We had my brothers wake at the earl Beatty the buffet was fantastic sandwiches nice and full everything was fresh and very tasty especially the pickle sausage rolls , the venue it’s self is beautiful very clean and great outdoor area, staff where fab especially Brandon/bradley since the wake have been back twice for food with my kids and friends would recommend if in the area

I visited with my best friend and her daughters. The service was amazing. We had six small plates to share. The food was exemplary, hot, tasty and brought to our table quickly after we ordered. No words! We sat in the garden, a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Will definitely be back!!

Ive visited the Beatty numerous times over the past few months and each time has been nothing short of exceptional, the staff are incredibly friendly as well as extremely efficient, the food was delicious & our drinks were made with care, wonderful service and overall a lovely atmosphere

Popped in before my birthday for a pint and some food with my girlfriend to celebrate a sunny Friday, place looked nice with a garden. A week later I got a £100 fine for parking in their car park!!! From memory the car park is barely finished and full and did not have adequate signage to say you need to pay for parking or whatever. Really frustrating and will never return to this establishment or any other in their chain. 100% will fight this as we cannot let these bottom feeders get away with robbing people. DONT BOTHER GOING.

Went here to have a drink and a week later got a fine for parking in the car park. It's not clearly restricted, not signed well. Absolute scam. Don't bother going they'll just rip you off.

Nice pub with nice outdoor areas. But last 3 times I've come it's either been 45min plus wait on food or order food and don't receive it. Waited over 40mins for chips so left. Be better

Visited the pub recently which is my local. I went to the bar to order a round of drinks. I was waiting patiently for a few mins whilst the member of staff (I believe his name is Eldwyn) was chatting to another customer. Assuming they could be mid order, I waited. It became apparent they were just watching the racing on TV whilst chatting. It was very clear I was waiting as I was right beside them. I then asked Eldwyn was he ready to serve to which he replied yes without even looking at me. I then had to give my drinks order which he couldn’t even be bothered to look at me for. I also asked for a glass of water to which he responded by pointing at the jug!! I have never experienced this type of rudeness and attitude for all my years visiting this pub which is a very long time!!!!

We had a lovely roast lunch here while watching the tennis! Monika & the ladies behind the bar were very attentive & made us welcome. Thank you x

Brilliant pub for footie (now they’ve got security)

I can’t praise the staff enough tonight, lots of people trying to get in but Monica kept them all in order. Watching the England game was a pleasure. 10 out of 10. Also the sharing plates were outstanding.

Me and a group of ten others came on a Wednesday evening. We had the pleasure of being served by a lovely girl called Sophie. She was so welcoming and her customer service was beyond excellent. Her attitude and charisma will be the reason that the Earl Beatty will become a regular place for us.

Lovely pub! It had been a while since I last came down to the Earl Beatty and my what an improvement! The interior is beautifully decorated, the food was fantastic and the staff are brilliant. Really nice garden area too which is going to be great in the summer. Will definitely be coming down more often!

This is myself & my partners local and we love coming here… However, recently they seem to not have enough staff on for the amount of guests in the pub which is lacking service standards. I’ve attached a photo of a “portion of chips” we brought, they both fit in one bowl! After asking a lady if that is a full portion she said of “course it is” I found that hard to believe. Not only that but be wary of a few guests in there, one man tried to say a dog bit him but I saw the whole thing it just jumped up at him.

First time visiting in a few years. It used to be an absolute dive but really nice pub now, staff are friendly and got served promptly despite it being busy

Very pleasant staff, food was great, loving the new interior. The ordering on the app system needs updating as meal deals were not going through together However, everything got sorted by the lovely lady called jaz-mai who is a credit to the company. Will definitely visit again

My favourite local pub! Not only does it look amazing but the staff can't do enough for you. We've hired out the back room for so many events and every time they are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Monica and Brandon are an absolute dream!

The Earl Beattie is the best pub in the area! The most amazing beer selection along with good food! There are so many food options to choose from and every single one is unreal. Also the best events. It’s always busy such a good atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub, if you’re with the family, friends or a little after work get together. The staff are great, Monika, Annabelle and Brendan are so lovely. Go to the Beattie !

Very disappointing visit. Such a lovely pub, big and comfortable...but... appear to have stopped doing the senior menues and stopped taking veterans discount card. Just one barman working his socks off, nice lad, very unflustered and polite (needs a raise) but insufficient staffing. Did not have item I ordered on menu, went for the steak instead which my dog enjoyed as it was like ole boot leather, and no mustard either. My dad had a steak pie which he didnt share with the dog being quite paletable. Wont be in a rush to return for sure.

A busy and clean pub chosen for the wake following a relatives funeral The handsome chef and his assistant did a good job of setting up the buffet,the young barmaid was pleasant and efficient.

Popped in for a coffee and didn't have any food. Was a bit disappointed that the advertised coffee and cake deal wasn't available because there was no cake! However, the pub is nicely decorated and has a nice vibe. I will definitely come back to have a meal when I have time. Loved the decor in the ladies' loo, too!

Booked a table for new year no record even though I received confirmation. Two bar staff short landlady nowhere to be seen and no DJ as advertised.Wasted money on Uber getting there left after an hour to go elsewhere. We definitely won’t be rushing back.

I have lived in Motspur Park for my whole life and my family have been coming to this pub for a long time. I really respect the bar staff and they work so hard and are really friendly. My only gripe is on two separate occasions I have ordered vegan food and have been given vegetarian food instead. Firstly non vegan hash browns in a vegan breakfast wrap and then camembert was added to my vegan burger. This is really frustrating and I want to warn other vegans about this. Especially those with a dairy allergy who order the vegan option to avoid allergens. It's really not on and I hope the kitchen staff are able to manage this better. I appreciate the staff being so apologetic about this and providing new food. They handled it very well and they must be so overwhelmed during the holiday seasons as this pub is always packed. I hope this is avoided in future and the team keep up the hard work

I'm an Agoraphobic of 27yrs, so this was my first night out in a public house with two complete strangers in many year's.

Attended the Breakfast with Santa morning on Sunday 17th Dec. Great little set up with Eldwyn(yes I knew it was you by the accent!!) making a very good Santa-very Interactive, fun, cheerful and funny. Monika orchestrated it all very well and was rushing about like a proper Santas little helper(in full festive costume which was a nice touch!), trying make sure everyone was kept happy. Only let down was the wait for food orders and it being a little cold on arrival-but it was pretty busy to be fair. Plenty of things for the kids-and adults too-to do, whilst we waited for food(arts & crafts, colouring, puzzles & games etc.) And of course taking plenty of pics of the fantastically newly refurbished bar area, beautifully decorated with lots of festive decorations/Xmas trees and lights. Overall a very good experience and excellent value for money. Will be back again for the “Festive breakfast & Xmas craft on Christmas Eve. Thanks guys, great job 🙏🏼🙏🏼🎄🎅🏼🎁🎉🍛😋

Nice place, car parking a bit problematic

We held my Mother’s 80th Birthday party at the EARL BEATTY pub this weekend just past, on Saturday night. We had the room at the back for ourselves and ordered a buffet for 30 people. The party was a huge success, the back room was private , comfortable, beautifully decorated for Christmas, with pretty lights and tasteful decorations. The food was really good , generously filled sandwiches, and other culinary delights which everyone enjoyed. A special thank you to Christine , one of the bar staff. ( I hope I remembered her name properly) , she was super efficient behind the bar, which was very busy and helped keep our area clear and thanks to the manager , who allowed us to decorate and bring our own music and looked after us! My mother had the best birthday , the atomosphere in the pub was lovely as always and proud to have it as my Local.
