It's very yammi and testy pizza staff is extremely nice and kind

1st time I went service wasn't great. Donor was ready but they forgot to put the fries on then I got a small amount. It was delicious so I had to go back. Their phone wasn't accepting calls which is bad for them, but food was prepared quickly and still delicious and filling. Will go back! The menu board had the prices marked with a pen which seemed tacky. I hope they're planning to redo them.

The Döner was very tasty. Unique sauce combinations and good portions. Hats off to Mr. Butt. They take some time but end of the day it was worth the weight. The service can be improved. Overall I won’t hesitate to recommend it.

The good was not good, just makes you sick after eating, forgot the order given, then mixed it up and then forgot to give the chps and the drink. Was warned by locals about food quality, I should have heeded the warnings. They had a single decent sofa table, everything else was acceptable.

me and my dad we ate halfway and we left the food on the table and went out absolutely disgusting, the worst the kebab I ever ate in my life.

Edit: visited this place after ages (as it was closed for 11 months). Its under new management but the chef is the same so the food still rocks! My boy and I demolished a chicken shish plate and Danyal was kind enough to sort out extra fries on the house (free food=happiness). Thanks lads! OMG the lamb doner was scrumptious! I am always a bit weary of doner as I worry about it having that notorious odour and being from Bradford I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of what a good one tastes like! Needless to say Zhe German sorted out my craving tonight…really tasty and fresh! Even better than GDK!!! ❤️

Waited 2 hours for it to be delivered COLD!! The food looked good but didn't taste 100% because obviously I had to microwave it. Came to £22 waste of money really.

Dreadful meal. Ordered lamb shich in a box. Lamb tough (about 6 pieces).the rest was chips,then a box of chips some were cold some were warm .worse meal i have ordered from any home delivery for a long long time absolute waste of money andxtasted awful. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Scammers - some of the menu items are on not in the Uber Eats app. After ordering the order was cancelled after we waited 15 minutes!!! No explanation given as to why??

Shocking doner. Beef doner has changed and is now the processed rubbish you get from your average doner place. Not German doner style anymore - should change name of shop now. Kofte kebab was dry and tough. Chips were as tough as cardboard as if they were recooked. Called up and the person said I was wrong and the doner was the same as its always been. He's only worked there a few months, I've been ordering there for years. Couldn't do anything about it as had no authority apparently. Said he would tell his boss/owner the next day. I rang the next day but no answer. You would have thought they would have done everything they could to get in touch.....no!

The Portion sizes are ridiculous. The combo box for 9.99 comes within a small box with barely any meat and salad. The sauces tasted old as well. Waste of money and disgusting food.

Okish food. Not original Turkish grills. The kofta we ordered were too spicy like indian style, l prefer original turkish seasoning of Kofta, the sauce were aweful, didn't have much going. Too overly priced in my view for the quality. But staff were absolutely lovely.

Portion size is a bit disappointing making it over priced. The boxes are 2/3 filled with chips and a third is meat. Theres an extra charge for more meat. I dont think its value for money. I paid over £45 (excluding delivery)for 4 regular boxes and 1 large. Meat is tender (the only +point) Sauces are ok...a bit on the sweet side. I ordered chillie sauces which were not so spicy. Needed to add my own. I asked for onions on mine which were very thickly cut had to take all of them off. Overall its not bad but wont be ordering from there in a hurry.

Ordered last minute, chicken shush, absolutely lovely. But of spice which I didn’t expect but was 10/10. Timing was just over half hour, delivery man was cheerful for a Friday night, milkshake was lovely. Deffo recommend and will deffo order again. Pricing is worth it!

Just paid £25 through Deliveroo with 3 items. A wrap, a burger and a cheesecake. Burger was expensive, burger was expensive, cheesecake was expensive. Delivery was around 3...Why do I want to pay a lot of money for just 3 items that were not even worth the money I would pay for them? The meat is 'average' if that. The meat is like chicken doner you get from a normal kebab shop. Why are people raving that it's good food when it's not? I won't be buying ever again from such a money greedy place.

It was a very bad experience for me, the chicken doner made me food poisoning. Plz use fresh meats, vegetables and breads. Very tasty doner kebab, authentic German taste! The sauce, the meat, the bread, everything was on point. Also very pleased with the service received.

Gone downhill, used to be nice but quality gone pretty poor, last time i went i ended up with crispy wraps and overcooked/undercooked chips (not sure what was wrong but were not nice!) and meat was average. Its pretty pricey so would expect much better quality. Not as bad as the service though, ordered milkshakes and he made wrong flavours and when i corrected him he asked me if i could just have the wrong ones, then the replacements took ages and didn't get them until way after we finished our food despite asking him 2 or 3 times as he was busy catching up his mate! While that was going on another customer came in asking if they took card and he said no and told him there is a card machine down the road, the guy came back saying the machine was not working then miraculously he pulled a card machine out by which time that customer got really annoyed and walked out. I think many people share my sentiment as the place is now mostly empty wherever i go past. Better off sticking to the original GDK chain, much better food and service for the same price.

Best kebab ever! I had a lamb kebab in bread with all the salad, chips and a diam shake. It was amazing, soo tasty and soo fresh. Portion sizes are huge be warned! Probably could have done without the chips. Highly recommend this place. Even if you go there just for a shake you won't be disappointed. 5 ⭐ from me. Thank you very much!

Tooting - poor customer service, lack of engagement with customers and they ignored my requests for my order. (Opened my food to find several things I'd asked them to avoid adding in.) Servers didn't seem happy to have customers waiting - they would much rather be listening to the live music in the market, disappointing as the last Turkish place was very friendly and welcoming. Won't be back!

Their menu is confusing! Some things come with chips, some don't. I ordered too much food but it was still yummy!

tried it for the first time yesterday, really good portion sizes and good taste but the meat could be a tiny bit less greasy (which is sort of the point of German donner, afaik).

Really enjoyed zhe Germans delicious meals. Their wide selection of sauces is a bonus!

Right where do i begin. Firstly had my 27 year old son not highly recommended Zhe German i would have been deterred from trying it by some of the terrible 1 star reviews. Well all i can advise is that everyone completely ignore those reviews as what i have literally just eaten was fabulous. I opted for the shawarma type mixed lamb & chicken wrap with salad and chilli & garlic sauce. Im 5' 10" and 16 stone and i couldnt eat it all. I highly recommend Zhe German.

New take away on Morden Court Parade which took several months to complete refurb (they having moved from St Helier area). Although it looks smart, food was poor. Bought kofte in a box. For £7.50 I received a small portion of kofte crudely broken down in 5 pieces, a lot of wet salad with soggy chips all stuffed in a small hand box(!). Food was uninspiring, cold and not worth it in terms of portions. Would not spend money here again.

I thought I'd try out the chicken kebab, not very impressed. The salad wasn't fresh n tasteless. Chicken was fair.and a slice of some kind of bread,not pitta bread which meant t go with kebab. The menu was incorrect. So sorry i wouldn't recommend it

UESD to be very good but last nite ordered 3 large portions and we got mini size no help from person on the phone had to insist that they came and take food back and return the money, very upset as food is good but something is going on with portion sizes on difirent days management will be informed .
