Roxie Steak- Wimbledon in Merton

I've booked a table for Saturday night as it was a special occasion for me and my parents, and it has been a very nice experience. I've been very happy with the service, staff were very helpful and accommodating The food was tasty, we ordered 3 juicy steaks,fries and a bottle of wine ,we also ordered 3 different dessert as I wanted my parents to know the traditional desserts and they really enjoyed them. The price was ok, not too expensive but not too cheap either. So in conclusion, I am very satisfied of the evening spent in here. I would definitely suggest this place too my friends.

Lady waitress very cold and unwelcoming on arrival- gestured for me to pick any table and fobbed me off. She then came to table to drop water and menu, made no eye contact or conversation. I mentioned that could smile, she said was, when evidently not. I got up and left. Wouldn’t return.

War hatten zuerst eine etwas unfreundliche Bedienung. Nach dem Apéro bediente uns eine sehr nette und kompetente Person. Das Fleisch war ausgezeichnet, ebenso das Gemüse (Rahmspinat). Die Pommes waren gut. Wir tranken einen feinen italienischen Wein (Barolo). Zum Schluss gab es einen leckeren Dessert.

I would like to thank Norbert for being a wonderful waiter, he recommended all the best sauces that go with the different types of steaks. He is an absolute asset to the company and I will like him to serve me the next time I go!

A truly wonderful meal with my family for Father’s Day. The steaks were cooked to perfection and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Though myself and my partner have been before it was a first for our children. They have both declared it their new favourite restaurant.

6 of us for dinner last night and it was as usual top notch. Great steak, great ribs, nice salads and lovely creamy spinach. Service was spot on as usual. Definitely be back.
