Came here after playing football with a few mates across the road, was served by Jason. It’s a really nice coffee shop and was happy with the service. I recommend this place!

Amazing customer service. We ordered a latte and a smoothie, I don’t usually drink smoothies but tried my sisters and it was amazing! So refreshing! Really nice atmosphere, I got a lot of work done!

Amazing find in N19 smack bang on the Holloway the middle of what they call “the hood”. Had a smashing’ fruit juice and veggie breakfast followed by an iced latte with soy milk. What more could you ask for. Super attentive and friendly staff who are part of this family owned and run eatery. It’s a must if you’re in this part of town…!

If you’re looking for great food, great vibe and supa friendly service, look no further! Joy is the ‘go to’ cafe in north London. They offer a large selection of healthy food, juices, coffees and teas. Joy’s Top chef Isa is always looking for new and improved recipes. She’s currently making the best Gazpacho I ever had. Highly recommended!!

Amazing food, people and coffee!

Overall good but minor touches like brown sauce with the Fry Up is a must. Expand condiment selection for this type of joint. Service was very friendly but not overwhelming. Considering we were the only and first customers as they opened doors - a flat white should not be forgotten..a 20min wait for a coffee and still applied to the bill. Minor tweaks could make this place really special so look forward to coming back in the near future!

I'm so sad, this place was so unique, the decor was very whimsical and special and the garden was beautiful. We went back after a year and found it changed into a more generic cafe. I'm sure the food and the service is wonderful still, but I think it lost its essence

We've been going to Joy for a while now and always have a delicious meal, with good portions at reasonable prices. There's always a lot to choose from on the menu with LOADS of veggie options. They've recently changed management and the menu seems a bit smaller but all the staff are super nice and welcoming and we had a great time. They've lost the garden now which is a shame and the decoration seems a bit more generic, we missed the quirky indoor furniture and outdoor space; but we did enjoy the Latin music playing in the background. Most importantly the food remains delicious and it's the perfect spot for food, smoothies, juices etc. We particularly enjoyed the Mushroom vegball wrap and club med toastie!!

Lovely place for coffee, juice, and food. The atmosphere was cute, and everything we had was delicious. I had the sunset awe smoothie, and it was one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had!

Service was great, I had a smoothie and a halloumi and avocado which went down very well. The atmosphere was soothing too. I would highly recommend

Great service, staff were extremely warm and kind. Interior was very brown.. it appears to have been recently remodelled and as a consequence has lost a lot of charm and character. Food was pretty good, veggie breakfast was a bit random (sweet potato fries don't belong on breakfast) and cold when it arrived.

Was my first time here and did not disappointed! The coffee shop inside is nice with very cute details, menu got vegan option and meaty option so there is something for everyone! I'll definitely come back.

I’m going to leave an honest and fair review.. It’s now £13.50 for a veggie breakfast, which is high even if it is 2024. For the price I thought ok fair enough as long as the quality is there like it used to be.. but unfortunately It wasn’t. For example the cherry tomatoes used to be so soft and flavourful but today there were hard and bland in flavour. The eggs didn’t seem to be at their best either and the bread seemed to be just a everyday brown bread nothing special. No seeds, no sourdough, no nothing. & like I mentioned, for the price you are expecting quality which not receive, the only quality I got was in the service, very welcoming and friendly. You can’t have it both ways guys, high price n lower quality. Just being honest, this place was a gem.. I left there feeling kinda ripped off tbh.. :/ Good luck anyhow!

This place was magic once. A cool mix of cosy and bohemian. So cool. And it had a delightful outdoor space which was unique in london. It’s got new owners who are very nice but I prefer it as it was. Still nice though.

This is my favorite local café. It has a secret garden, lovely staff, perfect ambience for a cozy afternoon with friends or (how I mostly enjoy it) just reading with a tasty cup of tea. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options to indulge yourself, great coffee and delicious variety of fresh juice, if you fancy something more natural. Highly recommend!

The beast of archway sandwich i had was the most delicious thing iv had from a cafe in a while. Pancakes were nice as well, and people were friendly. Plus theres a lovely garden in the back.

For somewhere called ‘JOY’ cafe the staff seem miserable! Cheaper than other places in london but this is for a reason. Food is nothing special so just go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time I’m sure the positive reviews must be fake

Didn't look like much from the outside, but there is a little room in the back, which is cozy and warm. Service was nice and paid attention. The food and drinks were super tasty and satisfying.

Restaurante pequeno mas com grande variedade de sabores. Conta com um menu muito interessante, com opções vegetarianas super saborosas. Super criativo, mistura sabores e cores na perfeição. Amei. Comi o wrap de falafel e tomei um capuccino com leite de aveia que estavam perfeitos. Quase não ficamos, porque ao chegarmos, a menina que nos recebeu disse-nos que não havia mesa e que não havia previsão. Então entramos para ver o restaurante por dentro (q eu ainda não conhecia), e, para sorte nossa, havia uma mesa disponível no pátio dos fundos e outras 2 mesas finalizando, conseguimos sentar até no interior do restaurante (estava um dia muito frio).

I have loved this place for years but recently it’s gone downhill. The portions are very small & the prices remain the same. There appears to be a new chef, I’m not sure if it has been taken over but it’s a real shame if it has. I won’t be coming back for a while at least.

This is a really top spot and hidden gem , lovely staff and owner. We sat in the back terrace and all three of us loved breakfast (blueberry pancakes/Eggs/ Toasted ham , cheese and red onion sambo) and a quirky pot of tea for three , a world away from the Holloway Road outside. Get in there 👍🏻

This place is in my local area and it is a hidden diamond. Cosy, warm deco feels like you are at a friend's home. Search for them on instagram. Food is freshly made and delicious. Lots of veggie options and fresh meals and juices. Staff is kind and focused on customer service. Update: lovely as always 🙂

Koruna beautifully served us wonderful food and drink. We enjoyed mega breakfast, classic breakfast, veggie breakfast and a cheese toastie. Right from calling ahead to gauge availability Koruna was lovely and welcoming. What a menu!! Nothing was too much hassle for the staff. The unwanted avocado was really added to another plate. When curious, Korina described the tea, it's origins and flavours. Her passion for food and drink was warningly inspiring. She even showed us her collectible tea press and excitedly described the history. Splitting the bill (in our unnecessarily complicated way) was no bother despite them being short staffed. The smoothies are fabulous. The food is excellent. Tea is beautiful. Spoil yourself and support Korina and her husband by visiting here for a treat you'll remember.

Amazing place for brunch, with a very friendly staff. They have plenty of vegan options both for drinks and meals. We went there on a Sunday morning for a brunch and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very welcoming, the food was really good and the price was really on point. We were four and it was a bit tight to fit, but we managed and it still was a pleasure. We had two plant based smoothies that were delicious! We also had the avocados on toast and the very veggie, both really solid choice. I would simply recommend the staff to ask if they should put chilli seeds on the avocado before serving because I found it a bit too spicy for my taste (I have 0 spice resistance). All in all a very solid choice for a brunch!

Joy is literally amazing! Food was great and from the first bite I could tell that they use high quality ingredients. You can have a very filling meal under 10£. Everything is fresh and most of the foods are healthy too. I have tried the halloumi and avocado wrap which I really recommend. They also have a great selection of coffees, smoothies and teas. They have very particular teas with the most interesting combinations. The café is quite small but it's very cosy and warm. Staff was kind and helpful. If you feel like the table is sticky, don't worry! The stickiness comes from the material from which it was made, it's not dirt. Highly recommended!!

The ambiance was comforting and inviting, an ideal eatery to start the weekend. Unfortunately the service was slow, coffee was cold , but a replacement was offered which was spot on though I had to point out the staff. I am not sure I would return any time soon.

Didn't have time to stay and eat as my train home unexpectedly got brought forward. However, the interior decor and atmosphere are lovely and warm, the staff are very pleasant and helpful, the food and drinks served are excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable. Will definitely make time to come again when I'm in London next 😄

Staff were friendly, and the decor of the restaurant was cute. Loved the house teapot! However, my main concern was the hygiene. The table was sticky, dirty and the floor was not clean. The crockery was also sticky. The chair was uncomfortable and not the right height for the table. The food was good, especially the portion sizes but I was a little afraid to eat so left over half. I won’t be returning purely because it didn’t feel clean.

A really lovely little cafe for a quiet spot of lunch. Great sandwiches, wraps and drinks - we will need to head back again to try more of the menu. The decor is kitsch in the best way, and the place is deceptively spacious - wouldn't have known about the outside space from passing by! Thanks to the staff for being so kind and attentive.

Beautiful little place. It's like the TARDIS, a lot bigger inside. Outdoor seating area at the back, although alot of mummies meet there so the seating out back is like gold dust! Well worth a visit. Wonderful food.

A quirky but nice place! We’ve visited twice so far. The first time: we’ve ordered a spirulina sky latte but received a smoothie since the coffee machine was broken. Falafel wraps were really tasty, tho! The second time: when we ordered iced neon lattes they came with no coffee added, so we ended up drinking oat milk with ice and syrup 🤪 I also got avo on toast which was delicious, so no complaints! Lovely back garden (but watch out if it’s rainy!) Seems like there’s some room improvement for the table service or I’m simply very unlucky when it comes to this place 🧐 lovely people, though!

Always a good choice!! Coffee is very good quality, quantities are big and food delicious. The cure or beast of archway are incredible and always my choice. Join it with a smoothie and there is no better solution for a hungover than to go for brunch here in their lovely back garden.

I really grew to love this place! Amazing juices and smoothies offer, and everything (food & drink) feels fresh and homemade. The cake and coffee are also great. Plenty of vegan options, and the garden is lovely. Staff is friendly.

Joy is such a lovely place. Nice vibe, great food, friendly people. I love coming in for breakfast. So many vegetarian options to chose from, its fantastic. Juices and smoothies are really good and I love the Açaí bowls. The interior is quite funky and there is a cute little outdoor space in the back. You can still get takeaway at the moment and order online as well. While not exactly the same as being there and eating in (which has always been one of my weekend highlights), it is still nice to get a coffee or juice here and there and support the business in general.

It's really well situated outside Whittington Park. They do a great oatmilk latte and I recommend their brownies. There's a good selection of food that caters to all kinds of diets.
