Toni is a wonderful man, the service was great and the food was very flavourful. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and would definitely recommend.

A surprising little shop, it feels like the best neighborhood coffee shop I’ve encountered since arriving in London! The coffee is very fragrant and the hand brewing is amazing! The avocado toast I ordered was very fragrant and full of texture with sesame seeds and chopped peanuts, and the chili sauce was awesome. The overall decoration of the store is simple and elegant. There are not many diners in the store on weekdays, but there is a constant flow of people. It can be seen that it is a very popular store nearby. I like it! !

This is a gem of a place. Such a treat to go for breakfast/brunch. The food is really high quality and of course, very tasty. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. If I lived locally, I'd make a visit every week!

Such a lovely place with delicious, well presented food. My husband and I have breakfast here every Saturday. We look forward to seeing the staff and enjoying the atmosphere.

What a lovely place! The ceilings are nice and high, the filter coffee is one of the best and most unique I've had, and the Turkish eggs are spectacular. It's a good thing I like garlic though. Lol. Great service and friendly staff. Will return soon.

Amazing find! We enjoyed by far the best food we’ve had in a coffee house in a long time (and we were in the trade ourselves). Fabulous garlic mushrooms on toast with tapenade & feta, totally delicious, these guys can seriously cook! Coffee was fruity & delicious too. Staff extremely lovely & friendly despite being so busy. So good we visited twice today! Thank you for the impressive attention to detail in everything - we noticed & we’ll be back ☺️

Guys why aren’t people talking more about this place …. It was great today I wish I had taken a picture one the coffee was absolutely fab and the tiramisu cake ahhhhh where so I begin I expected it to be dry and the regular off the mill kinda thing but since I was starving and needed something to lift my mood in this heat all I could think was to treat myself hence got the cake slice and was I in for a surprise it was so soft and the perfect blend of flavour …. You’ve gotta try it … the staff was super sweet as I was a bit nervous since my parking app wasn’t showing me the code to the street so the lady directed me where to locate it but besides that the place had such a calm vibe and to top it they serve halal chicken so going back with my husband soon

Hands down the best coffee I've had in London. Have been coming here regularly for over a year. Georgia, Lee and the team are super friendly, and the food (cakes, pastries and lunch / breakfast) is delicous. Saucer & cup has quickly become one of the (many) reasons I enjoy living in southfields so much!

Nice open and bright space. Coffee was really good. Was really busy on Saturday and very loud. Disappointed they ran out of pastries before 10am and Google pay wasn't accepted.

This was a lovely first stop on our capital ring walk from Wimbledon to Richmond Park. The staff was super friendly and the food really good. We had the avocado toast with egg and in my time in London I have not had a more ample serving of avocado! The food was nicely spiced, too. Definitely recommend!

Nice coffee need to come back and try the food

The service at this shop was very poor. We ordered two coffees and a slice of cake. When my daughter wanted a babycino, they charged me two pounds and made us wait a long time. As we were leaving, I was pushing the stroller with my daughter in it, and the shop door was too narrow. I struggled to open the door and push the stroller over the threshold at the same time. The staff didn't offer any help, and my daughter's hand got caught in the door, causing her to cry loudly.

5 stars, congrats for the service, for the quality of food… wooow… just amazing, also it’s big portions, so it’s worth for what you are paying!! 5 ⭐️s

Our favourite coffee shop in London and we’ve tried loads! A little gem in Wimbledon Park, with the best coffee, yummiest food and awesome staff. Love the interior and the chilled out vibes. Whenever we return to London, now that we’ve left, we make a point to return and that says it all. Highly recommend ❤️

Saucer & Cup has the best chai latte ever. I’ve had my first cup 2 years ago, and was much impressed by its original taste, and the craftsman approach to brewing. This time coming back to the cafe, only filled with my heart with much joy and delight. The store staff are very friendly and bring a sense of sunshine to the community. The store owner Tony is a very kind gentleman who cares deeply about his customer and pays great attention to the quality of the coffee and food he offers. It’s one of my favourite cafes in London and I highly recommend it.

Incredible brunch, best I've had out in a while, and great coffee!

Amazing food, decent portions. The upstairs is manic and crammed on weekends but downstairs calm and peaceful. The toast with mushrooms dish was outstanding. Staff were friendly and the food arrived quick.

I understand £3.20 for a cup of coffee is normal these days I’ve got no complain about that but £4.00 for a pàn a raisin? Wow that is a crazy price to pay for such.

I have been coming here for a few years as I live round the corner. The coffee is 10/10. The food is 10/10. The coffee has always been exceptional. The owner of the café is lovely. HOWEVER, the older man behind the till is spoiling everything. He does not have customer service skills, he never smiles, he makes people feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. On one occasion, I came half an hour before closing time; he was standing in front of the door and as I approached the café he asked me: ‘What do you want?!’ just like that, no hello, nothing. I said: ‘coffee’. He replied: ‘Coffee machine is out of service. Come tomorrow.’ There is one way to inform customers about this, and then there’s THIS way. Today, I came here for breakfast from a hospital appointment and I had an unbranded cardboard cup in my hand (the kind of cup you get in hospitals). The moment I walked in, he pointed at it and said that I couldn’t use it inside the café. I understand not bringing outside food inside a restaurant, but a generic brown cardboard cup in a café after literally ordering breakfast and coffee to have inside is a bit exaggerated. Being a loyal customer and not a time waster, I expected to be treated a bit better.

some very high quality coffee – the best flat white I’ve had in a long time, and the best cappuccino my uncle has ever had. The orange cake with lavender was absolutely delicious, and we were very warmly welcomed by the staff who worked there.

Arrived with my 2 kids at 10:30, there were spare tables and some families. Was very grumpily i couldn’t bring the (collapsible) buggy in. Another customer kindly offered to make room but by that point I had no intention of staying where I clearly wasn’t welcome. Don’t think I’ve ever been treated so rudely.

I could not give this breakfast a higher marking, it was outstanding in every way and every ingredient The bacon, best in London, the eggs, the bread, the presentation and the taste, all outstanding. I cannot rate this place more highly. I would give it the highest mark possible, 11/10. The coffee is delicious. Ps. Georgia is a fantastic host! See you next week!

Really delicious brunch- best I've had for a while (apart from the croissants that were really average) but the service was really disappointing. I was made to feel really unwelcome with my 2 children who weren't causing any issues.

Excellent coffee, quality food and lovely people.

I can't rave about this place enough. I stopped here for a quick high quality coffee when I was visiting the area for a short time with my youngest son's girlfriend and the Turkish chap behind the till recommended an alternative natural coffee which was delicious. I ordered the Turkish eggs. Not really knowing what I was doing and they were incredible. It was quite busy but we were able to get a table quite easily. I noticed a very high-end sound system which I wished I could have heard. Thoroughly recommended. You will not be disappointed with the atmosphere or the coffee or the food for that matter.

The food here is delicious and the coffee is great quality. Where the business lets itself down is the unfriendliness of the staff and in particular the unfavourable treatment of workers on laptops. The team don’t seem to want to welcome people like me, despite us being a large amount of their business. They forced me to work in a certain area because I had laptop (despite families with screaming kids being allowed to sit anywhere, which felt like double standards), were slow and a bit grumpy about providing the WiFi password, and generally weren’t particularly friendly. It was a shame as I would be a daily customer with great food and drink like this if they had the attitude to match :(

First time in this cafe as my friend recommended here, and I absolutely loved it! Chill vibes with great service and the food we ordered, which were Sweet potato fritters, Turkish eggs and Mushroom toast was not just delicious but also visually appealing! The coffee and desserts were also pleasant and I strongly recommend to try the egg tart. I will definitely come back here soon :)

I’ve eaten here a few times over the years. It’s always been ok and gets repeat custom as it’s convenient. Normally I’d ignore the things that could be better about a small business but this morning the guy behind the till was particularly rude. I explained I was waiting for someone but would get a coffee. While I was offering to pay for the coffee, the least-friendly-man-in-the-world cut me off and barked “of course you’ll pay for the coffee, it’s how we do things around here”. This is a real shame as the business has a good location, nice interior and could be brilliant. The fact that it’s empty at 9am on a Saturday morning when other places are busy is possibly a reflection on the attitude towards customers. The place should be thriving but needs to stop treating customers as an irritant. I’m sorry if you’re unhappy with what you do so maybe find something that is more fulfilling so you stop bringing everyone else down.

Delightfully fresh cafe that is finishing off a refurb. Light, airy and popular. But the real reason to go is the coffee, of course. Delicious and artistically presented. The cakes looked delicious too but I wasn’t allowed to partake! Next time, maybe! Situated just across the road from Wimbledon Park Tube station. Highly recommended!

A nice coffee, ruined by very unprofessional staff! The young male server / barista with tattoos was pretty rude with me while serving, and then spent the rest of my time there being rude about people who work in the corporate world to one of the customers, shouting this over the coffee shop.....where I’m pretty sure the majority of customers work in corporate jobs :’) it made for an entertaining visit, but not my idea of a relaxing morning coffee! Great potential in this coffee shop as it’s a lovely interior fitout and nice menu too, but I’d suggest management retrain their staff in the basics.

While on a short break in London we ate brunch here as a family several times over 6 days. The brunch/breakfast choices have something for everybody and full of flavour and are executed very well; takeaway coffee and pastries sampled too. There is a chilled atmosphere inside and its very relaxing. A perfect place to start your day especially on holiday. Staff were laid back & friendly. Highly recommend if you are in the area or would say worth a take a detour on your way to/back from Wimbledon if using the District Line. Its very close to Wimbledon Park Tube.

We have been regulars at this coffee shop since it opened. The coffee is the best we’ve had anywhere and the food is also terrific. We’ve recently moved away from the area and one of the things I miss most is a decent flat white so when we had reason to come back to the area today this was a must visit. The family and staff are always friendly and welcoming and it was lovely to be back. Do visit - you won’t be disappointed.

Unfriendly and unwilling to provide bread for a child despite sandwiches being made on site. Made to feel unwelcome and an imposition with a pram. Don’t bother going when there are nicer places literally on the other side of the road.

Just visited this place for the last time. The staff are not friendly at all. The man with the tattoos gives the impression that he doesn't want you there. He gives the feeling that your coffee order is an inconvenience to him. It's a shame as I've always supported local businesses but this place is not worth the experience. Also, the photos on its website and on here and other review sites are misleading. It never has any customers inside eating the food, they essentially serve hot drinks. Perhaps, if the staff smiled and developed positive customer engagement, they'd actually have sitting and eating customers.

Visited recently for the first time, as not local but met family there. I support independents. Really good cup of tea, and I gather the hot chocolate and coffee was just as good. The staff were friendly too, practically opposite Wimbledon Park tube station.

Can’t believe that people would give a bad review on the customer service at this lovely quaint little coffee shop. The service has always been second to none and as with the coffee the cakes etc I cannot fault it.The staff here can never do enough to make sure that your visit is a pleasant one.

The good: decent coffee, decent sandwiches and cakes, good location very close to Wimbledon Park station.The bad: the staff needs to be trained on what customer service is. A decent coffee cannot make up on poor service. Not recommending this place. There are other coffee shops where my custom is appreciated.
