Mitcham Miller and Carter we was served by Yaneena who was attentive and super friendly! Food was amazing too thank you so much 😊

I mean where to start Yaneena from the get go had us covered and took care of us throughout our whole meal being very attentive and lovely definitely made the difference in our choice to come back.

Lovely food. Excellent service and so friendly. Good sized portions and extensive drinks/ cocktails.

Me and my partner came in for a late valentines dinner, it was great except for the filet mignon which came at more of a medium than the requested medium rare. Yaneena was great, very smiley and bubbly, she was very efficient and polite and was quick to take my steak away to the kitchen and request for it to be cooked again, although not her fault she apologised and was very polite. She is a great bonus to Miller and Carter. As an EX Miller & Carter waitress, I’d have loved a colleague like Yaneena, well done and thank you once again for the great time you’ve given us ❤️

Popped into the local miller and Carter. Lovely location and good parking. Been here many times. I had mushroom, spinach and cheese starter which was not that tasty. I had the mains as sticky ribs, chips and coleslaw agaric was lovely. I had a passion fruit mocktails which I really enjoyed. The waitress was very nice and friendly and applied my NHS discount!

First visit to Miller & Carter. Expected OKish carvery style steak & chips but the food was flavoursome, well cooked and beautifully presented. Hayley, our waitress, was knowledgeable, helpful and delivered 5 star service. I didn’t award 5 stars overall as the onion bake was a let down, a view shared by a co diner. The ‘Strawberry Fields’ non alcoholic cocktail on the other hand was superb. Atmosphere was great, suitable for couples, small or large groups and was clearly popular with families.

This is the 2nd time I’ve visited the Mitcham. Branch and again I’m utterly disappointed. The so called general manager lack discretion and warmth when we arrived. Unfortunately this is the 2nd time I’ve dealt with this member of staff and both times have been a disgrace. I booked a table for dinner online and paid £30 deposit. When I arrived I was told the booking was not on the system. I showed my booking reference and was given a blank stare and told he can’t check the booking reference on the system. We asked for the next table available and he advised it would be 1hour15 mins wait. Whilst I tried to download the app and locate the booking under his instruction. He gave that table away and advised with a smirk the next table would now be available in 2 hours. I’m not sure if discrimination was a part to play here. But the duty manager did nothing to try and help sort the booking. And literally turned us away with no deposit and no table. The was no discretion used to rectify the issue, no warmth no customer service. Miller and carter you need to reconsider the management team at the mitcham branch. It’s absolutely appalling service with a frown

Food was decent, burger was a bit dry - but i have to really big up Yaneena on her exceptional service. I hope managers are seeing this and gives her the praise she deserves.

Came here for Valentine’s menu. Service was lovely - had two different waitresses who were equally so polite and lovely. Food was excellent and loved the Malbec and espresso martini was the best I’ve tried. Will be coming again!

Fantastic value for money and the service was very nice. There was a nice relaxing atmosphere and the steaks were spot on. Special shout out for the Mac and Cheese as well. Service was good but the food was lower quality than I expected. I asked the steak to be rare but it was more medium. My child maccaroni and cheese was a very small portion and she was hungry after. So it was a disappointing visit.

We came here to celebrate my husbands new job, I also found out we were pregnant! We had the 3 course from the rare treats menu on Saturday which is valid from 12 -5pm. We arrived at 4.30pm for our booking and promptly taken to our table. We received the standard menu instead of the rare treats menu. My fault, for not stating it on the booking. We couldn't get anyone's attention until I interrupted one waitress who was on her phone, near the toilets, she brought us the rare treats menu at 4.35pm. Our main waitress took our drinks order and advised we need to order before 5pm. I tried to flag down a waitress to order, but 4 of them were busy chatting away at the till. I got one of their attention at 4.45pm, then we were promptly served. At point of service, we were told the steak were both sirloin, we asked for ribeye and sirloin. She cross-checked and confirmed one was sirloin and the other ribeye. Our main waitress who was pregnant had great interpersonal skills which made our experience better. This was our first experience at Miller and Carter, aside from the above, the chefs did an outstanding job, the food was cooked properly and presented well. It was mouth watering! The non-alcoholic cocktails and wine were delicious. We will both be back and hope for a slightly better experience.

My Dad decided to go to Miller & Carter in Mitcham for his 65th Birthday yesterday and my Dad had attended this steakhouse before, so he knew what he wanted for his birthday; whole family including myself attended that evening. The food we all received was cooked to perfection with no complaints (where was the bell? - Dad wanted to ring it). Besides the food being fantastic, (which everyone wants to know from any restaurant review) we must not forget to comment on the level of service addressed as we entered the building and sat down to eat throughout the evening. Greeted with smile at the door & at the bar (not sure of both their names) gave professional service and answered questions quickly and efficiently. Our server for the evening was Morgan (from who I was prompted at the end of the night to make a review when we can, in the kindest statements) who was very informative & knowledgeable with the questions we asked, patient with our order, asked if we needed anything else or if the food is ok. The surprise; as the night came to a close, we must admit, we all wasn’t expecting a little cake for Dad as no-one requested it (everyone in the back room sang along - lovely), but we believe Morgan took it upon herself to get one anyway, after mum, being mum, had to let her know while ordering (didn’t ask for a little mini cake, just a statement). Overall, level of service excellent, food perfection, seating and table clean, fantastic dining experience and most importantly we all will attend again, maybe Father’s Day, who knows.

I went to Miller & Carter, Mitcham, on a first date, and it was splendid. I had the côte de boeuf with a grilled lobster tail—highly recommended. All the dishes were cooked to perfection. Thank you, Tracey, for an amazing time! She was friendly and welcoming, making my evening even more special.

Service was first class. Waitress who served us was helpful, friendly and brilliant at her job. Made our large group feel individually looked after and was really accommodating of the children. Food was delicious, love that beef dripping sauce!!

Went early on a Friday evening. Starters were good, halloumi chips and garlic bread. Main courses were lack lustre. Chips uncooked, they were replaced when requested. Steak was undercooked compared to what was requested and just tasted bland. Peppercorn sauce vile. Service friendly but a little slow due to staff being very busy.

Our server was excellent. Very nice lady. However I ordered medium rare fillet steak, unfortunately it was raw in the middle. So I did ask for it to be given a few more minutes on the grill.

Food was as good as I remember. We were looked after by Jasmine who was 10/10! Jasmine was attentive, kind, helpful and overall her service was outstanding. I would definitely come back just based on how amazing she was!! Thank you so much once again for making my family dinner a delight.

I waited a long time for delivery, food was cold and undercooked and I didn't even receive my bottle of wine. Driver wasn't helpful when asked where my wine is and staff at restaurant didn't care. wondering why I pay service charge when service poor. I hope it would be different as eat in customer as apposed to takeaway one. I don't think I would use this restaurant again.
