Would not recommend as the server lady was very rude and she tried to over charge us at the end as well. Food was very dry and not great to. Would not go back

La Moda. Where can I start. The service is amazing. We come here every week there is no where else I’d rather be. There’s the main lounge for outings and the back garden bit where you can relax, play chess cards dominoes etc. The manager Farhood always welcomes us and provides the best service. Best shisha lounge in UK!

Great experience, really enjoyed myself. Settings is amazing, food is good value and the Manager took good care of me and my partner. Will definitely be coming back here.

My experience at La moda was exceptional, the food was good , and didn’t take long to arrive to my table. The staff were welcoming particularly my waiter yesterday Yasmin she was kind, friendly and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend La moda.

Edited 3rd May 2025 - very disappointed at the prices and serving sizes - seems to have gone downhill. Attached a photo of a £9.50 hummus with lamb (two bites taken out, as I forgot to take one sooner!), when we asked the server about the very small portion, he added another to the order instead of bringing a reasonable portion out. So we ended up spending £19 on two orders of humous 😅 such a let down as this is usually our go-to shisha spot. Spent ~£50 pp. Service otherwise great, fix the prices or the portions, so it’s sensible!! 🙏🏽

The decor of the restaurant is lovely. The food did not equate to the poor quality & bland food&service. The size of lamb chops and portion of ribs is good. Ribs had more flavour. The starters of veg& meat samosas tasted like oven food. The lamb kofta tasted strange, not like authentic lamb. The rice had no flavour. The fresh drinks are the same price as the mocktails £8.95. There weren't many people in the restaurant, and the service was extremely slow. It was disappointing. I or my party would not recommend or return here.

Just called and tried to place an order. They said "no" as they are "closing in 4 hours" and need time to "lay they eggs" and they hung up the phone on me. I was simply trying to tell them about the passing of my guinea pig, Sir Fluffington III, hoping they might spare a moment for compassion (or at least a side of fries). Instead, I was left clutching the receiver, tearful and fryless, while imagining a kitchen full of angry chefs squatting on giant nests. Service: 0/10. Ambience: Mostly bird noises (over the phone). Will not be returning unless I sprout wings.

I was there on Wednesday night. The food and service were great, and the management team were really kind and hospitable. All the staff were good, especially Sahand who was very nice and caring.

Excellent value and great customer service.

Food was absolutely horrible with no flavour. The chicken was sour and unedible. Had to bring it back as it was nasty. The manager was so rude and unprofessional. Ruined my nans birthday and was told to apologise for his unreasonable behaviour and attitude. Don’t waste your time. Go someone where else. AS I CANT REPLY TO THE OWNERS COMMENTS It was not an online booking. There was not 18 of us. And we paid for the food and drinks consumed. The problem was the MANAGERS unprofessional behaviour to the complaint’s made and his snarky comments towards the table. The waiter was kind and apologised when needed.

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, and everything was perfect! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The customer service was outstanding, making the night even more special. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience!

The chicken shish was absolutely disgusting. 4 table members ordered the same and all plates we tangy and tasted off. Spoke to the manager and he said iv obviously never had this type of food before.... will I return....nope

The place is really beautiful but the staff seems a little bit lost. The food was not bad, but in my opinion had a lot olive oil, and I come from a country that uses a lot olive oil. Their menu was confusing and incorrect. We had to call the staff and ask which one was the correct one. I don’t think the staff was nice and the bathrooms were not very clean

hey so i’ve just came out of this restaurant. the chips taste like morley’s fries… just 14£ more! the burger had a sauce which tasted like nasty vomit.. i only recommend the blue lagoon which is reasonable good. i won’t hate on their service very good but never again

nasty food.. the burger had a mary piece of cheese and the so called “special sauce” was definitely not something they should be selling… cheap food… tasted like morley, could’ve went to bossman for around 4 burgers and more fries with the price of this

When we first got the restaurant we was waiting to be seated for about 5/10 mins, even one of the waiters saw us and completely ignored us. When my boyfriend said hello mate we've booked a table can someone see to us the waiter told us “yeah we will, wait” !!! We eventually got sat down next to the big window they have there, although the window was the closed you could feel the biggest draft coming out so it was so cold we moved tables, other couple were moving away from the window as well. We then ordered our food which was beautifully presented but it just lacked flavour and had none what so ever! Very bland food! We were half way through our starters and they brought our main out to us. I had the lamb shank and my boyfriend had the mixed grill which I imagine both dishes take a while to cook so for it to be ready in 20 mins is a bit mind boggling. Again the mains lacked any flavour and I found myself having to add sauces/salt to everything because it was so bland! The atmosphere was very quiet & they seemed to be more focused on the people at the back of the facility who were smoking shisha. We couldn’t wait to get out of that place and we wished we had walked out as soon as we were told to wait, silly us for giving them a second chance! Will never be returning

Dear people of new Malden and the wider world, I encourage you to not ever come to this restaurant. The food was bland at best and the staff were not helpful at all. My husband’s chicken was stone cold as it was reheated and I was not impressed by the fact that when he went to complain and ask for a new meal they didn’t even bring out the right one if apologise. It was quite chilly and also looked like there were teens coming to smoke shisha.If you have any sort of sense you will never visit this place. The manager didn’t even have the courtesy to come and apologise. A very expensive meal for terrible food and service. This is my first and last time . Spent £114 despite one of the meals being knocked iff the bill . Overpriced for what it is . Awful 😞

First and last time visiting this spot. Gen Z may be happy for the ticktock, IG aesthetics .. me, I'm a foodie and this place would embarrass any Middle Eastern chef. Food was awful starters could have been frozen food from Iceland put in air fryer, although that's an insult to Iceland. Mains were tasteless, meat im sure was thawed frozen meat. Ribs, shish, all over cooked and no seasoning. Best thing was chai tea and plate of chips. Wish that was all I'd ordered.. biggest waste of 65 quid ever. Soooo disappointed. Also, had to eat in coat as the place was freezing.. not a great birthday celebration for our family. I'd give zero star for food if I could. Waiter was sweet and tried his best bless him.

Lamoda is my go to place for every week with my friends, sheesha is amazing and price is quiet reasonable, the atmosphere is always welcoming, and the service is top-notch. A special shoutout to Sarmad, Farhood, and Yasmeen—these three are absolutely amazing. Their friendly, attentive service always makes my visits so enjoyable. I can’t forget to mention the rest of the staff either; even though I don’t know all their names, they are always so kind and helpful. They never disappoints, Highly Recommended

First time visiting La Moda today. The atmosphere was ok, the food was very bland. Enjoyed the baklava and karak chai. Service was good. Spent £135 on Mix mezeh, potatoes, falafel,chicken burger, cheese burger, lamb shank and chicken shesh, buklava. A little dear, especially as the good was ok! We sat in the "VIP" section upstairs, which wasn't great. Big screens, the hubby and son watched footie! Very loud music. And the was a draft coming from somewhere, so it became chilly. It's probably a good venue for hanging with friend, but not the best for a family with young kids.

We have just enjoyed a meal here. The food was brilliant. The service by the waiting staff was great. After our meal we requested tea and shisha - we were seated outside and our order was taken but then a guy waiter came over and said “the shisha would be too strong for us” - we tried to explain that we had done it before and wanted what we had ordered but again he kept saying it would be too strong. So we cancelled the shisha and sat there with our tea while everyone around was enjoying their shisha. Terrible service and I am upset at this experience

overcharged all of us and took over 30 mins to bring out the cake, charged me for a random candle on the cake even though I already gave candles that I wanted on the cake. food was not great and very dry chicken sheesh. mocktails did not taste good. also the service lady was acting rude just because I had my birthday acrylic nails done so was struggling when putting my card pin in. then at the end the lady tried say we hadn’t paid everything when we clearly had. I always tip in restaurants and everything but it was the point of principle where the food and service was bad and they tried pretend we hadn’t paid everything.

Horrible experience, I went with my friends for my birthday, and had to wait over 3 hours just for the main course, the waiters were rude and without getting our main course the waiters tried to move our table to a garden to make way for new people without my group having our main course. Overall bad experience and the food was mediocre nothing special, the lights and the place did look nice though.

We had a party organised for us at the La Moda lounge. My guests were looked after by La Moda staff. Manager, Farhood was very helpful in making sure that all details of the evening was achieved to its highest standards. Yasmin was very professional is serving our guests of 35 people. Thanks for the amazing time, food and service.

I booked a res for my 16 year old sister! And i called up the restaurant to tell them to do a cake and sing Happy Birthday…!! I got them 3 times and they agreed they will do it!! Im so disappointed with the service and how it went about! Ill never recommend this place to anyone! I called up and said what colour the sister was wearing and he said it will be done! So disappointed! Will defo not recommend here for a birthday party at all!!

My friends and I went to this restaurant for the first time. Everything was great. The food was unique with excellent taste, and the service and behavior of the staff were exceptional and perfect, especially the assistant manager, Farhood. The restaurant also has beautiful decor.

😡 😡 To start with I ordered peach iced tea for my drink, I wasn’t expecting to see a bottle of Liptons iced tea in front of me for £4.95!! Then I ordered chicken wings for starter to find 4 tiny pieces for £9.95!! My girlfriend had breaded king prawns to start and they were great. However, for main, I ordered the 3 skewers so I could try the chicken shish, lamb shish and lamb kofte…it was very underwhelming, lamb shish was tough & the kofte was bland. And then to find that the bill was £97 for 2 people was a shock for an average at best meal.

The food was under cooked lamb especially, The service that we received and other people received was not worth the service charge. We asked for something for the starters however this dish came when it was home time. They need to hire more staff so that they could cater a busy restaurant floor and also need to train the staff how to take orders from other customers. The shisha was ok not one of the best ones I have had. I would think twice before coming here. Our bill was a hefty amount

The decor was super nice and the staff were very kind as well. The food was super delicious, especially the hot meze platter (I would highly recommend it!) The manager Amir is extremely friendly and easy to get along with. I'm definitely going back there at some point in the future.

I do recommend this place. I came here with my colleagues, and we enjoyed so much of it. Had 3 kinds of skewers, cold mezze platters and rice with aubergine. Food was amazing, and tea as well. Moroccan tea was sweet and refreshing. Especially i really appreciate Amir. He was wonderful and very kind.

Ever since the chef has changed the food has been absolutely awful. It used to be the best restaurant I knew but now the food, especially the kebab, is very underwhelming.

Everything was amazing. The waitress was so polite, and we attended ladies' night at the restaurant. The DJ was fantastic, and we had an incredible night. As the Arabic saying , "كان من ليالي العمر" ("It was a night to remember"). We highly recommend this restaurant; it's the best in London. The food was WOW 🫶🏻

Had a lovely time here. The food was tasty and freshly grilled, with generous portions for the price, and service was very friendly and helpful (my mum was given a special birthday cake for free). Drinks were way too pricy and the restaurant was quiet for a Saturday evening, but we had a great time and would return.

🍠The service was very good, the food was dissapointing . Order vegetarian Ockra sauce and bulgar rice . A small bowl with three Ockra sliced in half filled with sauce ! Meal was not of quality. Price paid definitely does not reflect meal. I hope changes can be made for vegetarian lovers 🥦
