Sorely disappointed! Had my daughters birthday meal here and having not been here before we chose this Indian based on the numerous good reviews on here. For what we paid for 7 people of nearly £200, we certainly didn’t receive value for money. The mains which varied between children and lamb weren’t in any way adequate enough with the lamb jalfrezi that I had just having 3 bits of meat. The sauce was too thick and the pilau rice that my wife and I shared was minuscule compared to other Indian restaurants we’ve eaten in. They might label themselves as an upmarket Indian restaurant, but we feel totally ripped off and would not visit here again.

Hidden gem in Bromley Food was amazing as usual. They tailored to my extreme spice level. Ambience was fantastic and perfect for my wife and I Alina was excellent and looked after us throughout the night. Brilliant customer service Prashant is always taking the time to come over and make sure everything is going perfect. Definitely recommend this place

This was our first visit to the restaurant after seeing many people attend previously. First of all what a lovely service, we got speaking to the business owner (Amrid) who has a great, friendly and warm welcoming personality. The food was excellent and worth every penny. Very very clean and presentable. We cannot wait to attend again.

We ordered our first takeaway from here this evening, it was FANTASTIC. Everything we had was flavourful and generous, with some lovely new dishes on the menu that we've not seen before. Will definitely be ordering again.

Wow wow wow. This has to be the best Indian restaurant we have been to. It’s so good we went back the night after. We were working in the area only down there for 2 nights and didn’t want to drive. We had a wander down the Main Street and came across this gem. From the first minute we walked through the door to leaving, the service was impeccable, the food out of this world, the flavours complemented every mouthful explicitly. I wish we lived closer we would be there every week. Highly recommend r this restaurant.

I have ordered three Naan breads for collection via their website. I have been told that it will be ready in 25 minutes. But I have received the food after 45 minutes. I am very disappointed with their service.

Love this place, the booths are so cozy and romantic. Always a table for walk-ins. Good service and amazing food. Best Indian by far. Wine choice is great. Can't recommend enough. You must try it!

I have visited this Nepalese restaurant on several occasions and have enjoyed every visit. The menu is varied, and the food is excellent and well presented. Break away from 'high street indian' cuisine and explore the Nepalese menu as there are some interesting flavours to be enjoyed. The team of staff is very polite, cheerful, attentive, and willing to assist. On occasions they have live music with a good singer. Those evenings are very enjoyable and entertaining. Will I visit again? Yes, it is the best in the area! Highly recommended.

I’m sorry to write this as Mittee was becoming my favourite new take away restaurant for curry, but I placed an order via Deliveroo tonight, it was an hour late, I called to check and was told they were waiting for a Deliveroo driver to collect. The order however was not to be delivered by a Deliveroo driver, I called chasing again and they said that their driver had left - I don’t appreciate being lied to, it wasn’t great to have an hour delay and I don’t think these are the 3 poppadoms I ordered…disappointing

Went to Mittee for a sit-down dinner last night after having heard great things about it from our neighbours and was sadly disappointed with the overall experience. The food was great and couldn't be faulted - good portions, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. So why the lower score? When we arrived the waiter who greeted us couldn't seem to understand that we'd booked a table. However, this was rectified after a couple of seconds and we were taken into the restaurant. Despite there being a number of booths available - which looked lovely BTW - and also a number of people in the main part of the restaurant (where there were also tables available) we were taken to a table that hadn't been made up and was in an area where there were no other diners. The lighting in this area was so bright and it felt like we'd been put into the overflow area - it then took ages to get a menu and despite asking for cutlery twice, this wasn't brought until our food actually arrived and we then had to wait to eat. My suggestion to Mittee - pop out some candles (don't have to be real, the fake ones would do) and lower the lighting in the evening to give it some ambience, offer booths if they're available (or let the customer decide where to sit if possible) and make sure you give cutlery before the food arrives.

I recently visited and it disappoint my experience. We had to wait an astonishing 25 minutes for our food, which is unacceptable considering the restaurant wasn’t even busy. When the food finally arrived, the portion sizes were shockingly small and definitely not worth the high prices they charge. The quality of the food was mediocre at best, leaving much to be desired in terms of flavor and presentation. Given the lengthy wait time, poor value for money, and subpar food, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money and choose another restaurant that values its customers and delivers a satisfactory dining experience.

Amazing Service, Amazing Food, Amazing People. My family went to dine there and left absolutely satisfied and happy. The staff are very kind with cheering smiles and very accommodating. Just had the best curry in years I asked for a traditional Nepalese curry spicy my family had numerous other dishes this restaurant is my favourite been coming here for years now it did have its ups and downs but today's curry's and service was the best I have had can't rate this place enough 😋

Ordered food over 90 minutes ago. No one answering the phone. No way of contacting the restaurant. Still says estimated arrival as 45 minutes ago and hasn’t changed. Trying to get a refund but can’t. Infuriating. Terrible service.

Liked the food and the place, but when the bill of £65 for 2 came, my partner, yet again using 'the fork' the discount had not been taken. An apology was given, the bill came back with a £10.50 reduction on a 30% discount. Even just on the food, it should have been £13.50, though everywhere else includes everything . Furthermore, the tip of 10% on everything had not been reduced accordingly. If you don't want to honour a deal, opt out. Not impressed.

the lamb is very soft, it is spicy but not very chilli hot. I feel I am having an Indian fine Dinning.The chilli chicken is good enough to empty 1 rice.

*** Great dining experience with outstanding Indian and Nepalese cuisine *** As a starter, we had Papri Chaat and Potato and Onion Bhaji which were presented in a fine dining manner and their taste didn’t disappoint either. It was the perfect size so that we weren’t too full for the main courses. The highlight - of course - was the main course. Both dishes we ordered were delicious, the meat in the Chicken Tikka Masala was soft like butter with a creamy mild sauce. The second dish (one of the Nepalese specialties: Royal Paneer) was a nice contrast to the creamy Tikka masala sauce - moderately hot and rich in spices. The portion sizes were big enough, even without the starters it would have sufficed. The garlic naan was perfectly fluffy - for my taste it could have been more garlicky, but others might prefer it like that. I enjoyed the raita a lot, it had a slight sweet taste and worked well with the main dishes. The portion of the raita could have been bigger, that is maybe the only thing I would have wished for. The service was attentive and polite. Reasonable prices for the quality of food. All in all a great experience - highly recommend.

Excellent food, nice music, and good service. We had the starter's of Lamb samosas, poppadoms and sauce, and a portion of onion bhaji. For mains, we had Chicken tikka masala and Lamb biriani. I also had a keema nan. All cooked brilliant, very soft lamb and chicken. Very good table service well worth the visit. A very clean and hygienic restaurant that serves up nice food. Very reasonable priced food and drinks. There is plenty of parking on the back streets.

The best Indian restaurant that I’m aware of in the area. The food is always spot on, with plenty of choice, the meat is much better quality than you normally get, the lamb is melt in the mouth. Staff are friendly and attentive, especially when you’re a regular. I especially recommend the lamb madras or chicken Chettinad

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, as this was probably one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The staff was very helpful and kind and the food was simply amazing. I highly reccomend Mittee and I look forward to go back.

Bought online via ubereats, Bought lamb madras, pilau rice, chicken tikka starter and a goat tawa kebab starter, really enjoyed the flavours and the generous lamb portions in the madras, the spice level was perfect, the chicken tikka starter was also lovely along side the pilau rice, the kebab starter was also very nice and we was given 3 poppadoms for free which was really lovely suprise as not all places do this, put of 10 i would rate this restraunt 8 the only reason its not 10 is because i have yet to try other dishes which i will definitely be doing soon, would highly recommend this restraunt 5☆!

I loved it a lot. The chicken mirchi curry was awesome. It’s been ages since I had such a spicy curry at any nearby restaurant. We tried the chicken chili, momos, chicken tikka, chicken madras, and biryani. The taste of everything was excellent. I will definitely recommend it.

Wonderful staff, 10/10 food. We’ve ordered takeaway from Mittee several times and it never misses!! However, this was our first time attending the restaurant in-person. The meat in the curries just melts in your mouth, the onion bhajis are amazing and the service is brilliant. We will definitely be back!

Just ordered a king prawn biriyani and 2 prawn puri. I have never had such poor quality food in my life! The paratha was stale, the prawns were kind okay but the biriyani was awful.

I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. Paired with a sweet Peshwari Naan, it was an absolute delight. The poppadoms were crispy and fresh, a great start to the meal. It was our first time visiting this hidden gem, The service was top-notch. The warm and inviting atmosphere added to a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend.

Food poisoning. Ordered as a takeaway. I had the lamb bhuna with mushroom rice and keema naan. Woke up the next day feeling awful, vomiting and with diarrhea. Only reason for not giving 1 star is because the food did taste nice and lamb was very tender.

We visited Mittee based on a recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit. The various dishes that we tried were full of flavour, well presented and plentiful. Last night was our third visit to Mittee. We absolutely love it! The food is fabulous, the service is great and last night we were lucky enough to see Gary Goodmaze as Freddie Mercury who was just amazing. We had such a fun evening. Great Indian food with drinks and dancing- what's not to love!

It has been a long while since I had such good service anywhere but my first experience dining at Mittee was brilliant. All of the staff are attentive and appear to genuinely care about your experience being a good one. On top of that the regulars also took it upon themselves to check we were having a good time. This is all before the evening entertainment which in our time there was by Ian Gallagher aka Sinatra. Most of the people in the restaurant were dancing to his tunes. The whole evening was truly wonderful so a big big thank you and bloody great effort by all of the staff…oh, and by the way, the food was wonderful. It is fair to say we will be there again. Thank you all.

Nice meal, but make sure you reconfirm your order and check your bill because they got confused with the order and then what was presented on the first bill. However, once questioned, it was quickly resolved, and a refund was issued.

I visited Mittee on Saturday with a friend and we were served by Alina who was wonderfully attentive, with a warm kind personality, she made our experience very enjoyable. The food was rich and full of flavour, I have ordered many times before and have not been disappointed. I would personally recommend trying the tarka dhal. Looking forward to visiting again.

For years I’ve been ordering takeaway from an Indian restaurant in Bromley every Friday because the food was usually really good but just recently the prices keep going up, the portions are getting smaller and they never give you complimentary poppadoms so I decided to try finding somewhere else, after a couple of mediocre local experiences I tried Mitee. All I can say is absolutely brilliant!! Every dish was beautiful, the price was roughly the same but the portions are bigger and the poppadoms were complimentary! (It’s the little things that count) I’m happy I’ve found my new Friday night takeaway and I can’t wait for next Fridays delivery! Well done Mitee!! Thank you.

Have eaten here twice now - the food itself is absolutely delicious! Only issue was the wait was far too long on both occasions. We waited well over an hour between the starters and the mains, which makes me hesitant to return. It’s a shame as if it wasn’t for the lengthy waits, this could easily be one of the best restaurants in the area as the food is superb.

Had a really fantastic meal at Mittee Indian Restaurant today. The decor is refined and comfortable and the service was so friendly and professional. All of the food I ate was gorgeous: from the papadams, to the veggie momo to the paneer butter masala and chilli naan. The pina colada was delicious too. Great value - will be back soon!

Came here for dinner - food was very good but the service let us down. We were often left on our own and waited over an hour for our food. We decided to order curry after a long working day. Food arrived 2h after we ordered it. No response to our phone calls. It was 10pm when food was here and we were starving. Not to mentioned that food was cold, one of the starter was missing, and curry was average. Very disappointed with my order, never again!!!
