This is a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Joey-Alione served us and was helpful recommending dishes and checking on us during the meal which was nice. The food was amazing, decent portion sizes and the kids menu was equally good they really enjoyed it too. A great selection of drinks and dessert and an aromatic Vietnamese coffee to end the meal. A great find in Wimbledon will definitely be back again.

First time here. I’m celebrating my birthday. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Areeb explained the menu very clearly and was very helpful. Joey took our drink orders and was polite and friendly. Steph was also very friendly and polite and food was delicious although mine was a little cooler than expected but didn’t ruin the experience. I also received a bday dessert which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back.

We arrived for our reservation to be told they didn't have it we showed screen shot and was kept waiting for 20 mins for our table and no apology the service was so slow we had to ask to order drinks and then food. They had ran out of prawn crackers at 2045pm! We weren't asked how the food was we weren't offered dessert and it took us 10 mins to get someone's attention for the bill it was really lack lustre service which is a shame as good was good .

Perfect for dinner with friends. Such great service from friendly professional staff and the food was so good. Between us 3 Different Starters and mains - great clean flavours all round - really intense - everything was delicious. lovely cocktails. Highly recommend

Visited Tampopo - Wimbledon on 04/08/2024 for dinner with my immediate family. This was our second visit in three weeks. We love this restaurant; the food is delicious, and the staff friendly and courteous. Our waitress, Aliana was superb. We had a great evening. My daughter and son, went back for a meal on 10/08/2025. As usual the food and staff were great. My daughter was especially impressed with Aliana. She was not their waitress on this occasion, but went over and said hello, even remembered my son's name.

Had a great lunch, food was good and convenient location. Charlie and Vicki were super friendly and helpful, even with our table of twenty.

Ordered the satay for lunch and it was truly horrible. It was dry, lukewarm, tasteless, had no peanut sauce and tasted like it was frozen and had been microwaved. It was the worst satay I have ever eaten. Restaurant was practically empty and very slow service. Will never go back there again.

Saw the decent reviews on tripadvisor and thought we'd give it a go. Huge disappointment- ordered the tonkotsu ramen, a £16 ramen which arrived in a saucer not a hearty bowl of noodles a little small dish, poor noodle quality, broth not that flavourful and the egg was dry and hard boiled. I asked for a ladle...they didn't have any...great...was fun to slurp the broth with a tiny metal spoon 😂 Pad thai arrived in a soggy omelette Fried squid bland and tasteless The real insult was the ramen, how can you justify that as a portion?! Absolute rip off! You can get an actual BOWL of ramen in central London, in more welcoming and authentic restaurants for £10-£12...not the cat bowl it was served in today. We did talk to the server with politeness, but the response was we are 2 servers down...okay appreciate that, but how does that effect the food quality coming out of the kitchen? The server then responded with that we should write a 5 star review so that they can pocket a £10 bonus... Expensive, bland food and no cutlery...

This spot was such a lovely surprise. The restaurant is just behind the main street. The food was amazing and the service was great, especially Areeb who assisted us from the beginning til the end. Thank you.

Lovely tasty food and excellent friendly quick service from Areeb. I had corn fritters and beef redang and recommended both.

It's my second visit to this restaurant and it has definitely become of of my new favourites in Wimbledon. The ambience is great, the staff is very friendly, the cocktails are truly amazing (happy hour before 7pm and after 9pm with 2 cocktails for only £14, it's an incredible deal for current prices in London), and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Fabulous and fresh food that tingled our tastebuds. Complemented by top notch service - Areeb’s positive energy brought smiles to our faces, while Steph delivered some top notch cocktails!

Staffs were all very friendly and professional. Food was fairly nice. We had a really nice time with good service. Rest room was quite tidy.

Lovely service - would love the Thai curry to be in a deep bowl to have more sauce and hear - and I’m very thankful they accommodated my request for chicken breast. Juanell makes amazing cocktails!!

Exceptional service by Sam and Amu. The bartender is really good with drinks. Korean apple sour is a must in cocktails and the food is on point too.

Visiting friends in Wimbledon for a few days and came across Tampopo. Went to their one in Manchester a year or so ago, so decided to give it a try. It didn't disappoint. The restaurant was full, the greeting was quick and polite, and the service throughout the meal was spot on. I don't really remember the food from previously, but what we had in the Wimbledon branch was wonderfully delicious, and quick considering how busy they were. I wished I lived in Wimbledon as would make this my new favourite restaurant!

Food 3 - average and normal for Asian. Do not adjust menu for allergies unlike many restaurants. Atmosphere 2 - think Nando’s or Wagamamas. Service 1 - robotic. No interaction. Kept wanting to get us out. Cleared glasses before empty. Drinks 3 - average choice and price. Overall 2 - will not return.

It was my first time visiting Wimbledon and someone recommended Tampopo. I must say I was blown away. The food was amazing, great atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. Great service and highly recommended.

The variety of options on menu is very tempting , We were very happy with the fact they had a Halal Menu but was disappointed some of the fish dishes were off the menu which is a shame as we love fish. Please change this as it gives us more choice! Saying that what we did order - the pepper stir fry, pad Thai and Bhudda bowl was delicious . Would definitely go back and try other dishes . Lovely food and amazing staff. An unexpectedly busy evening in early Jan but the staff, especially Juanell and Amu, worked very hard to give us a wonderful night.

So my wife and I booked Tampopo Wimbledon for some dinner and drinks. The place looked lovely both inside and out. The staff were excellent. They were friendly and worked with a smile on their face. The service was very good overall, especially for drinks. We both had Margheritas, without the chilli, and they tasted great. I had a couple of Tiger beers as their own brewed beer, which tasted amazing by the way, was only served in schooner’s (370ml?). This was quite frustrating as I would’ve preferred a pint of it! My wife and I had the Golden Honey Kaarage Chicken and Satay chicken to start. Both tasted fantastic. The only negative were the mains didn’t taste amazing. I had the king pad Thai which I found had too much onion and ginger in for my liking. My wife had the tamarind chicken and said it was a little bit too dry. All in all, I’d go back to try a different item on the menu as everything else was great! Definitely book before you go.
