Wimpy in Merton

Love this place great service lovely food clean and friendly great burgers... great selection of meals plus quick service..plus local so very handy near Underground and shops..

After being rudely awoken at around 6.38 am, by a courier at my front door, within the ensuing minutes thereafter, I had finally ‘got the message’/received a razor....and a copy of a certain EL James ‘novel’.....in the aforementioned package.Post-shave, I felt ravenous! WIMPY! I thought - and also how I felt I looked without my manly stubble!Morden Wimpy is always consistently good for its food. - the place is always clean and tidy; the owner and staff are very nice and fastidious.Service is always very good.Thoroughly enjoyed the fish burger and chips - an ideal later afternoon snack, before heading home. Chips here are excellent.If one requires parking, nearby, then take the left turn before Sainsbury’s where there is a two tiered car park.Parking directly out front, isn’t advised, as it’s primarily for taxis.

Didn’t eat myself today (but have done many times, previously). Manager and staff are very nice and place is kept spotless. Two colleagues had a Half pounder and a Wimpy King Size each, with chips, whilst I had a diet cola.

Excellent eat-in meal with a colleague, on the way back from Central London.Place is always immaculately tidy, and staff very pleasant.Usual pop cultural chat whilst waiting for food - whose film to watch tonight - Florentine Lahme/Ana De Armas/Sylvia Hoeks ?Service was quick - my Fish Finger burger was excellent, along with very good chips.Colleague had Smokey BBQ burger with onion rings and coleslaw - apparently very good indeed, also.Very enjoyable meal!

My wife and I having come back from Manchester on the train went into this cafe/diner for a quick coffee and use of their facilities before getting our Uber home.I always loved Wimpy before Macdonalds was ever thought of, and we always used to take the kids in one during the eighties . I was so surprised when we went in just how really the culture is unchanged.The staff were welcoming and the place was spotlessly clean, I couldn’t help having a couple of burgers and fries, and best of all a strawberry milkshake!!!The deserts look fabulous but I didn’t surcom!!’The food was great , and the price reasonable! And by the way the toilets were spotlessly clean . I will be going to Manchester again soon. !

I haven't been into a Wimpy for almost 30 years. Impressions on return - overpriced and inadequate. Best for Nostalgia and in fairness waiting staff were polite and ardent, but the Cheeseburger - which I had was simply a waste of £3.30 and a bottle of Water for £1.70. I'm sure they have loyal custom, hence they won't miss mine

I had made a fatal mistake, earlier in the day, of giving a dog, chicken nuggets from a ‘rival’ fast food chain.The dog in question would not stop salivating and demanding more, afterwards, so I gave in to his demands and stopped off here for chicken strips and chips.Place is clean - he had the chicken, and I had the chips.All good. Nearest parking is adjacent to Sainsbury’s.

Lovely and clean but burgers had no taste and did not taste like burgers. Bacon did not have and taste in fact burgers very bland. Thought it might have been me but person I with said the same. Chips were fine but you can’t go wrong with frozen chips.

Exceptionally clean and fastidious staff. Quick service. Both Fish Finger Burger and Southern Fried Quorn Burger were excellent.

It has been a few years since I've been to this restaurant, but on a late night back on the Northern line we really fancied a good old fashioned (Wimpy) meal and having been here many, many moons ago we hoped it would not let us down.They did not less us down, in fact it appears to still be under the same management. The order was taken quickly, the food arrived promptly and the whole team where super friendly. Not to mention it is spotlessly clean. And of course the food was just what we wanted too. So may be I'm a little biased, still wearing those rose coloured glasses from days gone by - but on this occasion I'm glad nothing has changed.

I love Wimpy. As a young teen, I used to take myself to the local Wimpy and treat myself on a Saturday.Nothing's changed - the bender is still there, the 'International Grill', the classic greatest burger 'under the bun'.I guess it's a franchise operation now, but I've been going to this particular restaurant for a few years and it's been the same guys running the place all the time. Absolutely charming and polite. The restaurant is very clean, almost spotless.If you want to treat the kids, or even yourself, you really can't go wrong. Thank you Wimpy!

Really low-quality food, not a clean place to eat and generally sad dining experience. The milkshakes were ok but nothing special. I don’t advise going there and won’t be doing that outlet don't recommend it at all.

Wimpy has been in Morden for more than 50 Years A good meal that doesn't change that don't only do Burgers . They other stuff equally as good

Could not believe it when I stumbled across this place. It is about 30+ years since I have been in a Wimpy so I had to give this place a go.

The food was great, it was clean including the toilets and the staff were really nice to us. We had been drinking all afternoon and the cashier was patient as we didn’t know what to order and another member of staff got me a plaster! (The cut was from the day before)

Had the fantastic Pleasure of Finding this place Just down from Morden Tube Station.

Living in Bolton we don't get much chance to sample Wimpy sadly as based off this one they leave the other burger chains in there wake.

Hadn't been to Wimpy in many years, was with family and hungry passing through Morden and ended up at Wimpy as my kids wanted chips! Have to say was very pleasantly surprised - very clean, friendly staff, fast service, very good food and overall good value for money!! What's not to like!?!? We will return - highly recommend this place

Diverted here for an excellent takeaway, on way back from Central London, whilst heading for Wimbledon Village...... Fish Finger Burger and Chips were both delicious. Staff always very pleasant.

I've been to a few Wimpys around the UK and this is the best. Clean, Food always excellent. Service cannot be faulted. I only wish all Wimpys were like this. Very highly recommended . .

I stopped by today and decided to have lunch at The WimpeyBar here in Morden. This clean and friendly little burger bar is still by far the best and produces the best spicy beanie burger in town. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was hot and delicious, freshly cooked and delivered to my table with a smile. It is such a shAmerican there are so few of these places left when, in my opinion, they leave all the other burger chains in the shade!

I usually stop off here, sporadically, for a takeaway, whilst on my way to see a very elderly friend.

I always find it great in wimpy. I've loved it since I was a kid and the Morden one is great. Lots of good options and great service. Coffee could be better.

Love wimpy quarter pounder with cheese and chips lovely with burger sauce yummy . Milkshakes are very nice really thick .lovely and friendly staff

We'd been here before and enjoyed our visit. Last week we went to Eastbourne and were disappointed to find the Wimpy had shut down. So visiting Morden, a visit to the Wimpy was a must. I have to say it was everything we expected and more. I would think that this Wimpy is really far better than the ones we remember. My favourite from years ago was always the Wimpy special grill, which is no longer available.....except they will do it for you! What more could you want? Absolutely first class in every way, I cannot fault it, it's just a shame it's so far from us. We will be back.

What a change from the usual burger bar, a clean table and waiter service. The restaurant is extremely clean and welcoming and the orders were taken promptly after we had been seated. The food was served an a plate and not in a box (a real treat). Certainly not gourmet cooking, but everything was hot and tasty and good value for money, and we were not made to feel that we had to rush out as soon as we had finished eating.

Freshly cooked food. Prompt service. Polite waiters. Always spotless and clean.would recommend this restaurant.

When I saw that there was a Wimpey in Morden, I thought we have to visit. Got to say it was great, polite staff table service and food I have not had in years. Got to say the food was as good as I remember, and cooked to order. My teenage daughter said it was better that all of the other fast food places, and would recommend to her friends.

Used to come here all the time as a child the food was great, not the way it was 20 years ago but still ok, a little expensive I mean 18 quid for 2 meals but the restaurant is very clean and staff are friendly

This is a great restaurant with friendly staff, they still have the old Wimpy classics but it comes at a price.

Had chicken and chips....lovely food served hot with a great service. BRING BACK MORE WIMPY'S........lots of other meals to choose from

I have been in there three or four times and every time it's been good. The food is cooked well and is not greasy or cold.

Stopped and had a great wimpy breakfast which I really enjoyed, not greasy, bacon lovely and crispy with toast and coffee all for 5.99. Service was prompt and quick, the only thing I would say is the staff should smile.

I usually come here for a quick lunch once a week...fantastic freshly made food. Good size portion. Great service and nice clean restaurant. Forget mcdonalds, burger king etc. Wimpy is by far the best and Morden wimpy is the best of all. Many thanks.
