Pretty great pizza when lucky,they might have different chefs as sometimes the pizza is 10/10 and sometimes 6/10

A lovely Italian restaurant with freshly produced food in generous portions. Most of our party went for pizza last night and had large platefuls of loveliness and the garlic bread I had to accompany my lasagne was almost the same size. A lovely glass of Primitivo accompanied very nicely.

Great place and venue, food excellent but the restaurant was vibe-less. Will go back in the evening to see if that changes things.

Cozy place. Friendly service. Nice menu. Good wines. We were greeted well and seated at a nice table. A very nice young Italian lady waited on us. Wine was good, and the 500ml carafe is the best value. The goats cheese croquettes were delicious. My wife ordered the baked aubergine starter which came out cold with hot spots. Sent it back. They brought it back piping hot and a mush. But good flavour. That's what happens when you send things back due to temperature...they nuke it. We ordered pizzas for mains. Beautiful crust well baked. An abundance of toppings. But alas, no flavour. No salt, no oregano, no basil, no pepper, no sharp cheese...bland. Note to chefs in London: it's not about how it looks, it's about "sapore...il gusto!" Overall mediocre. Not bad, but not memorable enough to come back.

This restaurant offers a pleasant take on modern Italian food. The service was fast and friendly and the food good. I tried a starter and pizza. My bruschetta starter was nice, but the tomatoes were a bit bland for bruschetta (that might be a seasonal problem). The pizza was flavourful with a good texture. The La burrata pizza what well balanced with the creamy mozzarella ball complementing them salty meat and fresh tasting rocket. Overall, this is the second time we’ve been back and both times we’re good. I’d recommend Unico28 if you’re looking for a good alternative to the other Italian restaurants in the area,

Exceptional is the only word, we have been regulars since Unico28 opened and every time we visit it gets better and better. Tonight was no different. Nothing is too much for the team, we are treated like family every time we visit and the food deserves a Michelin star. Probably the best Bruschetta outside of Milan, the pizzas are perfection, the freshly made pasta is out of this world and the effort the chefs put into every single dish they make is second to none. A very very special restaurant owned and run by the nicest people you could ever meet. Thank you team Unico28, we cant wait to come back...

Had a lovely dinner here, the pizza was absolutely stunning, 10 out of 10! I had the burrata and parma ham pizza. My lemon custard and pastry dessert was nice enough, but nowhere near as lemony as I would have liked, it was more like a hint of lemon. The gelato on the side was also not creamy enough for me.

Nice Pizza, popped in on Friday lunchtime. It was empty, but pizza was served quickly and was nice.

The only restaurant that has prioritised the kids food over the adults. Most places bring the kids food last even when asked! Pizza was delicious! We will be back.

Went for lunch and really enjoyed our time. The goat cheese croquettes were delicious and we ordered a pizza as well that was authentic Italian pizza. Will come back!

Intimate venue with some interesting dishes. Update: 04/07/2020. Just visited for a post COVID-19 dinner. I'm not sure if it was eating home cooked meals for 3 months or if the chef was blessed by the gods; the food was divine. Update: 12/05/2023. New dishes on the menu, you have to try the fried courgette flowers and octopus stew starters.

What a lovely evening spend with my wife here. Definitely worth a visit, the pizzas are to die for a small but lovely selection of wines. We both a starts of arancini and calamari with butternut. Mains we had a beef pasta ravioli and a beautiful burrata pizza. And we shared a lovely strawberry ice cream with a disoranno.

Lovely local eatery! Great pizza, various topping choices - different from your typical pizza! Delicious wine and lovely staff. Interior is decorated nicely.

Good food. However only one vegan option and no alternative milk so could not have coffee after the meal.

A great choice of different and interesting food, as well as good quality, delicious pizzas. Highly recommend the Frittatina starter! The staff were polite and friendly and the restaurant itself has a very relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be heading back soon to sample more of the menu.

A great setting and easy location to get too, but what let down the evening was very slow service and no apology. It took 30 minutes for anyone to come over and take our drinks order and that was us calling them over. The food arrived and it was cold as there was a mix up over our order whereby two waiters disagreed right in our ear shot. The only saving grace was value for money and variety of menu choices.

Popped into Unico28 with my wife for an early evening meal....we had no booking but they quickly found us a table (I would advise you book if possible as the restaurant filled up quickly) I had a pizza and my wife had the risotto both were very good, we had a sharing cold meat platter as a starter that too was very nice....I would certainly recommend Unico28 without hesitation.

The first time we went there A very lovely place and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was really tasty. But my pud was to die for Warm chocolate and pistachio fondant, so lush. I would differently come again.

I been for a birthday there first time ever I loved everything, from food to atmosphere staff are very kind one of best pizza in uk I’ve had, but not only about pizza the pasta was out from this world was a joy to eat it !!! From the aperitif to the end everything was just perfect I could not recommend it enough thank you everyone to make that night just amazing !!! Looking forward to be back.❤️

Best Italian place for pizzas!🍕 Nice and modern bistro. Nibbles with food are really good. A part from the menu, there are specials every day. For people that could not eat gluten, there are gluten free options. My recommendation is the burrata pizza. It was delicious. The service was really good as well and staff was friendly. It is nice to be in a place where workers smile and help you with your order.There is wifi available as well.

Our first time here and it was brilliant. So nice to have a local restaurant that welcomes dogs too. The food was great but the staff make this place something really special, they’re so friendly and welcoming! We had a couple of issues with errors on our bill which were sorted out rapidly.

The food was absolutely incredible, some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had, but the evening was ruined by the terrible service. Drinks forgotten about, had to ask for a glass, constantly ignored, gave up on ordering dessert. A shame, if the service was better this place would be amazing. As it stands, I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Tried this place for the first time as had been meaning to for ages - not many good pizza places in the surrounding area. Ordered two pizzas to collect at 1915. Pro- delicious pizzas and interesting flavour combinations (artichoke base with salami caramelised onions and nduja) and several more I wanted to try. Con - had to wait over 15minutes for them whilst sitting in the restaurant - they were ready at 1935. Would buy again as they were really tasty but probably not to collect!

By far the best local Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Fantastic service, ambience and food. Highly recommend this place (along the Hampton Hill High Street) as we would come here again and again! I’ll be referring this place to all of my friends and family. Everything is well presented, and priced. If you’re unsure of what ‘Nibbles’ to order, the Beef Arancini took us by surprise due to how well it was made and tasted. It’ll be so wrong to not order it 😆

Quiet Fiday lunchtime meal was very good; lovely pizza and the salmon was also very tasty - complete with purple potato puree! All in all very good. We will come again.

Unfortunately since my last review,the place has lost his sparkle ot we haven't been lucky twice...because this is the second time in a month that the service is very slow (50min to eat ..same for the kids)..food quality is not the best (especially the fish)...staff needs to smile more and be more kind (the girls look always bored ).For the first time in 7months we complained but I don't think the owner was very happy with that ...better be trained next time !!

I’ve been yesterday evening at Unico 28 and it was an impeccable dinner. We booked a table which was very straightforward and easy over the phone. As we arrived we were greeted gracefully by almost every member of staff that we walked past. As we sat down our waitress Deimante was so incredibly friendly and very welcoming, talked us through the menu and through the specials give us some recommendations. She was the loveliest person throughout our dining experience with this restaurant. Such a friendly, smiling person, her service was prompt and efficient and I really can’t thanks enough for the amazing dinner we had. Food arrived quite quickly which was great. We ordered starters, mains, desserts, wines and cocktails. Everything was absolutely delicious and potentially the best Italian food I’ve ever tasted (hats off to the chefs). The team really work as one team and are so so friendly it makes you want to go back again. Highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

This pizza place is delicious, average priced for pizza, interesting toppings and combinations that offer great variety! Lots of vegetarian options. Regular specials which are worth checking before ordering. The wine is nice too, the house is a good one to order. They also have pasta dishes. The staff are kind and attentive. Decor is relaxed. Recommend. During lockdown they offered blankets for the small number of outside tables. Good service.

6 star waitress. She was very good. My only advice from this experience is keep her plus the French fellow 😅👍. The food was excellent. New chef now but the menu honestly bored me a little. Service was extra long but I'm not sure if that's because they could tell we were not in a rush, or if they were struggling to get the plates out. 4 stars because of the menu and my calzone missing my extra topping. Other than that the inlaws loved it and so did we. Will return and hopefully light up their last star! Vege pizza was nice. The goats cheese crochet is sublime and the calzone has just the right amount of 'stretchyness' in the cheese that you feel like your In a TV advert. Definitely try this

I love Unico28! I’ve been twice and the experience is always great. Service is spot on and food is always 10/10. They never say no to any requirements.

Had dinner here and was very impressed. It's an excellent Italian restaurant. Pizza was as good as I've had with a great salad perfectly dressed and a great Primitivo. And all at a reasonable price too.

Unico28 is a super restaurant on Hampton Hill High Street. An intriguing interior with some lovely nooks and crannies, nicely cosy and as intimate as you might want it to be. Staff were all lovely and welcoming, and helpful throughout our meal, but still politely discrete. We found the pace of our dinner to be perfect, not rushed through our courses, and with time allowed between pizza and pudding, always appreciated! Food was great, a super selection in the bread basket, wonderful pizza and pasta, and the tiramisu dessert was simply divine. Thank you to everyone for a lovely evening out, just what was needed to unwind after a stressful week. Cheers SailorBaeJon

It has been so long since I’ve had a first class experience in a restaurant I felt I had to review this place. Even with our 2 year old who is programmed to ruin ours and everyone else’s dining experience, this place didn’t falter. Excellent, friendly, service. Wonderful food. Beautifully decorated. Local!
