The best restaurants in Merton London

Opted for mango/strawberry sorbet on a cone and mango sorbet/choc hazelnut coffee. Both excellent options with strong flavours. Generous portion sizes. Quite a long queue but moved swiftly. Some seating available too. Definitely left feeling satisfied. Best gelato and best value in London?! It is definitely up there! Must try!

Me encontré con un amigo en Elys of Wimbledon y entramos en Caffe Nero para tomar un café. El personal de servicio fue muy eficiente y la cola se movió rápidamente. Hay muchas mesas y sillas y algunos pequeños sillones con mesas. Pedí nuestros cafés grandes y ambos fueron servidos rápidamente, muy caliente y muy agradable. Venden sándwiches y bebidas frías también y hay agua fría disponible con tazas en la estación de azúcar, un toque agradable. Así que si estás en las tiendas de Elys of Wimbledon, prueba esta cafetería, ya que es una buena zona para sentarse y charlar o simplemente leer el periódico, ¡y el café también es bueno!

Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Food is delicious. Prices are very reasonable.

I recently attended my cousin's event, on 26th August, neha rasoon's wedding, which was catered by Tabaq Caterers, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely lovely – from the rich flavors to the perfect presentation. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and you could taste the quality and care in each bite. The menu had a wonderful variety, and everything was cooked to perfection. Whether it was the appetizers, mains, or desserts, the flavors were authentic and delicious. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was also impeccable. The staff was attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend Tabaq Caterers for any event if you’re looking for a memorable culinary experience!

For years when I want to eat a proper tasty donar or Shawarma, I go to this place and it never fails me. I went again last week and we enjoyed the food and friendly welcome from the staff. I used to work for food delivery apps, and tried many kebab places and this one is right at the top of the list.

Very comfortable and clean local gastro pub with a wide range of diverse beers and ales. On top of that family friendly.

A massive thank you to all the staff ,we held a wake here for my Dad and everything was lovely, the food was very nice and portion sizes where good , the staff where excellent throughout our stay and very attentive for anything we needed. Thank You

Very friendly place. Great food

Love this pub and come for a drink regularly. Unfortunately this evening we received what can only be described as appalling service. The staff are usually a pleasure however on the occasion it was uncomfortable and left us disappointed.

Food/service/ambience all nothing special, but INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE!

Went for afternoon tea and it was petty quiet and the platters were delicious but the scones were a little dry despite the lovely clotted cream and jam (which was bangin'). I enjoyed the service thoroughly and the tea options were good and quite unique. I'd highly recommend and would return!
