Absolutely excellent food, and very lovely staff. I live nearby and go often - it’s the perfect local spot. Never had a dish I didn’t like. Don’t be fooled by appearances on the outside, the place is wonderful inside!

We visit Boqueria regularly. It’s an exemplary local restaurant: the food is excellent but it’s also great for casual drinks and a couple of snacks. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the music is great! Rare in London to find a place that balances a casual environment with superb food, great service and welcoming staff so effortlessly.

I have lived in Battersea for over a decade and often driven past this restaurant and wondered what it would be like inside. Today, I finally took the plunge and was disappointed... Disappointed that I did not try it sooner!! Everything was so delicious and great attention was paid to everything on every plate. The bread, for example, is perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - perfect for soaking up the garlic infused olive oil that the prawns are served in. The tortilla was juicy, eggy and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes.

Second time going and it wasn’t a let down. I definitely recommend their fishy risotto. A cute spot for a date night I would say their broken noodles are average but the fish in it was really tasty and fresh.

Bitterly disappointed at a waste a night. The food was either stone cold or suspiciously steamy (reheated). Prawns were soggy, drowned in oil and garlic yet flavourless.The paella was an abomination. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. If I could give 0 stars I would have

When we arrived restaurant was quiet and just 2 other tables, we was seated and then Waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come to the table and ask what we wanted, after I went to ask for some service. The food was ok but the 4 plates we ordered came out 10 minutes apart. Service wasn’t good considering the restaurant was empty.

Place is nice and cosy, service is attentive. Food was a bit of a letdown, ups and downs. It all felt a little bit on the heavy side, not "fresh" or authentic enough. My favorite dish was probably the pan y tomate, the freshest, less overcomplicated or overseasoned. Not really sold on this, had better tapas in the city.

Great tapas restaurant. Really enjoyed croquetas and salad with goat cheese. The huevos rotos were not my favorite as the chips were quite hard and the jamon wasnt to my personal taste. Chipirones , the little squids were quite good. Id love to see the outside area with a little more open space and airy. The service was really nice! Thanks

We love our tapas and visit all over Spain including San Sebastian to enjoy tapas. Boqueria is the closest that we have found in the UK who not just has the traditional tables and bar to eat from but most importantly captured the true flavour of Spain. Service is attentive and friendly, prices very good for the quality of the food and drinks but recommend that you book. Bravo to the Boqueria and Jaime 🇪🇦

Very affordable Spanish restaurant, compromise on service and atmosphere (very tight tables) but food was decent. We enjoyed the paella and chipirones (baby squid). The whole seabass was too sour - I think it was marinated in vinegar before fried, which is completely unnecessary!

The best of the best of the best in Spanish food. The best patatas bravas not even in Spain. Croquettes that make you drool. Extremely nice staff. An employee, Úrsula, a real charming girl. It was a pleasure and I would repeat it daily. Due to the quality of the products, it is NOT expensive at all. All real Spanish. They put Torrada tapa with tomato and ham.

The food overall was far too salty , with the steak and chimichurri almost inedible , service was slow despite there only being four tables , one being clearly filmed for promotional footage , receiving dishes quickly despite not being eaten , whilst other tables were left waiting . We were left waiting in between individual small plates - some arriving lukewarm, and it was difficult getting table service despite staff being huddled around the bar area unoccupied. I was disappointed as I’d enjoyed the food previously , but this experience has put me off .

Recommendation from my son, absolutely delicious food, think my favourite was the duck, avocado with tuna, the dishes were all exquisite, as for the baked cheesecake wow! Attentive waitress, shall be back!

Really tasty tapas, slightly over priced but lovely service and food to make up for it

We have lived in the area for years and I now wished we had discovered Boqueria earlier! We had the papatas bravas (so crunchy!) and the tortilla (with creamy egg yolk inside) for starters - so simple but so perfectly executed! For mains, we ordered the chicken paella which was very generous but maybe a tad too salty and the pork, which was paired with an unusual lemon sorbet (it works!). For desserts, we had the cheesecakes (burnt and pistachio), which were a perfect way to finish off our meal. The meal was really fairly priced for the quality of the food. I have been to many tapas/Spanish restaurants in London and this one is definitely up there. We will come back!

Really enjoyed the food and wine

This was without doubt one of the best meals of my life. I came here earlier in the week with a party of ten, the wine was excellent, the service was friendly, funny and enthusiastic and the food was just delicious. The pork cheek and sorbet was incredible! I will without a doubt be back 😋😋

You can enjoy delicious Spanish cuisine at affordable prices. It has a great atmosphere and is in a good location, right next to Battersea Park. It takes some time for the food to be served, so we recommend that you eat with plenty of time to spare. It was a shop that I would definitely like to visit again :)

Dining with family. Excellent service and good wine choice. As a vegetarian thoug, the menu was sparsely populated with veggie options. Fine for meat eaters though.

Food is decent, nothing amazing or remarkable, but not bad, price is ok compared to other Spanish restaurants nearby, but tortilla was quite dry and small, Brindisa just 10mins away has better quality and flavours in my opinion for pretty much the same price.

I went with my sister to have dinner and it was an incredible experience. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly personnel and given recommendations for food and drink. The wine was amazing, and the food even more so. If you like Spanish food and a comfortable ambiance, I would highly recommend.

One of the best Spanish tapas in London. Pretty expensive, but the food is absolutely high quality.. everything is pretty oily , so don't exaggerate if you are delicate with your stomach. It is located literally behind Battersea park station, so easy to reach it!

Booked table for large group weeks in advance. Despite ample notice and menu choices already made in advance, we hadn’t finished the meal after 2h (with kids) and had to leave without waiting any longer for the main courses. Disappointingly slow for a tapas restaurant with a pre-booked set menu. Avoid with large groups - they can’t cater for them adequately.

The most fabulous restaurant we’ve visited in a while. The staff are wonderful & nothing is too much trouble. Really lovely vibe here. Very talented chef & every dish we tried was outstanding. Just myself & husband went on the first evening, we loved it so much, we went back the following evening as a party of 6. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I recommend this place, because it has delicious food, the croquettes, the rice, everything, absolutely everything is great, the staff is very friendly, they serve you very well, they are always looking out for you, the manager is a very attentive guy, he was always aware of everything It was perfect, we really enjoyed the service and the food. Food was very good, although in common with these places came far too quickly. Unfortunately the service was not. It was fine when they noticed you but I gave up trying to order a 2nd beer as the waitresses refused to look our way. We were about to pay at the till when they eventually noticed us.

Great Spanish tapas, I particularly enjoyed the croquetas and jamon. Make sure you ask them for some hierbas to finish the night. Amazing local! Went here couple of times after and it just never disappoints

Excellent tapas - classics and innovative dishes. The belly pork and beef marrow with mushrooms were a highlight - and the French toast with cinnamon was sublime. Service was great and friendly. Very glad to find this local.

I recently dined at Boqueria and was thoroughly impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I can’t recommend Boqueria enough for a fantastic dining experience.

Dined on a Friday night and sat on the terrace which was covered because of weather. The tapas were excellent as was the paella that we shared between three. Limited deserts mainly cheesecake but tasty nonetheless. Well priced this is not an expensive place. The only negative was that there was a large table nearby which unfortunately was very noisy in the confines of the terrace but no much the staff could really do as customers were just enjoying themselves

Siempre elegimos la Boqueria para comer con amigos o celebrar ocasiones especiales como cumpleaños. Normalmente vamos con nuestros dos hijos y el servicio es muy amable y ayuda en lo que puede la comida está muy buena y tiene unos precios bastante razonables . Siempre que vamos, salimos encantados

Desde el pan con tomate, alioli, chorizo, jamón ibérico, croquetas hasta el arroz negro… pasando por el cheesecake, todo lo que pedí nos gusto. Sin duda el mejor restaurante español qué hayamos probado y en Londres! Difícil de superar para los viajeros del mundo!

The waiters were excellent but the food took forever

Had dinner with relatives. Actually the main dish size and the tapas size is not that different so best to order different tapas instead because you can try more things for less money. But overall food is well seasoned but the serving is too little for the main dish in my opinion.

I've eaten here a couple of times now, and I look forward to the next time. For me, eating out is half about the food, and half about the place. The food is really really good. We were a big table and ordered a variety of dishes, with a bit of cheeky sharing going on. Everything I tasted was excellent, and clearly cooked with passion. I sent my compliments to the chef and the kitchen. The place is warm, welcoming and friendly. On the day I was there, the staff were very attentive, engaging, funny but also efficient. Top marks.

Always a pleasure visiting la Boqueria. We often go there just for a quick tapas with a nice cold beer or a glass of wine. Excellent value!! We really enjoyed the little fried squids 🐙 chipirones and the Oxtail rice!!
