One of the famous burger restaurants in London The burger was above average (Smashburger) Buffalo chicken burger...very ordinary The chicken wings were delicious And onion rings... regular and full of oil The place is not big...and crowded The service is nice..

First time we eat there. Highly recommended, we will repeat

Honest burgers is a great little chain. Fresh burgers, fries, etc. all freshly cooked. The service was very good, efficient and relaxed. We were a table of 3, and we were served within 10-15 minutes. The double smash burger was excellent, as were their Rosemary Fries and onion rings. It's a smaller branch, with some communal larger tables.

UPDATE: visited today. what a change. i stood waiting to be seated (it was virtually empty) whilst staff larked around and sat around ignoring me. i ended up having to call out a couple of times and even had to whistle to get their attention at one point. not that they took any notice. ordinarily i would have walked out but i was meeting someone. FINALLY got sat down. i wasn't rude to the waitress, despite being annoyed. eventually i got asked if i wanted to order (a drink). when the food arrived (wasn't too long a wait, about right).... the onion rings were great, i didn't eat the burger until much later (i took it away.... burgers still amazing). but the fries were AWFUL. they'd obviously been recooked and just left to go cold. definitely not fresh. but i ate them because it was about 4pm and i hadnt eaten all day. a couple hours later, i was sick - stomach ache, sudden and fast nausea and vomiting. it was DEFINITELY these fries. i don't know what was done to them but i knew they weren't right and obviously should have said something at the time. that waitress, and whoever thought those fries were okay to send out have really let the brand down. i won't be back, ever. there was another couple in there and they looked miserable. i don't know why but could it be they were having a similar experience...? Just been for our tea here tonight and it was fantastic. We called the night before to take a look at the kids menu and the waiter was very helpful and friendly and really made it an easy decision to go there for our tea. The same waiter was there tonight and served us and he was great with the kids really friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, came out quick and perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this honest burger to anyone

Painfully average tasting burgers, I didn’t really understand the hype - maybe we just went on a bad day. We were first served the wrong order and when we realised AFTER we had touched the food, we told the waitress, she came and apologised and gave the food directly to the table directly behind us, which came as a shock because she didn’t even offer them fresh food, just gave them the ones we had handled. Wouldn’t come back here personally, chips were overcooked and hard (not crispy, HARD)

Delicious food! The chips were interesting as they were small, but it helped for the rosemary seasoning and frying a delightful change to typical English chips.

I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to !! Went here after a long day at college and decided to try honest burger for the first time. Left with it being my favourite place!! I ordered the tribute burger with rosemary fries was absolutely delish the portion sizes are perfect and the food was nice and hot 10/10 will come again

The burger small and mediocre and the fries were terrible, hard and all skin with no potato. The service was confused and for the price it is poor value for money. Also, it is not clear why it is called ‘Honest’, what is honest about the food when it is standard fast food.

You can't go wrong with a double smash burger and pint of Nico Lager. Great value. Absolutely delicious 😋 Oh and the bacon gravy is a must!!

What a disappointment! I love Honest Burgers and having been to several other ones around London I was excited for this meal. However, having asked for my burger medium rare, it came out totally undercooked and even raw in places. They did change the meal but the manager was totally rude and defensive the manager paying our bill. Explaining that's how they do their burgers, which it clearly is not and should not be the case!

The food is really good, but BE CAREFUL, there is a gang there that steals from people while they eat (especially cell phones). They come to the table like beggars and distract the guests with conversations. The waiters know about it, but don't say anything until AFTER. One should get an earlier warning from the waiters/owners.

Awesome stop for a delicious lunch. I would highly recommend the pesto chicken burger and buffalo burger. Very friendly staff and attentive to allergies and intolerance.

Fast service and solid burgers. Not too many seats inside but they have outdoor seating as well. Favourites are the double smashed burger, honest burger, buffalo chicken burger and waterloo burger. Also no surprise but fries were fresher eating in compared with delivery.

Another excellent branch of honest burgers, the unique local burger was delicious and I also enjoyed the local lager. Cannot recommend highly enough, one of the most reasonably priced and best value restaurants you can find, specially in London.

I had the Tribute Burger which is really good, and I recommend going there especially for their rosemary fries which are absolutely magical!

Fine burgers, friendly staff, but the most dreary burger restaurant I have ever eaten in. It needs a complete makeover, some music and a bit of life and energy.

It was the first restaurant I ate at on my first trip to Europe two years ago, and I only have good memories. Even though I went to the store late, I was impressed by how friendly the employees were. Two people ordered one coke, but they said it was a mistake and gave us one more. Thank you. And it was nice to see them having fun while wearing something on their heads.

The Honest Burgers restaurant chain is consistent with its good quality and taste. The restaurant is kept clean, although a little small. Therefore the restaurant feels very cramped. But the food is convincing. The fries are crispy and the burger was juicy. There is a deduction for the amount of oil. The dishes are each very fatty and fattening. But if you want to treat yourself, you've come to the right place.

Tasty burgers and super friendly staff!

Honestly, this is my absolute must-go place to eat when I come to London. Their gluten free bun is a step above. It’s the only bun that doesn’t dissolve like paper while eating it. The portion sizes are just right and the prices are good. Obviously, this is my most favorite burger in all of the UK, Europe, and America, so it has that going for it, too. I’ve not been to a bad Honest Burger location, so this review fits every one I’ve visited in London.

Excellent burgers, very friendly staff

I recently visited Honest Burgers Waterloo and had a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who provided excellent service. I tried the Honest Burger, and while it wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had, it was definitely delicious and satisfying. The rosemary salted chips were a standout and paired perfectly with the burger. The Tribute Burger and the Vegan Teriyaki Burger also looked fantastic, making it clear that there’s something for everyone here. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a good meal in London, and I would certainly recommend it.

The lady inside the restaurant was really rude to me and my friends… she started to swear in her French language.

The waiter was nice outside (the Geezah) but when we went inside to sit down the lady came up to us and ask us to sit somewhere else even though the restaurant wasn’t even packed… I ask for her name and she refused anyways guess who paid £6 for 3 cocktails loool.

Burgers were great, chips okay (rosemary but was nice at first, got a bit much towards the end. Main issue was at least half of them were small, 1cm or shorter).

My first disappointing Honest Burger experience - I had to approach the waiters when the staff showed no sign of looking to see if customers needed them, delayed food despite it being half empty, and then chips that weren't hot, and a burger that was chewy gristly to the point I had to spit it out secretly. I've always liked Honest Burger, but if this is their new reality then my attachment to them is now ended.

Having just arrived to spend a few days in London we found this burger place!! Everything we ordered was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. To highlight the treatment received by Daniel, he treated us wonderfully and speaks Spanish very well, so we felt at home. A charming Daniel and very professional! We will be back

Honestly (no pun intended), I didn't realise that almost their entire menu is gluten free. My littlun could have onion rings, wings, burgers, chips without having to worry about being poorly... I wish there were more restaurants that took this approach because their food was totally delicious and we could all share safely. Fabulous service from the Waterloo branch who were diligent and delivered amazing food to our table quickly. Will 100% be going back to HB wherever we see them...! ❤️

Solid burger and fries here. The tribute burger wasn’t the most outstanding burger I have ever had but it was definitely good. Fries had a nice texture. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained.

We discovered this burger restaurant on our visit to London and we really liked it. The atmosphere is excellent, the service is unbeatable and the food is delicious. A super cozy place where you can eat luxuriously. Totally recommended.

We rocked up to this restaurant at 8:30 last night with high expectations from our previous visiting the one at Brighton. The restaurant did disappoint, the staff were absolutely amazing, really accommodating and tended to every need of our family. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chilli burger, my wife, the standard my son the pesto chicken and my daughter the children’s burger. All the burgers were cooked to perfection and we asked and I really must say that they beat Hubbox by far. The ambience in the restaurant was perfect with good vibes coming from the background music and the amazing stuff. Thank you to all and no doubt will be back again before our week in London is out!

Huge burger selection with tasty options. The rosemary chips were excellent, and they have a decent drinks menu as well. The stools at the tables aren't very comfortable, and the place gets quite noisy when busy.

Hi, I just recently visited the Waterloo Honest burger and the waitress Dani went above and beyond to recommend the best burgers on the menu his service was outstanding

I asked for a medium burger, and got served the most pink burger I’ve ever seen. Please excuse the photo as it looks as though the cow is still mooing. Is this the new medium? Bad, bad , bad .

I asked for a medium truffle burger, and the burger was so pink I thought it was William IV’s cheeks. Come on, a medium burger is not that difficult.

Good service, good burgers but those rosemary salted chips are just way too salty and full of loads of greasy scraps. It would be nice to have a French fry option and go easy on that salt. I need to recheck my blood pressure after that!

Very pushing and burgers sucked

Burger was absolutely delicious, i got the smash burger, with chips that were quite dry and unpleasant, also i asked for a side of onion rings, which is a side, but they couldn’t perform that? Pretty stupid, why would it matter. Anyhow, also had a home made lemonade which was okay, but too zesty and not balanced out much. I would definitely recommend coming for a burger, but definitely wouldn’t recommend the chips. Also reasonably priced too.

Confirmed our booking yesterday for a table of 7. We turned up tonight to be told it’s been cancelled as they are too busy. Awful service.

Stopped off here about 8 pm on a Sunday night. It was busy but they made room for us. As a vegetarian I'm wary about any burgers as I usually get second best. But the veggie burger and chips that I had here was the best I've ever tasted. My wife was also impressed with her chicken burger. Reasonable price and great atmosphere.

Visited this branch on Friday 1st March, after placing our orders, drinks and food, we noticed that the staff had forgotten about our orders. After reminding the staff and chasing a second time, the drinks arrived about 1/2 hour late, Next table’s food arrived after very few minutes of ordering ( even they noticed!). 40 mins later and 4th reminder, the food arrived ( with luke warm fries). When we tried pointing out perhaps it’s worth addressing the issues with more (any) staff training , the manager unapologetically pointed out that mistakes can happen. The place was not even half full. The manager kindly deducted our bill (drinks). Unfortunately the attitude amongst staff was dismissive , pretending nothing was wrong. Disappointing!

Great vegan burgers - Both the Plant and the Bacon Plant were tasty. Plus the chips and onion rings are a treat - the biggest onion rings I have ever see! The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The food was nice as usual. The service a bit slow. Didn’t bring us our bill for ages even though clearly had people waiting for tables. But the worst thing was the toilets. For some reason they were mixed sex but they were also filthy. One had no light the other so much water on the floor I just didn’t go in the end. Nowhere to hang a bag either. Completely grim and unforgivable in a popular restaurant.

The food and the atmosphere were as great as always and we really enjoyed it, however, the service on this occasion wasn’t as good as usual. We waited quite a long time to be served and only got served as at some point we decided to call someone to take our order. The wait for the food to arrive was just as long even though it wasn’t very busy and only half of the tables were filled. And then we barely finished eating and got the bill delivered even though we never asked for it and wanted to order another drink. Hopefully this was just a one time service fluke cause I’ve been here many times before and the service was always much, much better than this…
