The best restaurants in London

I recently dined at Mithras, a Turkish restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful Turkish decor that set the tone for a great meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without being intrusive. The food was delicious—each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. We started with a mix of mezze, which included creamy hummus, baba ghanoush, and fresh pita bread, all of which were excellent. For the main course, we had the sharing platter which included lamb kebabs, chicken wings, lamb chops and chicken shish, all cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. Overall, it was a great dining experience with good service and authentic flavors. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Turkish cuisine!

Very nice host. Because of a public holiday the selection was limited but the host looked after us very well. The pulled beef sandwich is excellent

Took my mum to Islington to explore and she wanted pizza as a treat, about to go to our usual Pizza Express and saw this gem and thought why not try something new. Really glad we did. Super fresh ingredients and authentic Napoli style pizza in a modern design and friendly staff. Mum is very picky with she food and she was really happy here. Was around 25 for two pizzas and soft drinks which is far better quality than at any other “high street” pizza joint. Would recommend.

Fireaway Pizza is back and stronger than ever, they had a few staff changes and new management and it's working. All my favorites are being cooked to perfection, I am now frequently going at least twice a week again. I recommend make your own Pizza and don't forget pineapple...

The meal was excellent! There are many vegetarian options. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended. In addition, the staff is extremely courteous and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Very pleasant experience trying Turkish food for the first time (beyond just kebab). Thanks mostly to our waitress, Ozlem, who was very patient and took the time to explain the food, ingredients, culinary traditions, and helped us avoid anything spicy. Great service that made us feel comfortable enough to ask about anything, even with a touch of humor. Absolutely all the food was delicious, I would recommend anyone to go and try Ayran as well, a typical Turkish drink, very different from what I’m used to but very good and refreshing.

The Eagle Ale House is a family run traditional pub. The pub itself has not been modernized and retains it's original Character. It provides a wide range of Ales along with German larger, cider, wine and spirits. It does not have food but you can bring your own, or have it delivered. On the last Tuesday of every month there is a very entertaining open mic night. I recommend this pub
