lichee. The sauce was of medium density and very complex. There are three bass filet options on the menu, something we have not encountered before in a Thai restaurant. The fish arrives at the table looking somewhat naked and bland, but it actually was replete with full-bodied flavor. We had mango with sticky rice for dessert, and even this standard dish seemed unusually good. The mango was a generous amount and perfectly ripe, and the rise, more sticky than elsewhere, had a complexity of flavor beyond the traditional coconut. The restaurant is small, seating perhaps twenty diners and is wonderfully quiet and serene. There is carefully chosen background music which is actually enjoyable rather than irritating.

Really good Thai meal. Very authentic feel and taste to the food. Red curry was superb. Portion size was just right and the dips were spot on.

First time at this restaurant which was quiet when we entered but filled up rapidly after we had ordered.Food arrived quickly and was excellent.Thai green curry was exactly as expected.Identical to Thai restaurants we frequent in Edinburgh.

Found this excellent Thai restaurant on Monday 16th Sept. Staff courteous and very knowledgeable about their menu. Had a chilli pork, fried rice dish. Up there with my favourite dishes of all time. Delicious. My wife Lynsey had a delicious chicken dish. Definitely go back next time we are in London.

We were staying locally and decided to try for a table without booking. The staff were very obliging and set a table for us. Extensive menu, which did not disappoint, the food was really good and friendly staff.?

There is a foreign lady here who can speak some Chinese and can recommend dishes~

After a full day of travel, we searched for a nearby Thai restaurant and stumbled upon Thai Taste on Cromwell. Cute, white table cloth service with a wonderful menu and drink menu. We opted for a few simple appetizers and the Tomcha Coconut soup with chicken. Excellent flavors and served hot, which is often rare. Definitely recommend for in restaurant service or take-out!

Besides the place they had for us, which was right next to the prep area, and the service which was a bit confused (dishes came out with rather big gaps in between) everything was pretty good, and the food was very tasty. Not cheap though

Out in London on business with colleagues, this was our 2nd visit to Taste Thai. The food is exceptional, freshly prepared and seriously packed with flavour. The Pla Red Prik, Shallow fried fillets of whole sea bass dressed with homemade sweet chilli sauce and Thai basil leaves is off the planet tasty, others had Weeping Tiger which was not quite as hot as expected, but still good and all in all, a brilliant place to get some authentic Thai cuisine.

Really good food at a reasonable price

Dropped in for dinner after visiting museums. Found the food fresh and flavorful. Chicken with ginger was perfect! Corn cakes very yummy. Would come here again and again.

Thai Taste is a small cosy restaurant serving delicious Thai food. Our welcome was warm and friendly and the complimentary prawn crackers was a nice touch. Being a small restaurant there is a need to turn round tables quickly and, although they ask that you vacate your table within 90 minutes, we never felt rushed. Portion sizes are just right and it is great to be treated to delicious food at a reasonable cost. We would have no hesitation in recommending Thai Taste to potential diners.

Me and my friend went to London for 3 days and stayed at Kensington Hotel. Across the road there was a Thai restaurant called “Thai Taste”. We decided to pop in for lunch before travelling back to Plymouth. The food was amazing, potion was bigger than expected. Service was excellent and definitely visit again in the future. Highly recommended it.

I had Fried Rice 🍚 & Spicy Chicken 🍗.

Atmosphere was posh, somewhat elegant. Unless you're led to their basement seating, it's a couple of steps down (pun intended). Food was average, similar to what you'd get from other Thai restaurants - couldn't find any that'd pop and make it stand out from the others. Can't complain, the food was still A-Okay. Service was quick, no complaints there.

The squid was dry and didn't taste fresh, we asked for another portion which wasn't much better. The noodles were tasteless and were stuck together, we had to ask for some oil and soy sauce. The restaurant was ok but I wouldn't choose to go back.

We tried Thai Taste on a recent visit to London. It's just opposite the Park International Hotel on the Cromwell Road and unless you go looking for it, you wouldn't give it a second glance. As they say, don't judge a book by it's cover - give it a try. The food was excellent. The restaurant was quite busy and there was a nice relaxed vibe about it. They also seem to do a lot of Take Away trade so they must be doing something right! We had the chicken skewers to start with Satay and Palm Sugar dips, which were both delicious. I had the sizzling steak for mains and my wife had the Chilli Chicken. Both dishes were lovely. My only quibble would be I had to pay nearly £8 for a portion of noodles. The rice at £3.50 was much more reasonable. I had a glass of wine, which wasn't expensive by London prices. We were staying at the nearly Baileys Hotel, which was a 3 minute stroll away. It's convenient for both Gloucester Road and Earls Court Tube Stations and it will definitely be going on our list of London restaurants.

Small cosy restaurant. Very friendly staff. We went for a birthday meal and fully enjoyed it. I would recommend booking as it's very popular with not many covers.

Booked here as had Gluten free options, main course choices were plentiful and even managed a starter and dessert too. Food was authentic and delicious and was a nice lovely atmosphere with many diners in on a mid week night. Would highly recommend.

As a Korean, I reccomend this restaurant if you want to try a real authentic Thai food. And the service was great. Super kind and friendly. And before your main dish served, they provide shrimp snack for free which is really tasty. You will not regret. I highly reccomend Phat tai..crazy..so good. For those who want to eat real Thai food, I highly recommend this place. It's delicious. The staff are also really friendly and nice. I was completely satisfied. Pad Thai was really great.

Accidentally found this gem at Cromwell Road. The fried rice taste good cause the restaurant using good quality padi. The thick green curry with rice coconut milk makes me feeling as if I am having this in Thailand. Of course, the mixed stir fried vegetables and crispy duck rolls both are delicious. Sawadikap and thanks to the polite young and pretty lady who gives us a warm welcome.😃👍🏼

Exactly how it looks. Food delicious. Abit far from South Kensington Station/Royal Albert Hall. (Approx 30 minute walk). Very welcoming and kind.

Second visit great food again, just need to slow down! Starter taken on finishing and main within 2 mins. Bill comes with machine and stand waiting while I check it. All very rushed yet very quiet and no demand for tables. I will be back but look forward to a slower more relaxed experience!

This is one of the best Thai 🇹🇭 restaurant in London. Food so healthy and they only using good quality ingredients, service is good. Fully recommend if you want really delicious authentic Thai food.

From the outside it looks quite cozy, but inside it looks a bit like a restaurant that has reached its peak. The starter is a soup that is actually quite good, The main course is completely tasteless, by the way we waited an hour for it, but it was okay quickly when they discovered they had forgotten us. Payment was a strange experience, the host seemed angry when I just wanted to see what we had to pay for. Not a place we recommend

Very good service and an excellent authentic Thai meal. Highly recommended with reasonable prices. Only thing worth noting was there was 2 bones in the fillet of sea bass we ordered.

Not the best looking restaurant or the most comfortable seats but the food is really tasty. Staff are pleasant. Seems to be more of a Deliveroo place though which was a bit off putting with them back and forward behind you.

Small restaurant close to our hotel...we were a bit concerned we might be the only diners having walked past a couple of times during the couple of days we were in London. However it filled up over the time we were dining & the food was just lovely, as were the staff. One tip...I would request a table away from the door, as there were frequent takeaway delivery drivers at the door for collections, so given the freezing temperatures outside there was a distinct coolness. As its a galley style restaurant, all the tables are in a row along one wall, so request towards the back of the restaurant if its cold outside!

Very nice Thai curries, stir fry’s and noodles. I recommend the chili fried squid as a starter. Best to get there early as they don’t stay open past 10:30

What a great find! The food is absolutely delicious, so much so that we went on two consecutive nights. We especially enjoyed the curry and stir fries. The setting is lovely and the staff were attentive. Such a shame that we don’t live in London as this would certainly be our regular!

This is a Thai restaurant I have come to regularly for at least 15 years. I’m sure ownership and management has changed numerous times. It is very small and quaint. The atmosphere is great and in the past the service has always been excellent with established staff. However, on New Years Eve this was not the place to be for a nice and quiet dinner. Two of the servers were obviously new, not only to the restaurant but to the service industry. They clearly had no idea what to do and were more than overwhelmed. Plates and glasses were dropped on the floor and broken several times during the time I was there. The yelling between the staff and the manager was embarrassing. I had to continuously ask for the most basic, like napkin, cutlery and plate. The staff was unable to check on any of the guests to see if they needed anything more or if the meal was satisfactory. The discussions between the staff about missed or misunderstood reservations could be overheard by guests. I understand that New Years Eve is a very busy night, so that’s not the night to rely on completely untrained staff. Next time I will order my meal for take out. Somehow the chef has managed to keep the standard of the food at a high level. The food is just as good as always. That’s the only reason I didn’t give 1 star throughout.

We had the Mussaman curry with chicken, Pad Kee Mao, Kao Pad Nham Prek Pao Moo Wan Kai Dao fried rice, and mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything was great! Service was really friendly and attentive.

We had Pad Thai with chicken, pad Thai with tofu and crab curry. All were delicious and presented beautifully. The food was way above that of an average Thai restaurant. The service needs work. The waiter did not know whether they had the ingredients for a Negroni cocktail on the menu- they did not - so we had 3 Cosmopolitans. The pad Thai with tofu came without the tofu🥲🥲🥲

What a fabulous little restraunt. It was opposite our hotel, so we wandered across at about 7.30pm. It was busy but they had a table for two, so we were in luck. Staff were efficient, food arrived quickly. It was gorgeous, we both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kensington.

Lucked out and found this place right by where out Day Trip dropped off. It was not too busy, lucky for us. Service was excellent. Food very good. We had Thai iced teas, Yellow curry, Chicken Satay, Kao pad beef. All very good!

We are from Thailand and visit UK for few week. We ordered tum yum kung and kra prow .... tum yum kung is so good and better than many places in Thailand. Kra prow is salty to us but we believe that it will be "aroi mak" very delicious to people here. Recommend this place. And this is my first review that I think people must try!!! Oh, for dessert, we orderd klou bod shee ... it's good too

Authentic Thai food – particularly enjoyed the green curry chicken, which I normally find too strong – it was just right here. Average size portions, good cold beer, and competent service. We’d be happy to return.

Kleines aber feines thailändische Restaurant zwischen den Tube Haltestellen Earls Court und Gloucester Road. Direkt an der Hauptstrasse. Kann man leicht übersehen. Tolle Karte mit sehr, sehr leckerem Essen. Hier finden sowohl Vegetarier als auch Fleischesser eine tolle Auswahl an Gerichten. Spitzen, aufmerksamer Service. Man sollte am Wochenende reservieren, da es schnell voll wird.

Please don't go there. Food is below average and overpriced. I bought 2 items from there and they charged 52 pounds. The portion was so small and the taste was also not good. I had to dig into the egg-fried rice to find eggs. Worst ever restaurant in my life. If I had gone to another restaurant I could have enjoyed standard food at this price.

We ate here on a Sunday night as it was close to our hotel. We walked in to a completely empty restaurant but this soon filled up. Greeted by a host oh was shy or just not engaging. Served very swiftly and ordered. Starters arrived which were delicious. These were soon cleared and we were told to keep our cutlery. (Mistake nbr 1).......we declined and asked for fresh cutlery. They then brought out the plates for our Main Courses ......(mistake nbr 2).....these were stone freezing cold......shame.....at least warm the plates up. Mains arrived and like the starters, were absolutely delicious. .........nice little restaurant with great food, but 2 small important things let them down. Would return if they could up their game with the points mentioned.

This place is a hidden gem In Gloucester. The food is good, but the portions are small and it takes forever for the food to come out.

I am a Thai aficionado, and this was by far the best Thai food I have ever had. Everything is cooked to order. The food is delivered piping hot and deelish. Would highly recommend to like-minded Thai Foodies.

THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE BAD THING WE ORDERED. The starters (satay chicken, prawn spring rolls and pepper squid) were delicious and cooked to perfection. The mains were big, authentic and yummy I could not recommend more. The massaman curry was top teir. While the sticky rice was extremely sticky and service was slow so don’t expect it be a quick meal, I cannot find a reason not to return and will be coming back next time I’m in london.
