I came from Japan and had fish and chips for the first time in England. I ordered the large size and the volume was amazing. The fish was large, freshly fried and crispy and satisfying. Although I can't speak much English, the clerk was kind.

This is one of the best places i have ever had Fish & Chips at. It has a clean but small seating area and even give little bag of free chips! I love the fact that they don't use beer batter so most people who don't have alcohol can have their fish and chips.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is some of the best fish and chips that I have ever had, the batter is crispy and fresh, and the chips are never greasy and always fluffy with a great crunch.

I popped in here on impulse and ordered medium fish and chips to eat in. Quite honestly this was one of the best fish and chip lunches I have ever had. Lovely crispy chips without a hint of greasiness, tasty fish in crispy batter, served on a warm plate. Friendly service, clean restaurant, I could go on!

What can I say? Venue is superbly clean and smart, with affable service. Rock salmon was cooked really decently, but was so small, that it was the third of the size of one, which I can procure from my chippy in North Surrey. Chips were fine - far far from being bad, but not superb. It’s a shame - Rock Salmon was really good, but for the price, not worth it due to the size.

We ordered £44 meal they didn't deliver. This seems to be an Uber issue - Facebook has thousands of similar stories.

Just moved to the area and have been dying to try this chipper. We did and were giving it a solid 9/10. Chips were perfect. My favourite were the cod bites. Onion rings were abit greasy which is why we deducted a point. Decent price. Friendly staff. This is now our new local.

This is my fish and chip shop of choice. Always good always fresh and always really good quality. Really nice people too. Very lucky having them so close. I still jump in the car to collect though, may that is why I can't use them as much as I want, I'm a little overweight.

I have been here a couple of times now and i can confirm the food is on point! Packaging is not cheap so the food doesn’t go soggy, which is brilliant!! Will come back here for a Friday night!

Just had a really filling and well cooked plate of cod and chips. My Mum who's well on in age enjoys the food ever time. Crisp light batter on the fish and crisp chips which never go soggy even when cold. Well done to everyone at Merton Fish Bar 👍👍👍👍👍

I ordered rock and chips for my very elderly parents who had been shielding for the last month and were suffering from the isolation from friends and family. The fish and chips arrived promptly via UBEREATS and were wonderful. Mum commented on the quality of the fish and the cooking. You cannot believe how simple, tasty, and excellent quality fish and chips improved their morale. So thank you Merton Fish Bar I cant recommend you highly enough. I will be ordering again for mum and dad and for me and my family. In these difficult times your service really lifts the spirits.

Before we moved to Merton, we had a fantastic fish and chip shop. Then we moved and it took us some time to find another just as good. So far, this fish bar has met our standards. Good portions and freshly made chips. Staff are accomadating and the pace looked very clean with places to eat inside. Would eat here again.
