Raynes Park in Merton

A little underwhelming...looks great and appealing from the outside but just a little cold and unwelcome on the inside.

Lovely pub, super dog friendly (regularly pop in with my golden retriever and they always have treats on the counter) & very helpful staff. Would also recommend the cheesy garlic bread if you’re in need of a snack !

Local pub serving ,typical pub food while also offering a wide range of beers, with in a workman's club like setting.. View sports, play pool/snooker, or darts, relax as you sit out side and watch the world go by. Hit and miss with the food served cold to luke warm .

A good local pub, very handy for the station. Rather than standing on a cold platform for 20 minutes, you can have a beer and leave the pub 3 minutes before your train is due.

The mens needs a mop from time to time, or at least solve the leaky pipes. The details matter and its not pleasant. Its also frustrating when staff don t want to serve that they move to the other side of the bar.

Service was a little slow but friendly, great choice of drinks but sadly that's were the positives finish, I would not recommend this place to eat, by far the worst Greene king I have eaten at, the food came out extremely quick but everything had a chewy texture to it as if it had just came out of the microwave.

Food is rubbish since the refurbishment (in theory it should be better as the menu has improved but the food has not). The bar staff are all friendly and offer great service It's just a shame about the food.

Had a couple of beers with a friend. A nice pub with good selection of beers.

We had a joint family party Saturday night and we all had a fantastic time. The staff were amazing and the biggest THANK YOU is to Danielle who went above and beyond to make sure our guests were well looked after. I have no problem in recommending this venue to anyone. Again THANK YOU TO ALL X

Pagamos por un buffet para 40 y la comida era increíble 👏 Gracias chefs y gracias a todo el personal del bar que nos estaban atendiendo desde la 1. 30 pm hasta el cierre. El mayor AGRADECIMIENTO es a Danielle la gerente por ir más allá para ayudar a nuestros huéspedes en muchas situaciones. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera en cualquier momento. Gracias a todos.

Very pleasant Inn. Ideal place to spend a while before an engagement . The drink I had was very reasonably priced.

Tavern was busy but plenty of staff. Enjoyed myself as usual. Could not think of a complaint.

We ordered Sunday roasts - chicken and beef and I must say it was the worst I have ever had. I think it beats spoons at how bad it was. Paid £15 for roast. You are better off ordering food at the chicken shop opposite the pub.

This Pub is OK. Beer is cold, burger was very tasty and there is plenty of space outside, perfect this time of year.

I recently visited to collect a bar, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the service. A staff member named Alfie went above and beyond to assist me. He was incredibly helpful and took the time to help me get the bar outside, which made the whole process so much easier. Alfie's exceptional customer service really stood out and made my experience a memorable one. I highly recommend this pub for their friendly and attentive staff.

It's is a pleasant pub to enjoy food, drink and the atmosphere. I will visit again most definitely.

No entiendo por qué este lugar tiene tantas críticas de 5 estrellas. El menú se ve bien, pero en realidad es solo comida reconfortante y stogy. Tomamos varias tapas. Los Bao Buns eran secos, resistentes y nada parecido a la variedad china. Picante Calamari estaban bien, pero el Halloumi era bastante insípido. Las salchichas y las bravas de papa eran comunes pero al menos las porciones eran grandes. Me gustó el cerdo tirado sin embargo. El lugar en sí dentro es grande con 2 televisores. Tiene 2 áreas abiertas en el exterior, pero desafortunadamente había mucho humo y las áreas de comedor no eran particularmente agradables. El servicio era bueno y educado, pero las primeras 5 cervezas de barril que pedí estaban todas agotadas! Puedes creerlo en un pub.

Booked a table online for food at 9.15 only to go there and find out the kitchen is closed.

Tiny portion, food smelt off - please don’t waste your money there service was terrible also

Edible… but that’s about it. The photo is meant to be BBQ chicken. It tasted ok but we were really hungry so it didn’t really matter what it tasted like. It came deconstructed - a dry chicken breast, sat on top of some bbq sauce, then with some squeezy cheese substance on top and a piece of bacon. Not worth £15, that’s for sure…. Head to the Morden brook down the road. It’s a greene king too, you get nicer food and pay half the price

Good location, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great. And you order fries separately for an extra £2.50 and get a portion that would make you think the Germans are still overhead.

Also, responded to their request for more info and heard back nothing.* Another bad Greene King pub. Never has any cask ale available, pretty much ever, which is abysmal for a brewery run pub. Same thing with other GK pubs, no idea what’s going on with this company.

Nice pub but attitude of staff unbelievable. Swearing at the top of their voices...even above the music playing. Perhaps walk around cleaning the bar rather than pretending every punter is your best buddy??? Sign of the times and breakdown of social norms. I'm sure I'll get a comeback calling me a "Karen" lol. Absolutely shocking service,I waited whilst 6 people got served before me,no customer awareness at all. This is not a one off it happens all the time.it seems to be a real effort for the bar staff to do their job.

Dropped in for a couple of drinks on the way home , a nice pub has been done up well with a nice atmosphere for the rugby that was showing on the screens around the pub .

My local pub and it has definitely improved since the refurbishment. One thing that does need to be sorted out is the outdoor heating goes off less than every minute so if they could improve that I would go there more!

Very poor service. You can wait and wait to be serve while the bar staff do anything other than serve drinks. I asked to talk to the manager to provide feedback, she was not interested in my comments and refused to serve me! To be very clear, I wasn't abusive nor did I use foul language. On the previous round I bought the manager a drink and commented on that she was the only person serving! Avoid this place and drink elsewhere and have a far better night out,

Visited here this evening for a drink on the way home on passing. Only a brief visit for a pint of Birra Moretti, and for majority of time sat outside. Lovely friendly chilled atmosphere throughout. Will return again.. Top tip: The outside area is really nice when dark! Check the photos on this review to see.

Great, modern pub. A happy place to be. We love a pint here after a long day. But we miss your Clwb Tropica! We were it’s biggest fans and this was the only pub that had it for miles! BRING IT BACK PLEASSSEEEE! UPDATE! Our prayers were answered and the lovely people at this establishment bought our fave back. Go visit them!

2 years ago: Good window seats, good sharing platter and 2 mains for £10. Enjoyed the Meat Loaf tribute act! Update: following renovation it looks nicer, toilets much nicer, prices are higher. Very good beer selection. A burger I had recently was very greasy and chicken salad sandwich was poor, I'm not sure the food quality justifies the increased prices especially compared to local restaurants at similar prices. However I very much enjoy the decor, ambience and the new Greene King beers like Level Head. May be taking my gf there tonight for a drink before we go to a restaurant 😄

Went in for a pre- show drink. Had a Mali-&- coke & was shocked @ the price, but guess that's London pricing. I was served politely & with the drink I asked for.

When they just reopened, the food was brilliant. Way better than just 'pub food'. However, now they're struggling a bit. I/we came back a few times to eat - because I really like the atmosphere - and every time I wished I didn't. It now does what it says on the tin. Good for a beer though!

Excruciating musician singing bad covers, two bouncers for about fifteen people, dodgy looking fruities, really not a good place to spend Saturday night. But has had a kick of paint recently and the bar staff were good. Don’t think Saturday nights have ever been the thing… more of a midweek pub.

The rudest manager - have been here a few times and am local and gave her the benefit of the doubt as though she might be having a bad day. But consistently rude, horrible and unnecessarily aggressive. Stay away.

Ordered their cheese and bacon burger - best pub burger I’ve had in ages. Hand made juicy patty, cooked perfectly. You can tell when a chef enjoys his job. Will be eating here again. Decent choice of beers too.
