Terrible Service and Poor Organisation – Avoid! We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite booking weeks in advance for a large group and preordering our food as requested, the staff were completely unprepared. At the last minute, they changed our reservation time by an hour, and when we arrived, our table still wasn’t ready. We were left standing for nearly an hour before finally being seated. Service was painfully slow. It took ages just to get a waiter’s attention, and even basic drinks took over an hour to arrive. After being in the restaurant for an hour and a half, they had only just entered our food into their system—despite it being preordered. Some of our starters eventually arrived, but in small, random portions, leaving half our group waiting while others had already finished. At this point, we still had no drinks—not even tap water or bread for the children, who were left hungry and frustrated. In the end, we didn’t even receive our main meals. To make matters worse, the staff were dismissive and unprofessional. When we raised concerns, they told us long waits were “normal” and refused to assign another waiter, claiming it would be “too confusing” for them. There was no communication, no apology—just rude behaviour, including staff shouting at us and walking away mid-conversation. This place is severely understaffed, disorganised, and lacks even basic customer service skills. If you’re looking for an enjoyable meal, go elsewhere—we certainly won’t be returning!

Had a fantastic time here celebrating my husbands birthday. The food was great (highly recommend the kunufe) and the staff were were so attentive and friendly and offered really good recommendations in terms of dishes and quantities. Will definitely go back.

Super nice I came on Eid day it was super busy and I still got good service the staff was nice and polite everything came quickly although it was busy and the food was very delicious even thought it was super busy because it was Eid, the managed everything super well , and well will definitely come back again.

Anamore. To say that our group arrived at different times is completely absurd given that you had changed our booking twice! We had simply asked for one more table and for those tables to be put together as that has not already been done. It should have not created additional challenges as when orders where taken everyone was present and seated. I would like to bring to your attention that shouting was the only way to get through to your staff as your very disrespectful ‘manager’ thought it was okay to walk away NUMEROUS times while I was speaking to her. We had raised our voices at your ‘manager’ as according to her ‘we clearly don’t go to restaurants’ and that it’s ’normal to wait 2 hours for food to come out’. Absolute nonsense. I think that reaction was called for. Given that we had waited 2 hours for missing drinks and starters, our patience was wearing thin and that comment was the last straw. The small fraction of our group that stayed also expressed the unprofessional behaviour and the long wait they experienced even after we had left. As much as you felt ‘offended’, not once did you guys apologise for the long wait or give us updates. Hence, why we were constantly pestering you. Please do not lie and say you chose not to charge as if it can from the kindness of your heart because it didn’t. Even with our deposit, we had asked you to hand us the bill and let us pay for the very few things we did consume. My advice would be to not take on more than you can handle. Ive never been met with such disrespect and disregard in my life and still not one apology for the poor customer service. Given that we had pre order our food and they were still behind 2 HOURS was unbelievable. Ruined our Mother’s Day and Eid.

Me and my family decided to come out instead of celebrating Eid at home and we’re so happy we made this decision because the food was so great. The staff were really nice and really helpful.

This restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal. The staff are lovely—friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. The food is amazing, with every dish clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Even if you’re not nearby, it’s absolutely worth the travel. Highly recommend! :)

Blown away. I’ve definitely just found my new favourite restaurant. From the moment I walked in, everything just felt right the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were genuinely lovely, and the food? Honestly, incredible. I wasn’t expecting to be blown away, but every single bite was just so good. The standout for me had to be the Lamb shish perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and the kind of dish that makes you stop mid conversation just to appreciate it properly. Everything else was just as amazing, from the little details in the presentation to the way the flavours balanced so effortlessly. It’s rare to find a place that gets it all right great food, great service, and that feeling of I can’t wait to come back already. But this place? They’ve absolutely nailed it. If I could give this more stars I wholeheartedly would.

I went with my friends. I think it is one of the most delicious places to eat, not only in Lewisham but also in London. It has a very rich and delicious menu. The place and kitchen are very clean. All the staff are very attentive and understanding. The taste of the kebabs here is very rare even in Turkey. Good job.

Most useless restaurant I have ever seen in my life and I work as a chef, I have seen untold restaurants. Reading previous reviews and all I can see is “we shouldn’t have accepted” that alone says how unorganised, unprofessional and greedy this restaurant is. They care more about money and upsetting customers on Mother’s Day and Eid more than what they can actually handle lol. A bit of advice, don’t get in to the restaurant business if you don’t know basics of customer service, running a kitchen or even have the staff to do the work needed. No on cares how busy you was, you clearly didn’t know what you were doing, that’s the whole issue. Moral of the story, avoid this restaurant. We booked WEEKS in advance, and our food order was placed A DAY BEFORE THE BOOKING. You have absolutely no excuse to why the service was so poor and why we waited 2 hours to receive 2 bottles of coke. Please do yourself a favour and avoid this restaurant.

For whoever wants to book this place for your family - Don’t - we PRE ORDERED our food TWO DAYS before so the only thing they needed to do was take our starters and drinks. - ONE WAITER for a group of 28 people didn’t help our experience at all - NOTHING came out on time with our booking pushed back twice - I appreciate it’s a busy period but the staff were rude, dismissive, didn’t communicate the delays and became patronising when we got fed up. - Waiting TWO HOURS for food that was preordered days in advance isn’t acceptable at any standard. - the whole experience was terrible and I really hope they experience more busy periods so they can afford more staff and some lessons in manners.

Ana Moré is one of the best restaurant in London. It's food menu, staff and atmosphere is unmatchable. I've enjoyed delicious Turkish food with my family. Turkish Shish kabab are the delicious and tasty in the menu. Staff is very friendly and their service is outstanding. It's environment is really cozy and enjoying for family gatherings. The owner of restaurant is caring for the customers. I recommend this restaurant for better and quality atmosphere as well as delicious and yummy food 😋😊

Huge Disappointment! We booked a 28-person table weeks in advance for Mother’s Day and Eid. The restaurant asked us to pre-order so the kitchen could be prepared, which we understood since we were a large group. We placed our orders two days before our reservation. The restaurant then asked us to come at 3:30 instead of 3, which we accepted. However, just 30 minutes before our booking, they called and told us our table was still occupied, asking us to come at 4 instead! This was completely unacceptable, but once again, we were understanding. When we arrived at 4 PM, despite booking weeks in advance, they had not prepared enough tables and chairs, so we were left standing for 50 minutes! This level of incompetence is shocking! When we finally got seated, we had to repeatedly call for a waiter, but no one came for 20 minutes! And the worst part? It took 45 minutes just to bring basic soft drinks that were simply sitting in the fridge! By the time the clock hit 6 PM— a full two hours after our booking, our starters started arriving in small portions, bit by bit. Our children were starving and getting frustrated, and so were we! When we complained, we received the most disrespectful and unprofessional response: they told us that waiting this long was "normal" and that we "must not go out much"! What kind of attitude is this?! This place is severely understaffed and completely disorganized! Waiting two hours for food might have been tolerable, but waiting over an hour for drinks and not even being given a single piece of bread for our starving toddlers is beyond outrageous! We will NEVER come here again! If you're considering booking this place, think twice! It is a total waste of time and money!

Booked a 28 people table weeks prior to Mother’s Day at 3:30. We were asked to pre order our order beforehand so the kitchen would be prepared which was understandable considering we are a large group. We pre ordered 2 days prior to our booking and even got asked to come at 3 instead which we willingly accepted. The day of the booking we were contacted 30mins before our booking to come at 4 instead because our table was still occupied which is ridiculous but again we willingly accepted. Upon arrival at 4pm it took 50 minutes for us to all be seated as they did not prepared enough tables and seats, despite having booked our group weeks ago. After taking 50 mins to seat us it took a further 20 mins after requesting a waiter multiple times just to give our drink orders which took 45 mins to arrive!!! Please bear in mind I am talking regular soft drinks which are simply sitting in the fridge. The time was now 6 so 2 hours after booking for our starters to just begin arriving in drips and drabs. Our children were starving and frustrated as were we all. When we complained we were told it is normal to wait an hour and half for drinks and that we must not go out much. This place is ridiculously understaffed and unprofessional with no people skills whatsoever. We would’ve been happy to wait 2 hours for our food but to wait over an hour for drinks and 2 hours for starters without even bread on the table for our toddlers is appalling service. We will never be going here again and I advise you to think twice before booking.

However, the restaurant changed my booking time twice, and upon arrival, my table wasn’t ready. After sitting for two hours without receiving anything, I placed my starter order, but nothing else came. The staff was rude and more focused on lecturing about how busy they were than offering an apology for the inconvenience. It was a thoroughly disappointing experience, highlighting serious understaffing and an unprofessional manager.

We had a fantastic time celebrating my sister's baby shower and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Very clean with beautiful settings inside. I would definitely visit here again.

This place deserves the good reviews. We had a few mezze plates, a pide, and a kebab. All was excellent. Nothing was too stodgy or too greasy. The chicken liver mezze was stand out.

I arrived fashionably late to my Aunty's sixth birthday dinner with gifts for the great grandchildren...the food was fantastic I was told! My cousin really enjoyed the fish The staff were friendly and catered to every need-they even have charging ports

Sadly, this place is getting worse. It's a hit or miss on what you get when you order a takeaway. I always order the Lamb Shish. On every occasion, I've added a note to say that I wanted fries instead of rice. On three occasions, this was ignored. One meal I got was completely wrong and was cold, to which they blamed it on Just Eat. I've complained at other times, but all they say is that they're too busy to look at the notes. On the last three times I've ordered, I have phoned them to make sure that they knew that I wanted CHIPS. On the last three times, the chips have been reheated and soggy. Tonight's was no exception. Apart from that they were cold. My order tonight never came with any sauces. I tried to call them but no one answered. The Kebab when they get the order right, when everything is there, when it's hot and the chips are not reheated is really nice, but alas its just pot luck what you get. I have been a customer for a long time now and have given them many chances, but enough is enough now. The quality is just rubbish now and not worth the money. They aren't consistent. I will be trying new places now for my Kebas.

I went to this restaurant craving some authentic Turkish cuisine and it didn't disappoint at all! The staff are very friendly, helpful and quick and they deserve a massive bravo for their work. I ordered a lamb doner and it was served quickly. It was one of the most amazing doners I have eaten in a while but it tasted perfect and it's quality was so good you could tell its homemade! The chefs and servers did a good job for me and I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

The staff were amazing from the first initial enquiry to the service on the actually day. The food was delicious. Overpriced. I paid £22 for a lamb shish kebab and got 1 skewer of meat, a small pile of bulghur and a couple of bits of veg. I was left hungry so ordered a kenefir dessert which was nice but missing a dollop of cream/ice cream. Service was good.

We as a family went there 2024 for the first time celebrating my friends birthday, the place is amazingly spacious very clean. The staff they were just great, very attentive and had a fantastic sense of humour, they catered for everyone special dishes for the children. They were involved when the birthday cake was brought to the table they joined in singing, such a happy time. Thank you all so very very much.

All 13 of us were well catered to! One thing I will say is the variety of condiments that came with the bread was unexpected, we were all very pleased. Ordered the special platter, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

We visited on Christmas eve. It was very busy but the atmosphere was very nice. It's family friendly but also a great place for a dinner for two or a child free family event. The food was well cooked and presented and very filling.

Really good Turkish restaurant with pleasant decor, service, and tasty food, but where this place provides amazing value for money is breakfast. £8 for menemen and omlettes is unheard of pretty much anywhere in London, and they are very, very nice.

Lovely restaurant with a very good ambience. The starters arrived quickly, we ordered the mix mezze, they were really good, very flavoured and in nice portions. The chicken liver was amazing. For main I had the middle neck special, which, again, came in a nice size portion and was really good and tasteful. Highly recommend and will be going back for sure.

During our stay in London we had breakfast here twice and had dinner once. I must say it was really tasty and the service is very good. Staff and owner are very friendly. We have a son who is allergic to milk, and they were also very cooperative and helpful with him! In short, I recommend it to everyone.

Was at this place last night for NYE celebrations. I don't really have nothing positive to say. The food was tasteless very small portions. The waiters and waitresses could not remember parts of the order. The staff were generally very rude and the place was more like a mad house than a restaurant. It was also ridiculously pricey - stay away at all cost!

Visited for the first time last night, Saturday 30/11/24...hadn't booked in advance so was very happy to get a table for 4 immediately. The food was delicious, the service attentive without being intrusive, great value for money, will definitely be visiting again.

I was really looking forward to my celebration dinner here and dragged all of my friends SE as the menu met my needs. I have very specific dietary requirements and they weren’t flexible at all. I wanted to order one of the salad mains and add some chicken. The lady said it’s not possible and I would have to order both a main salad and chicken shish which would be silly. I decided to swap the rice/fries on the shish to salad instead hoping it would be a substantial portion to fill me up. It’s already upsetting enough when you can’t have the starters with your friends let alone a meal you can actually enjoy. She then brought out 2 extra dips for my friends to try. So I can’t pay extra to add chicken to a main dish but you can give extra dips? It felt like a slap in the face. My side salad came out with the starters which was delicious I must say. Then the chicken to my “meal” came out… I’ll let the picture speak for itself. I paid £25 for chicken shish and a Diet Coke with service charge which in my opinion the waitress didn’t deserve. To single me out in front of my friends was so belittling especially when it was supposed to be a celebration. It only takes a little thing to really make someone’s day, you don’t know what someone is going through. I just wanted a fat salad with some juicy chicken shish. I didn’t realise that was too much to ask. 😅

All of the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were just awesome, and the manager , Ozlem was great. She worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The staff were really efficient, helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. The restaurant and bathroom facilities were spotless. We had a perfect birthday celebration and we can't wait to go back.

This place has a lovely feel, like quite a high end restaurant, nice atmosphere. The food was nice but I must compare it to Lavante down the road, the menu is almost identical but everything we had was not quite as good as if you get it in Lavante and a fair bit more expensive, I imagine you're paying for the smart restaurant feel. Good for occasions but if you just want to eat go to Lavante. The staff were very nice and kind but a bit rushed and distracted on a Sunday lunchtime.

Trying the praise starter is a must. You won't find anything more tasty. Had the chicken kebab with rice and was delicious. Service is second to non. They don't hover round your table making chit chat with friends personal but staff are attentive and looking to help when needed. There was a large birthday celebration going on at the time I was there, who were warmly welcomed too. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and your not rush out as soon as you've eaten. We spent at least an hour between main course and dessert. Absolutely have nothing negative to say and will definitely go again.

Very pleasant experience trying Turkish food for the first time (beyond just kebab). Thanks mostly to our waitress, Ozlem, who was very patient and took the time to explain the food, ingredients, culinary traditions, and helped us avoid anything spicy. Great service that made us feel comfortable enough to ask about anything, even with a touch of humor. Absolutely all the food was delicious, I would recommend anyone to go and try Ayran as well, a typical Turkish drink, very different from what I’m used to but very good and refreshing.

Went here for dinner as part of a colleague leaving our workplace. The atmosphere was good, waiter was very accommodating and patient. I ordered lamb beyti which was lamb in a wrap with yogurt and another sauce (not sure what). It read very nice including the presentation. It read leaking in vegetables though which I thought was the only drawback fair this meal. But it was very nice. If I was to design it I would reduce the rice which I thought was a bit redundant as part of the meal and have maybe some roast vegetables instead. Another option would be to incorporate the rice into the wrap with the meat. Which would also work. I have a attached a photo of what the meal looked like. I also bought a mocktail which was delicious- banana, pineapple, coconut and cream I think. With some ice cubes. Brilliant drink. Update 25/9- after a previously good experience I booked a table for 20 at this restaurant for my own leaving do. This was a very smooth process and required a £50 deposit. I was also able to increase/make changes to the booking before the date as well. The food was very nice again. This time I had lamb neck with bulgar wheat. The service was excellent and we were very well looked after from start to finish. I would definitely recommend for the future.

Succulent food, cosy atmosphere and extremely high- end customer service!!. I ordered seabass and wow...it was heavenly!!. Olzem attended to our every need and went above and beyond which added to our beautiful experience at Ana' more. She even presented a cute hearted birthday cake...things really couldn't get better than that. I attended with a group of 20 and we all left feeling completely satisfied on all counts. 5- star all the waaaaay!
