Need Wimpy back up in the North East.

Always has good food served hot for quite lunch and paper read it a good place

A most enjoyable trip back to Morden where I grew up more than sixty years ago now, and the Wimpy bar - it didn't have one in those days, you had to head off to the bright lights of Tooting or Clapham to find one - it certainly brought all the memories back - good stuff.

We had some burguers w.o chips. They really tasted like at home. Very good quality and very nice, friendly staff. We repeated on the same day since we just loved it. Thanks guys.

We don’t come here often as we live far away, but it was one of my son’s favourite places as a child. We went back today to eat in. The place looked clean, our order was taken quickly and the staff were very friendly to the regulars that were coming in. When they delivered the drinks, they got the flavour of my son’s milkshake wrong. I took it back and politely explained that he had ordered a different flavour. She looked at me as if we were the ones that got the order wrong not her, just said okay and shrugged her shoulders. She bought the right flavour back but was not apologetic and in fact the total opposite like we had put her out. When our meals came, they had also got the portion of our mozzarella sticks side dish wrong, but after the milkshake incident and how surly the waitress was we really didn’t feel comfortable raising it. My bean burger was lovely, my son‘s quarter pounder was also good but his chips were very bland. Despite the poor service, I did leave a tip, for which the waitress did not look at all grateful so I wished we hadn’t bothered. Sadly, I think that will be our last visit. I’d rather go to a Wimpy where you don’t have to be a regular for the staff to be friendly and get your order right! Also, for what we had, it was too expensive, they have really put their prices up.

Love the bender frankfurters here, I went for the international grill because you can't beat it oops, yes you can because they sell the best milkshakes in the whole world here, this wimpy here has the right machine to make them not many branches do!

I had always wanted to try Wimpy, but the Morden location is always empty. Today, I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The "cheesy fries" were like microwaved rocks, making them incredibly hard to chew. The burger was also disappointing, lacking flavor and quite sad-looking. I paid £13.75 for this meal, which was not worth it at all. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful. Honestly, Cottage Chicken or Morley's are much better options.

Wimpy is one of the most over looked fast restaurants in UK. Everyone talks about McDonald’s, KFC, Five Guys and Burger King how good it is. But Wimpy is included aswell. One thing Wimpy beats all the other fast food restaurants, they give customers plates, knife and fork and there is so much space to sit down in seats. And the seats are so comfortable. Anyway the one I regularly attend to Is the Wimpy in Morden. The customer service in that branch is excellent and all the staff are so friendly and very fun to talk to. And the vegetarian choices in Wimpy are excellent as I am vegetarian myself. Thumbs up to Wimpy in Morden 👍👍👍. 10 out of 10 for sure.

I really hope Wimpy opens more restaurants during the latter half of this decade.

Got there at 20.15pm to have something to eat they would only offer take away as said they shut at 21.00pm. We still would have had 45 minutes to eat. Staff were chatting & not much customer service. Won’t be going there again. Bring back the old manager Ali he did not turn anyone away. No wonder these restaurant’s go under,

Good place to stop for a coffee, close to Morden Tube Station. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

The most expensive dog burger I've had the mis fortune to eat. It was grim and comparable to the dodgy burgers you got from a travelling fair in the 60s..never again.not a touch on the wimpys I remember in the 70s

My partner and I visited the restaurant yesterday. Food and drinks good. The place was spotless. First class friendly and efficient service.

Been going there for years. Friendly staff,great food and service.

Tastey, hot and fresh food. Served good, waiters are prompt. Ambiance is good. Place is maintained clean and neat. No much rush so enjoyed the meal.

I liked the food overall, but the service was a bit weird overall, a distinct lack of communication from 3 different people in the place. Everyone seemed to just assumed I knew how everything worked, nobody asked about allergies or anything, the waiter was deathly silent the whole time, took my order with a look then took the menu away wordlessly. The food was good, I got the chicken burger, but the service just threw me a lot.

Staff and food great, but a little on the expensive side. The only place I will eat in Morden as its so clean .....

Nice atmosphere, the service was great, a little pricey, but overall, the burger and chips were tasty. It's definitely better than McDonald's in terms of service, portions and atmosphere. I would visit again. But I wouldn't make it a regular stop.

Went for lunch with a colleague from work. Haven't been to a wimpey over 15 years since children grown. I was pleasantly surprised. Impressive. Clean friendly welcoming environment and quality of food was exceptionally superb. Fresh and well presented. I would definitely reccommend. Keep up the highest standards guys you will never be short of customers and as for me I will be returning for lunch most definitely. Thank you for your quality customer care.

Great food produced quickly, but expensive for what it is.

After a show in the West End, what more then a Wimpy to finish off the day.

The new Malden wimpy Is a go to restaurant. Very friendly staff excellent food, hot and well presented. Very clean tables and floors. Will definitely visit again.

Best burger/chips I ever had, this passes any other fast food chains such as McDonald's. The staff were very polite and I got my food in just 10 minutes and the place is very clean.

I would be glad if the TV was off or we could just have a bit of background jazz. But lovely staff. Clean. Basic decor a bit too red for my tastes. but good place to meet. I had a nice coffee.

Spacious place. Clean and nice feeling as you enter. Very very close to the bus stop and Morden train station .

Every thing is freesh and delicious. I’m vegetarian I had tried vegan burger, chips and mushroom. The waitress was polite and kind his name is Can. I will come back again 🤩

Very clean store! Staff were ok. Nothing extra, just ok. Food looked good. Hamburger was tasty and had a good bun. Fries were a bit lacking. Think they should have been cooked a little bit more.

This is the classic Wimpy restaurant that has been under the same management for many years, so always maintains a great standard. Food is freshly cooked for you and pleasantly served. Have been many time and will continue to do so.

The wimpy is fine and the new renovations are good but the price of the food for the amount to get isn't great... £3 for a small portion of chips. I know the cost of living is ridiculous, I just hope the prices go down soon as it was great to go there before.

Very quiet,staff on their phones as there were only 5 customers,food arrived about 15mins after ordering,not very big inside so any parents with big pushchairs will have a hard time moving further down towards the back of the restaurant

I cant recommed this place more. The food and service was excellent and the whole place is spotless. The kids all loved their food and Ive got to admit there is nothing like getting a pot of tea with your fry up. Absolute magic.

Saturday afternoon visit. Branch looks new and is super clean. Staff polite, food delivered quickly. Tasty and hot. Nice space whether you're on your own or with friends. Toilets very clean too.

I just could not believe the cleanliness of this fast food outlet. It was AMAZING! I’ve never seen any restaurant so clean. Was really impressive. The burger was really good too. Also had a lovely chat with the owners after. Very lovely people!!!

There’s another one near me and the food was awful, it made me think that was a reflection on the chain itself but this location had a good reputation so I gave it a go and have been a loyal customer since. The decor’s awesome, really clean & retro look and the food items include things not available in other burger chains like Sweet Potato Chips, Mozzarella Melts, Herbal Teas etc. They offer table service too. I’d recommend for takeaway coffee/breakfast but also sitting in- the spicy bean burger is genuinely the best vegetarian burger I’ve had. I 100% recommend, this is how Wimpy should be done.

I visited today, had a breakfast and my partner had a vegan burger with a milkshake. First thing I noticed was the restaurant was immaculate, completely spotless. The food as hot and fresh and the staff were very friendly and created a relaxing atmosphere.

The owner Ali is super friendly and accommodating.

Can't remember the last time we went for a Wimpy, but we were not disappointed. It was like a throw back to the 70's.Still the distinct Wimpy taste of a cheese quarter pounder, Pepsi and a Brown Derby for afters which was excellent.Everything nice and clean with helpful staff.We intend to go back soon.

Good food delivered hot. Have placed 2 orders via Deliveroo now. But the Whirl ice cream was HALF the size it was in our last order, yet ordered the same item????? Doesn’t make sense…

Great place. Other than the prices being a bit high, it was a great experience. The staff are very friendly and served us quickly. It is great to have this Wimpy still around, and the food is very nice.

Bit expensive as for a family of 4 paid £50, the burgers don't come as a meal deal infact you have to pay for chips and drinks separate. Would recommend it as a family treat 😩
