This is now a vegan restaurant. They converted 18 months ago. So be prepared. mock beef, pork, fish and duck. I think I was just shocked my favorite, that I've been coming to in years, near a tube station restaurant converted. The food, I didn't know what to order, the familiar comfort food menu is gone, vegan beer, all fine, service as great as ever. It's akin to the shock of hearing one of your best mates is now beginning transitioning. Just, the relationship has somehow changed.

This place is a very conveniently placed if you are staying in Earl’s Court area! The food itself is quite nice but could be better. The restaurant is located a few minutes from the station. Sadly it is open only until 9pm. When arriving we were greeted and taken to our table which was in the corner which was quite a nice place to sit as it wasn’t too loud and visible to everything. The food was rather average, don’t misunderstand, we had 2 meals which were shared. One of those was amazing which was a green Thai curry. The other meal was average, the vegetables weren’t fresh, the noodles were tasteless, and the dish was covered in chilli which made it almost Inedible. Overall the place was okay, there is room for improvement but still worth a visit. Best place to visit I would say is around 7pm.

It was a recurring theme in so many reviews of the Siam Garden restaurant - good food but lousy customer service (although it seems some people had a ‘miss’ on the food part. So I went back to see if things had improved. They have. The table service was prompt and friendly. Nothing over the top - you won’t get small talk at the Siam Garden - but the new wait staff have a much better approach to their job. The food? Very good. It probably helps that ate early in the evening - 6pm - but overall the Siam Garden has lifted its game.

I cannot convey how rude the male service staff were, I felt like I had gone back in time. They degraded the woman service staff and laughed at customers as they were ordering. The food was okay, the steak was cooked beautifully, but they had no idea about dietary requirements and asked “How gluten free are you?” (I am a coeliac and have to take food I eat seriously for my health) The food was passable, the service was offensive and embarrassing, from making a song about taking the wine glasses from your table, to speaking in Thai and laughing and pointing at you. Do yourself a favour and eat at one of the many other gorgeous eateries in the area! Do not come to this place, it definitely can be missed!

I actually ordered 2 dishes with Thai milk tea through Deliveroo, they all tasted very nice. The Tom yam soup is very sour and a bit 🌶, so if you are not a sour soup person, you’d better avoid it. Though it is made traditionally, with three big prawns 🍤 inside the soup. Green curry 🍛 tasted a bit creamy and sweet, not spicy at all, which makes me curious about the cause. Perhaps the red pepper or the green pepper inside the curry is what makes it spicy, but fortunately I did not eat them. Thai milk tea is always the best part, it is quite different from Chinese bubble tea, which of course, you should try both.

It was relatively empty when we walked in on a weekday. They let us have the table nearest to the door, which was good so that my elderlies need not walk further into the restaurant but it didn't turn up that good after we sat down as it was very windy. It became crowded nearer to lunch hours. Food and drinks were served relatively fast but got cold very fast because of the wind from the door. Frankly, I can't recall if the food is good except that we hurried to finish the food before they turned cold. Toilet on the second floor was clean.

The service was fast but the place was almost empty, I was asked if I wanted a new beer less than half way through my first one (bit pushy) It did the job the meals were finished and up to the point of writing this I have not been sick so it can't be too bad.

Tom Yum with chicken (£ 5.50) could have been more spicy (quite mild and not as hot as the two chilli symbols on the menu indicated). It also needed more depth of flavour. A generous portion of beef Massaman curry (£7.50, plus rice £2.25) had quite a good flavour but was unfortunately really over-sweetened. Again a little more depth and balance required (certainly more fish sauce, and more peanuts too). With a Singha beer (£3.95) the bill came to £21.50, including 12.5% service. Pleasant service and a decent atmosphere. After reviews suggesting that it was comparable to being in Thailand, it came as a disappointment.

Went here with a group of friends, a couple of whom had discovered it on a previous trip to London. I had a simple meal of soup followed by noodles with pork. I'm not that familiar with Thai food, so don't ask me how authentic the food was. But it was delicious, especially the soup (Tom Yum) which comprised a stock with coconut milk, mushrooms and prawns, flavoured with coriander, lemon grass and galangal. The noodle dish (Pad Thai, I think) was filling and tasty, though a little bland to my taste - especially after the highly-flavoured soup. I could have done with a bit more zing and a touch of chilli. But considering the restaurant's location in an expensive part of London, the meal was very reasonably priced: I paid just £23 and that included TWO beers! The location is lovely - off a narrow, village-y street (in Kensington!) with a tiny courtyard at the front. A real hideaway and a rare find. Oh, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. I'll be back!

Found this place purely by accident trying to get out of the rain! The food was absolutely fantastic. Some of the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. Really rich flavours, so much choice in rice alone and the service was very speedy too. Would definitely visit again if in the area

Attended a concert and on way back to hotel decided to look for something to eat. It was late on Sunday (after 10:30) but they were happy to serve us as long as we ordered quickly. Chose soft-shelled crab and hot, spicy seafood. Crab was excellent, although would have liked a little more sauce. Seafood was very hot... but good. People very friendly and served us quickly - would recommend.

This is just of the main road and could be easily passed by, please don't as you would of just missed out on a truly exceptional meal. The owners, staff and a lot of different race people eat in here. Say's it all.Food was superb and the staff couldn't help enough as we went in with a 7 year old.Well priced and not normal chain food.

like these small not prestigeous places in London. Homestyle cooking against reasonable prices. Far from fancy, but good quality for a reasonable price.

Siam Secret, the new name for this restaurant, is tucked away in a side street off the main road through Earl's Court. We had quite a nice dinner there on our last night in London. The menu is extensive, and numbered as well as named for the less adventurous who don't wish to attempt to pronounce the names of Thai dishes. We have many Thai restaurants "back home" in Australia, and unfortunately, as much as we tried to like it, we have to describe the overall experience as rather bland and lack-lustre.My curry had quite a good taste, but not tasty enough, really, and was certainly not interestingly hot as this dish would have been if served in Thailand. Maybe this is a concession to British tastes, I'm not sure. My wife's chili prawns were good and she felt the level of (chili) heat was just about right. The desserts were pedestrian but OK. The waiting staff were very nice people who made us feel welcome. A nice enough experience, but the food was just a little too bland without the spectrum of fresh flavours one normally associates with Thai food. Try it, it may be fine for you!

Went to this restaurant with my husband. We both share the view that the musty smell that hits you when you go in will not be forgotten. However, you soon adapt and dont notice it so much. The decor is a little dated however service was fine and meals quickly served. I had a kind of sweet and sour special which I did not enjoy, totally lacked flavour. My husband's dish was the contrary and he loved it and I wished I ordered it - however I cannot remember what it was called! Average prices. Would I go again, probably not, sorry.

I visited London in December 2015 and stayed in a hotel nearby the Siam Garden, I found the restaurant on the way to the Earls Court tube, it has a lovely out door space fronting the restaurant and the food is the best I've had outside of Thailand! I have returned to London with my wife and we headed straight to the Siam Garden for dinner, we both loved our meals (the Chilli chicken is to die for!!) and will return tonight.I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the food here, I've been to Thailand a number of times and the food at this restaurant is genuine Thai style, I like my chilli meals hot and they deliver!Highly recommended.

This is the former Siam Garden, now renamed Siam SecretThe restaurant was busy; most of the clientele appeared to be tourists from local hotels. We shared a starter of tempura vegetables, OK but nothing special. My main of Pad Thai with chicken lacking seasoning or any real taste. My husband was happier with his chicken massaman.Overall, we felt that little real effort was being made with little necessity to generate repeat business. This was rounded off by a failure to bring back the (small) amount of change from the cash we tendered, even though service had been included.

Tucked in very close to Earl's Court Tube Station, this place is busy! And no wonder as the food is well prepared and the price is right. Hard to find that combination in Kensington, so this deserves a return visit.

Lovely little spot tucked away through a gate. Nice food, quaint decor, reasonably priced for this area. Wine a little pricey, service quite good, wouldn't recommend the "Secret Siam Bomb" dessert though - battered ice cream but very clunky and clumsy thick layering and cheap sauce. Very tasty calamari. A few too many American diners for our liking - but only one or two broadcasting their conversations across the river. Definitely worth popping in if you're in Earl's Court and fancy a nice little dinner.

Have been in Earl's Court area of London and was very disappointed with mediocre restaurants we have visited to date. Pricey and underwhelming. Who stands up for us tourists!Well tonight we visited this restaurant in hope and trepadation!. Initial impression was not good as there was a musty smell about. Having turned down the ubiquitous "table by the window to entice more punters in" table we were eventually seated in a nice table and ordered wine, beer and food! Prices were very reasonable and the good thing is the food matched. Very tasty food and the number of chefs we saw reassure us that it was an authentic Thai restaurant. The staff were very pleasant and the evening left us very satisfied after a less than impressive impression of London restaurants and the value for money. Would recommend this very nice restaurant

This is a surprise. Hidden away in a street i thought i knew only 100m from Earls Court tube station . It is a really nice tasteful interior with extremely friendly helpful staff and delicious food . The surprise is that it is also remarkably good value . I had a Tom yum soup and a King Prawn Thai salad. The salad was delicious but had quite a kick. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. There is a reasonably priced wine list . The bill was £30 for two courses and two glasses of wine.

This restaurant was recommended to me by friends, and like they did, I enjoyed lovely cooking in the form of a starter soup with meatballs, fried dumplings and a chicken&dried chillies stir fry. The latter dish could have had a bit chilli in it, but everything was very, very tasty and satisfying. The staff is very welcoming and offered excellent service from start to finish. It was one of the better thai meals I have had in London.
