Twickenham’s best kept secret, amazing! Great everything, superb! 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🥂🥂🥂

Came to eat my meal with only 30 minutes to spare food was decent however it came to the payment process and I didn’t want to pay the service charge as the service wasn’t anything special and it wasn’t a proper dine in, and it’s completely optional. The blonde woman started to get agitated at us demanding everyone’s pays service charge.

Served by Antonio a couple of other team members, staff were brilliant, always friendly, always there and helpful and the food and atmosphere was top notch

Came to celebrate a birthday last night and we were super impressed with the food and service here! Pastas and risotto were delicious, and the tiramisu and gelato is to die for! Manager Luca was a fabulous host, highly recommend this restaurant 😍

What an amazing restaurant. Brilliant food amazing atmosphere great staff very friendly and helpful. The Manager Luca was amazing and made this evening even more special with his spectacular birthday celebration he performed with the alcoholic drink. The food was served the great presentation and tasted amazing. They also cater for gluten-free, which is amazing A fresh Italian meal i would also say the prices are very fair and to pay the extra service charge is worth it as the musicians throughout the night complete the evening. What an amazing place it was filled with friends couples familes children and everyone seems to be having a great night We will definitely be back and spreading the word. One of my favorites Italian restaurants.

1st time going and was great all round. We were looked after by Antonio. His service was perfect. The live music was really good too. My fiancé and I had a 3 course meal and both agreed that all the dishes were delicious. Will definitely be going again.

Excellent service! Made to feel at home with a very warm welcome from Antonio. Not rushed and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good. Decent portions and a high quality. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Finished off with a lovely ‘on the house’ round of limoncello. Great place!

First time eating here - food was delicious, obviously freshly cooked. Service by Antonio and Maria was friendly and quick. Atmosphere great- would definitely go again.

I loved this restaurant. And so happy to have it walking distance from my house. We had the Fegato e Pancetta with the rocket salad with oarme. It was delicious and so filling. The tiramisu was quote nice. The wine was a bit disappointing. Overall, we had a wonderful time, service was great and highly recommend it.

We were serenaded with music by a brilliant musician violin and guitar. Made us feel very special.

Me and my daughter came here for dinner mother's day we had carbanara just the right portion each for dinner and dessert almond cake and choclate balls delicious all and my daughter we shall dine here again

Food and Service was amazing, came to Da Alfredo for my birthday meal and had a really lovely time. Antonio our server was attentive and very professional. Food was fantastic we had the tagliatelle gamberoni asparagus and crème brûlée both were fantastic!

This is the best place that offers amazing food and service above and beyond!!! Actually is too cheap for what's offered!!! Today is the 15th time coming since has been open, and always everything is above our expectations!! Well done D'Alfredo team!!!👍👏👏👏

My friend and I came on a Thursday evening, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied, everything was a 10/10. The pasta was ONE OF THE BEST pasta’s I have ever had in England, my friends was the same for her too. The staff were utterly lovely, and ensured we had the best service possible. The speed the food came out was surprisingly quick too! We were shocked at the speed. We were so full up but the desserts looked amazing too, so we shared the tiramisu, which did not disappoint in the slightest! COULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY MORE! Will definitely be coming back again!

Lovely food and generous portions. The pizzas are tasty and the steak was delicious. The alcohol and soft drinks are very expensive which is a shame as it means this is a special occasion restaurant and not one to visit on a regular basis. The staff were helpful and friendly and there was a lovely and lively atmosphere.

Had a fantastic vegetarian calzone pizza on Friday night. This was the tastiest and most authentic pizza I've tasted since I was in Naples in 92. The service was first class, Antonio was so attentive and make us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was very friendly and loved the music from the guitar and violin. If I lived here, I'd visit every week. A great meal and fantastic value for money. Loved it..

The pasta was very delicious and a good portion.

We recently attended as a family. This was our second visit to this restaurant. We had to have the ‘Rugby Menu’ as there was no other choice. This was hugely overpriced for what was on offer with the food mediocre at best. They were obviously taking advantage of the game being played at Twickenham that day. It was extremely disappointing. The service was efficient and the atmosphere was lively. I’m sure that they made a very healthy profit. However we will not be returning!

I don’t know for a foodie like me, how could I have missed out on such a gem of a place in my neighbourhood, serving such delicious & authentic Italian food. The crostini was delicious, loved it. The Salmon with vegetables and the Chicken in Mushroom Sauce were a treat for the soul, so so good. The dessert we chose was bit of a miss. And we got limoncello shots on the house. The servers were so good & made the experience wonderful. I am definitely going back for trying their pastas and the prawns in garlic sauce. Highly recommended.

Excellent friendly restaurant- we were in a bit of a hurry to get to the theatre (28.11.23 - so sorry I’ve not remembered your names but hopefully that date will help!) and we’re running late - we phoned ahead to order and the staff were so helpful and made us feel so welcome - food came swiftly and it was all delicious!! Thank you so much we recommend this lovely cosy Italian restaurant for any occasion - dinner for two/small group to a party you are guaranteed a great time and marvellous food at very respectful prices 🤗

Visited last week on Sunday afternoon between the lunch and evening rush. Lovely service and most delicious Zuppa di Pesce.

This is a ‘gem’ of a restaurant opposite Twickenham Green. The food was really well presented and was very tasty. They even gave us a small sample of the wine to try before committing to it which was a nice touch. The head waiter Antonio and waitress Maria were both very attentive and lovely. We will return again to try more of their great menu .

I ordered pasta it was oily and impossible to eat low quality food never back there just wa wasting money

Friendly Italian restaurant overlooking Twickenham Green. Not busy being a Monday lunchtime but service and food both excellent. Great for small family celebrations and long lunches.

First time for lunch with my son and mommy. Seems a friendly, good food place but extremely slow service, staff distracted without paying attention to waiting times. Took me 30 mints to order dessert and other 30 mints to ask for the bill. If our son didn't felt asleep we would not waited for the bill and gone out the door...

Food is delicious, as is the service. All the staff make you feel super special, one of our fav places to dine :)

The Italian gentleman who looked after us was incredibly pleasant helpful and professional. We all enjoyed our food (I strongly recommend the prawn and asparagus tagliatelle). We’ll definitely visit again! Grazie mille

Visited Da Alfredo for lunch. Seated and given the wine menu. Looked through that and left without ordering! Even cheap table/house wine is way overpriced at £28 for a bottle! It seems they're offsetting comparable food prices by way overpricing cheap wines. So can't comment on food quality, but if you like a decent wine with your meal here, be prepared to pay way over the odds

We went here for an early supper. The service was very warm and friendly. The food was a bit bland. My friend had a pizza and I had the aubergine parmigiana. Wines were a bit pricey compared to the price of the food and other restaurants in the area. Very family friendly though. As there are so many Italian restaurants in Twickenham I think they need to improve on the food to have a repeat visit from me.

This Italian restaurant in Twickenham is undoubtedly the finest choice. It overlooks Twickenham Green through large, open windows, offering what I believe to be the best view in town throughout the year. The cuisine is exceptional, and the service is truly remarkable. I’d confidently rate it as a five-star experience; the staff is incredibly attentive. We had the privilege of sitting by the wide-open window, and whenever it rained unexpectedly, they promptly approached us to check if we were comfortable. Even when my mother needed to adjust her clothing during lunch, a gentleman kindly came over to inquire if we’d like the window closed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Used to be a fun, inexpensive meal out with the family. Now overpriced and the mark up on alcohol is OUTRAGEOUS. £10.95 for a bottle of beer and the cheapest bottle of wine is close to £30, with a bottle of Primitivo costing £55. Even if the wine is top class, it is not matched to the quality of the food. More inexpensive alcohol options needed. I won’t be going back until costs on drinks come down.

We celebrate family’s birthday here. They helped to tailor made a birthday cake for us & provided very excellent service throughout the dinner. Thanks specially to Antonio.

This was a surprizingly nice restaurant with very friendly service. The food was tasty too. Surprizing because I didnot even know of them and would probably not even try while passing by. However, i could for sure recommend eating there if you fancy Italian in the area.

Went for a bank holiday Monday and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Staff was helpful and friendly, atmosphere was tipically Italian and can't really say anything wrong about the experience. Food was delicious and prompt to arrive.

We were served last night by Antonio, who served us absolutely fantastic food (as it always is at Da Alfredo) with the kindest demeanour and utmost efficiency. A fantastic menu always executed deliciously and a lovely, smiley team of staff!

Lovely night out with the girls last night! Food totally amazing 2 of us had been before but the other 2 hadn’t, Im so glad we made the decision to go here. Each one of us had a different meal and each one of us raved about it. This has been my go to Italian for a while now and this won’t change anytime soon. Always friendly staff ,attentive but not too pushy Antonio and Lilly were lovely and friendly. Will be back soon.

Fantastic service and superb food. Had my Mother's 85th birthday at the restaurant on Sunday 2nd July, 2023. The owner and staff are so obliging, thoughtful and kind. Thank-you, we were all very impressed, you helped make our day very special indeed.

Four of us ate here. Our meals were well presented and piping hot. I opted for tagliatelle, prawns, asparagus & chilli but unfortunately it was a bit bland. The rest of our party's meals however, were tasty and delicious. We did think that the cost of a large bottle of beer was excessive at £10.95, whereas the cost of a glass of wine was a normal £7.95.

Went into Da Alfredo for the first time for Friday night family dinner tonight. The food was tasty and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We left relaxed and happy. The overall atmosphere was warm and fun.

We came to this restaurant for the first time this evening. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve travelled to Italy, to Rome and the Amalfi coast so I can say it was absolutely delicious from a real experience. Luca, Giovanni and Maggie were absolutely amazing. I can’t even bring in to words the joy I experienced. Go for yourself and experience the wonderful food and hospitality of this absolute gem of a restaurant. Situated at the heart of Twickenham right on the green.

Good quality real italian food without too many concessions to the English palate (e.g. Spaghetti Bolognese, which doesn't exist in Bologna)

Love the food and child (baby actually) friendly atmosphere here. I had Crostino Veggies and grilled sea bass with new potatoes & veggies and they were delicious! 10/10 for the service!

March update on this terrible experience - I wrote to Da Alfredo shortly after posting to explain my poor review in the hope that they might offer some small apology - they haven’t even bothered to reply. Hugely disappointing and expensive. Booked for a party of 6 for lunch - they did not mention that they were only offering a very limited fixed price “rugby” menu at £54.90 per head. Only realised this when we arrived with our friends at the time of the booking by which time it was too late to find an alternative. Ended up paying almost £500 for mediocre food - I’d think twice about paying that at a high end fine dining restaurant!

Fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant just near the charity car parking we use for the Rugby Internationals. Very accommodating, having not booked, great atmosphere and simple but delicious Italian food, antipasti starter board, pasta, pizza, specials and wine all excellent and spot on price wise. Will be back next time without a doubt, thank for the very friendly and knowledgeable service, especially from Antonio.

Fantastic!! Visited whilst staying in hotel at Heathrow Airport. The restaurant is very informal and has a great atmosphere. The food was outstanding and all our meals were cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and entertain diners by playing the violin/guitar around the restaurant. My daughter was leaving for Australia and it was also her birthday the day after, the staff made her last night extra special by singing HB and having her up to dance!! We all had a great evening and would love to go back if in the area again. Highly recommended 👌
