La Moda Restaurant in Merton

We had a party organised for us at the La Moda lounge. My guests were looked after by La Moda staff. Manager, Farhood was very helpful in making sure that all details of the evening was achieved to its highest standards. Yasmin was very professional is serving our guests of 35 people. Thanks for the amazing time, food and service.

Horrible experience, I went with my friends for my birthday, and had to wait over 3 hours just for the main course, the waiters were rude and without getting our main course the waiters tried to move our table to a garden to make way for new people without my group having our main course. Overall bad experience and the food was mediocre nothing special, the lights and the place did look nice though.

Farhood was very very kind, honestly made me birthday absolutely AMAZING!! Such kind staff and honestly would recommend anyone having their birthday there!! The food was amazing and the staff were so patient and gave me really good recommendations! Amazing place✨✨✨ amir was so helpful as well!! Such great staff

I booked a res for my 16 year old sister! And i called up the restaurant to tell them to do a cake and sing Happy Birthday…!! I got them 3 times and they agreed they will do it!! Im so disappointed with the service and how it went about! Ill never recommend this place to anyone! I called up and said what colour the sister was wearing and he said it will be done! So disappointed! Will defo not recommend here for a birthday party at all!!

My friends and I went to this restaurant for the first time. Everything was great. The food was unique with excellent taste, and the service and behavior of the staff were exceptional and perfect, especially the assistant manager, Farhood. The restaurant also has beautiful decor.

😡 😡 To start with I ordered peach iced tea for my drink, I wasn’t expecting to see a bottle of Liptons iced tea in front of me for £4.95!! Then I ordered chicken wings for starter to find 4 tiny pieces for £9.95!! My girlfriend had breaded king prawns to start and they were great. However, for main, I ordered the 3 skewers so I could try the chicken shish, lamb shish and lamb kofte…it was very underwhelming, lamb shish was tough & the kofte was bland. And then to find that the bill was £97 for 2 people was a shock for an average at best meal.

The food was under cooked lamb especially, The service that we received and other people received was not worth the service charge. We asked for something for the starters however this dish came when it was home time. They need to hire more staff so that they could cater a busy restaurant floor and also need to train the staff how to take orders from other customers. The shisha was ok not one of the best ones I have had. I would think twice before coming here. Our bill was a hefty amount

The decor was super nice and the staff were very kind as well. The food was super delicious, especially the hot meze platter (I would highly recommend it!) The manager Amir is extremely friendly and easy to get along with. I'm definitely going back there at some point in the future.

I do recommend this place. I came here with my colleagues, and we enjoyed so much of it. Had 3 kinds of skewers, cold mezze platters and rice with aubergine. Food was amazing, and tea as well. Moroccan tea was sweet and refreshing. Especially i really appreciate Amir. He was wonderful and very kind.

Amid and the team provided a great atmosphere for a birthday dinner we held in the VIP wrea. On top of this the food was amazing and service exceptional and good value . Will definitely be dining here again

Ever since the chef has changed the food has been absolutely awful. It used to be the best restaurant I knew but now the food, especially the kebab, is very underwhelming.

Everything was amazing. The waitress was so polite, and we attended ladies' night at the restaurant. The DJ was fantastic, and we had an incredible night. As the Arabic saying , "كان من ليالي العمر" ("It was a night to remember"). We highly recommend this restaurant; it's the best in London. The food was WOW 🫶🏻

Had a lovely time here. The food was tasty and freshly grilled, with generous portions for the price, and service was very friendly and helpful (my mum was given a special birthday cake for free). Drinks were way too pricy and the restaurant was quiet for a Saturday evening, but we had a great time and would return.

not very impressed, quality if meat is average and the lamb was dry. quantity was ok for price but half if the salad was onions which I don't like. only half a slice of thin bread at the bottom of dish. didn't even come with any sauces. very disappointed for the money spent.

Such a lovely lounge. I had an amazing time here yesterday. The staff were very friendly and kind. Honestly amazing customer service. The lounge was lovely and so was the food. They also serve good Moroccan tea which reminded me of back home 🇲🇦. Overall, it’s definitely a place I would come back to.

Had a great time at La’Moda London. The modern decor and cozy Arabian courtyard provided a perfect setting for an evening out. 🍠The service was very good, the food was dissapointing . Order vegetarian Ockra sauce and bulgar rice . A small bowl with three Ockra sliced in half filled with sauce ! Meal was not of quality. Price paid definitely does not reflect meal. I hope changes can be made for vegetarian lovers 🥦

I recently dined at La'Moda Lounge, and it was fantastic! The super friendly staff made me feel right at home. The chic atmosphere, especially the Arabian courtyard, was delightful. Very welcoming staff and the atmosphere was good but not for non-smokers, I had a milk cake and karak tea. Milk cake was ordinary, karak was good. However it was a bit overpriced for an ordinary milke cake was £9.99.

Except for the Loud music, all was great. Will definitely visit again. Amir was so good to us. Thank you Amir, tye service is superb 👌

Food is absolutely delicious, very fresh and full of flavour. We had the red rice, lamb and aubergine and the fatoush salad and the kunafe with mint tea. The service is very attentive. We enjoyed our meal very much. Would definitely recommend this place. High end decor. 5 stars !!!!

Absolutely amazing food and service

Me and my aunt went there for Eid celebration and the overall experience was OK. But there were a few things that really annoyed me: 1. We were charged more than the given price on one of the dishes (without being told in advance that it will cost more if we changed the ingredients, 5 pounds extra). 2. The manager said that the upstairs VIP was full when there were two available tables since the time we entered the restaurant. And they made us wait a long time. 3. When we finally got upstairs we were told that the manager gave us free Kunafa because they kept us waiting, which we later on found out that we paid for anyway (checked the receipt 10 pounds). 4. We ordered a premium shisha for 30 pounds with mixed flavours and I can promise you that even a cigarette would taste better than what that shisha did. 5. There were kids running around all over the place and the music was very loud. But the food was quite alright and some of the staff were quite friendly.

Yesterday was our first visit to this restaurant. However, the food was disappointing from both sides, quality and quantity! first the lamb kofte was still pink and raw from the inside!! Secondly, Once you have got your order on the table, you can clearly notice the small quantity of the food although it's not Cheap at all. Neither rice nor Chips comes with the meal. anyway I don't recommend this restaurant and that was our first and last visit!

I came here in November for my birthday but forgot to leave a review. I’ve been to Morocco a few times and being in this restaurant made me feel like I was back there which is a good thing. The vibes the atmosphere was unique and lovely. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food which was the downside as the vip lounge was full and they were being catered to the most. We got a La moda special grill which didn’t have one of the meats available as they had ran out of it. The vip people upstairs were very loud had actions and their own party going on but downstairs atmosphere was nice there were other customers getting up dancing being cheerful. The food when it did arrive was nice and the manager could understand we waited a very long time so he gave us complimentary rice and chips and as it was my birthday he did the birthday show with cake and sparkler for free and did apologise multiple times. Nice place good service but the vip was very busy and took most the attention. It did get very cold as we were sitting next to a side where the window couldn’t be closed but the manager did get the fire heater and turn it on for us.

Overall amazing experience with an outstanding service, me and the family loved it and will definitely be returning for more.

The food was perfect, just felt like all the ingredients were very fresh. It was served quickly and we had staff check on us frequently. The music was a bit too loud but I think its to give party feel, there may have been a party upstairs or something. I will come back surely.

My only regret is that we did not know about this place sooner! Delicious halal food, extraordinary watermelon and mango fresh juices (many more flavours), clean nice ambience and super friendly and courteous staff.

First visit here and very impressed ! The food was hearty & fresh, tasted great - would recommend the baby chicken or lamb shank as that’s probably their specialty. Service was friendly and waiters made us feel welcome, checked on us during the meal. The vibe of the place is immaculate and you can come here for a group, romantic, casual, or relaxed meal!

Had issues with service initially but manager sorted out everything quick. Very good food and shisha was spot on.

Booked this lounge for my birthday, thought we'd come for some shisha and dessert. we got there and waited maybe 15 mins to be seated. they took us in to the back and had us across 2 tables which I didn't understand why as we were one party. we then had to get extra chairs just so we could all sit around one table. then it took them maybe 30 minutes for someone to come up to us to take an order after maybe 5 failed attempts of trying to get the waiters attention. after then it was just as hard to their attention afterwards. we asked for some lemon water which after asking 3 times showed up. they weren't overly busy either so I don't understand why the service was so poor. The drinks and desserts weren't anything to rave about.

We came to La Moda for a birthday celebration and wasn’t sure what it’s like but we came home all happy and we really enjoyed the evening . The wonderful staff , head chef gave a very pleasant impression and was accommodating with our group the place has great ambience and we love that the restaurant has very good layout as compared to other places where the food smell is everywhere and often smell sticks to your clothes even after you leave the place There are vegetarian options which is always a good thing. hopefully more vegetarian options on menu soon I highly recommend.

Horrible customer service very disrespectful staff and the manger just promised things he would not do and this is not our first time being disappointed . we booked for Saturday and requested a table upstairs and have been trying to reach the manager for few days now till today he finally answered us saying it’s fully booked and you will be seated downstairs where there is no party and that you should’ve called to book so basically just excuse for his carelessness not checking online booking which in this case shouldn’t be available if no one reads them. Instead of offering some kind of solution he said I will cancel your booking ( keep in mind we are regular customers) very disrespectful

Food generally good, though the fasolia stew looked and tasted like someone had just emptied a tin of baked beans into a takeaway container.
