Friendly staff and good fish and chips. As good as Superfish

Second time coming here and our first visit was great. Fish was cooked to perfection and tasted lovely. Second visit was disappointing. The chips were hard and overcooked. The fish was a little overcooked. The jumbo sausage was nice. It was such a shame and we drove from Wimbledon town just to get this food. I also noticed that the other 2 customers did not have to pay instantly on ordering as we did which was odd as you expect all customers to be treated the same. Overall a 3/5.

Just had the most amazing fish and chips! The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The batter was light and golden, not too greasy. The chips were thick, crispy, and fluffy on the inside, seasoned just right. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and a side of tartar sauce that was spot on. Simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!

Called to see if they served beer. Kinda a weird exchange, I think maybe she was confused with my question, but she ultimately hung up on me. I'll come back later and update if the experience is better.

Fish was all in pieces. Asked for refund via just eat no reply it’s been 2 days now. Disappointed

Great quality fish and chips altogether. I had a 'large' haddock (size was decent enough) and a regular portion of chips (size was decent enough). Priced reasonably (amid price inflation). Both staff members were very friendly and enjoyable to talk to, from start to end of being there. Highly recommend making the efforts to come here for fish and chips amongst Morden! Especially on a warm sunny day (like today, luckily). I don't remember having fish and chips on any Monday so far, so it adds to the experience for me, having intended on doing so :)

I review this restaurant every time I order, I have always highly recommended it however this time I have to say what on earth happened to the chips, if you can call them chips, they were tiny little pieces of crumbs and oily, not even a proper chip at all and for £3.50 I think is just not good enough, they were obviously the last of the chips, come on guys, it’s only chips, for a regular customer I would expect more, having said that the fish was lovely.

Excellent. It's our go to chipper. Food is great, immaculately clean & staff are brilliant. It's always busy yet standards don't drop.

The food is disgusting and the sausages are weird and the cod bites have no cod in them and they gave me the wrong drink worst shop ever will never order again it’s foul and nasty horrible

Had dine in the restaurant recently with children and we loved it. Delivery this time not disappointed as well. Very fresh and well cooked. It is fresh and crispy, but still lightly battered. So what you see is size of the fish not the batter! Highly recommended.

Food was hot as well as delicious

The fish pieces and the cops were lovely, but there is always problem with the pies, dried out as if they have been in a hot place for a long time. Shame as everything is so nice.

One of the best in town. Serves delicious fish and chips. Kids love the cheese burger. Salad is brilliant as well. Small and cosy seating space with nice photos on the wall. Very clean and warm environment.

I ordered a “large haddock” and when it arrived it was small and thin and the fish was extremely grey and smelt very fishy. The chips were very good. I’ve used this restaurant many times, but after this experience I will not use them again.

I came from Japan and had fish and chips for the first time in England. I ordered the large size and the volume was amazing. The fish was large, freshly fried and crispy and satisfying. Although I can't speak much English, the clerk was kind.

Hot and delivered on time. Chips good. Fish very nice but had bones. But as a vegetarian I specifically ordered spicy bean burger as I don't like the mushy potato and sweetcorn vegetarian burgers most fish and chip shops serve. Sadly the unwanted mushy potato and sweetcorn vegetable 'burger' was exactly what I did get. No sign of spicy beans. So not happy to get wrong order.

This is one of the best places i have ever had Fish & Chips at. It has a clean but small seating area and even give little bag of free chips! I love the fact that they don't use beer batter so most people who don't have alcohol can have their fish and chips.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is some of the best fish and chips that I have ever had, the batter is crispy and fresh, and the chips are never greasy and always fluffy with a great crunch.

Highly recommend, definitely thumbs up.

Cod bites were the worst I have ever tasted....all greasy batter with cod skin and hardly any fish. Never again.............
