The best restaurants in Merton Park Merton London

Me and my partner ate here last night. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating and had a nice chat with us. The atmosphere was relaxing and it was nice having the sport on TV in the background (but on silent with music to add to the atmosphere of the restaurant). I had the king prawn bhuna, and my partner had the fish bhuna - we both agreed it was the best one we have had (and we have visited many Indian cuisines)! Portions were a really nice size, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely visit again! Thank you Blue Junction :)

I came to the pub on a Saturday afternoon, I bought a cocktail and it was bland just needed a little sweetness and it would of been perfect, I asked the lady who was a waitress if it was ok to have a little dash something sweet, she comes back with a handful of mint leaves in the drink which absolutely didn’t go with the drink, I work in a bar and we accommodate the customers where we can so I know it wasn’t an impossible request, our table had left over glasses and food from the previous people and I kindly asked a waitress if she could clean the table, appreciating it was a busy Saturday afternoon i expressed this to her, I ended up cleaning the table myself, and then the table was wobbly just to top it all off.

Visited at 6pm on 31/3/25. Usually love this place, but the new member of staff that served us this eve let the place down. Why hire a young girl who can barely understand English?? She must come very cheap!! I ordered a WIMPY FLOAT! It's on the menu for heaven's sake - how difficult can it be to get it right?? She brought me a Pepsi. When I asked for ice cream in it she muttered something about the drink overflowing! Not my problem lovey - replace the drink with the correct one then! She tried to way overcharge me too . Not impressed Wimpy. Get some decent staff!!!!! .

This is the BEST Kokoro chain you will find! I am a sushi lover and a Japanese food lover and I have tried sushi EVERYWHERE! Out of all Kokoro places this is my favourite. Sushi is very well made, chicken is halal, the place is clean and neat. I work nearby so I am one of their probably most regular customer. I am always greeted with a smile by all the staff and in particular I know Sana who serves me often. She is very helpful and welcoming. My favourite place to eat ❤️

New Bulgarian has replaced Sanjunana. Food is superb. Looks like this one is going to be successful.

We have visited this place many times, for lunch and breakfast. It is a hidden gem in Merton. The food is exceptional and service is delivered with a smile. If you want to experience authentic Bulgarian food, which is one of the top in the world, visit this place. Bulgarian chefs are one of the best in the World, trust me on this one.

Estoy muy triste y decepcionado. He estado en el restaurante y siempre ha sido genial. Soy miembro de un club con 1300 miembros y cuando me preguntan cuál es el mejor restaurante indio para ir, siempre he dicho que vaya a Raka. Esta noche, tuvimos un parto. Era tarde y hacía frío. Pedí un vindaloo de langostinos reales, que cuando se entregó contenía los más pequeños, más sosos, sobre langostinos cocinados que puedas imaginar. El pollo con mantequilla era insípido. Es una lástima, que en un domingo cuando la cocina no está invadida que tuvimos una entrega que es TAN deficiente al nivel habitual, que me temo que nunca volveré a usar Raka para una entrega. Lo siento chicos, normalmente encantadores, esta noche fue terrible

Usually order from here every few months and never have a problem .. last night ordered me and my partner decided we would get a delivery for mothers day as a treat for myself and it came missing with a couple of items which was a let down but not the end of the world. And we ate our curry but it had a bit of an unusual taste but we were both really hungry and thought maybe someone different had cooked and just their approach on flavour . Unfortunately both myself and him have woken up feeling very unwell .

Horrible comida y no comestible. Los rollos de resorte se filtraban en aceite, por lo que su color ni siquiera se parecía a un rollo de resorte. Los langostinos agridulces no cocinados correctamente y para llevar no separaban la salsa... así que se hizo una papilla harinosa de masa a medio cocinar, nadando en salsa. Pensé que era un error, así que telefoneé al restaurante, y hablé con un hombre grosero, que inicialmente se negó a dar su nombre. Él no se disculpó y por eso dije que terminaría la llamada, lo cual hice. Luego recibí algunas llamadas. La comida se fue a la papelera. No compres en este restaurante.
